Akin Alabi, Nairabet CEO and House Of Reps Member-elect has stated that the man who rejected a house offer for a borehole in his community didn't make a wise decision.Recall that it was reported earlier today that a gateman has rejected a house offer as a parting gift from his boss whom he served for 25 years. He, instead, requested that a borehole be sunk for his community which he said lacked water.

Akin Alabi who reacted to report admitted that it was selfless, but however stated that it was not a wise decision because he could have collected the house, sell it and sink multiple boreholes. He wrote;

Babaflenjor:
Early this morning around 3:26 am, I woke up as a result of a sound on one almond fruit tree beside my window , when I listen very well I discovered it was two birds fighting, initially I didn't take it serious and I went back to sleep.

Around 6am when I was dressing to go to work, I heard the birds still fighting at the other side of the building and I went there to see, when I get there I saw that it was soo serious that two of them were very weak and not ready to surrender to each other to the extent that if one moved back the other will go and meet it, after few minute I went inside to dress up, and I heard one of the bird fell down from the roof and died as I get outside to see it properly I saw the other walking slowly across the roof and suddenly it also fell and died, it look soo strange cos I don't know what can happen between common animal that can made them to fight till death.
thank GOD for ur life o!u for no wake up,it a disagreement between too winsh.the one that will take on u first.may be more are coming.pray the same prayers u prayed last night.

I vividly remember my first trip on an airplane, well that's because it was June, 2018. I flew from Jos to Lagos on an Arik flight. To be honest, when I slept the last night I had no intention of travelling the next day but then it's me so........expect the unexpected...lol

I woke up the next day and was quite determined to be in Lagos that same day. With no previous flight experience because really I've not been so far away from home before.

All my life had been in the west till this point where I had to answer the clarion call to serve the fatherland.

Yeah! so I needed to be in Lagos that day. Why? you'd ask, an emergency? Nothing really....lmao. I was just tired of staying in Jos for over 5 months without being home.

Well, so finally I booked online, I think my flight was slated for 2/3pm, well I read all the instructions on the e-ticket because really I had no idea what I was getting into. So yeah, they said checking in starts 2hrs to the flight time and you could miss your flight once checking is over. Me! miss my flight??!!!! lai lai.

Checking in for my flight

I was there by 12 noon. Did the whole security check thing with FAAN personnel-metal detector. I was suprised tho when I asked to pull of my shoes. In my mind i was like seriously! you guys, is this that serious??!! hahahahaha

Still reading? Don't give up on me yet grin

Well, I checked in, no problems, all smooth. Sat down at the waiting area of the Yakubu Gowon Airport Jos, Plateau State. Finally our plane arrived and I could feel that adrenalin rush.

CONTINUED...after she divorced her first husband, we clicked and i collected the marriage list but somehow even when the family gave me the list they introduced her to a more wealthier guy whose business concern affect the family fortune positively but the engagement failed and my wife ran back to me. During the course of her engagement to the other guy my wife kept delaying our ceremony, no longer visit and her family wont tell me any meaningful excuse not until the engagement was put off and she ran back to me and we immediately commenced the marriage process. It Was a week after marriage i discovered everything and despiced her sexually.

We have been separated 4 months now but the mom had been calling and begging we reconcilled even employing a marriage counsellor for us but the dad had been indiferent and my wife though pompous had shown signs of reconciliation but wont apologize for the irrational actions that sent her away.

There can be reconciliation BUT DO I NEED IT

I got married to my wife few months back but she stays in another state due to her work and there had been measures for she to join me until now. One thing she had repeatedly complain about is my low sex drive as she has boosted of how other men in her life before are stallion but she doesnt want me to be one but be able to meet her libido demands. This comparison created psychological issues for me hence the lack of drive and she really want to make a baby due to her age. Not having more sex has made her fight me, attack me, despice and disrespectful but i have pleaded she give me more time to sort things out but she's more persistent hence we'd been separated for 4 months now, 3 more month to our anniversary.

Another angle is a week after our traditional wedding, i and wife decided to go to the marriage registry to get a certificate but her dad got to know through her, put a call to me and cursed that my children will disrespect me for not informing him. My Wife is a divorcee from another marriage
what kind of family is that, save urself first.

Some ‘photogenic’ gorillas seemed more than ready to show off their good sides as they posed for amazing selfies with anti-poaching rangers.

The hilarious pictures were taken at the Virunga National Park in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and shared on the Facebook page for The Elite AntiPoaching Units And Combat Trackers.

According to their website, Virunga is Africa’s oldest national park. It is an UNESCO World Heritage site, home to exceptional wildlife, including the last of the world’s critically endangered mountain gorillas.

The park is protected by a team of over 600 rangers; some of who seem to have formed a tight bond with the park’s gorillas.

IamHeWrites:
Three Abia State delegates for the 2019 edition of the annual United Nations (UN) International Youth Diplomacy Summit holding in Ghana, are currently stranded in Nigeria, Igbere TV has learnt.

The three delegates are Mr Agu Chisom Samuel, Comr. Eme Udochukwu Prince and Mr Solomon Akuma.

The International Youth Diplomacy Summit is an innovation of model United Nations conference that bring together youths’ across Africa to discuss pertinent issues of global interest. It is a simulation of the United Nations General Assembly, Security Council and other agencies under the United Nations.

Focusing on youth empowerment for sustainable development, the International Youth Diplomacy Conference connects youths’ across Africa and the globe and stimulates a relationship among them aimed at achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

It is expected that the delegates from Abia State leverage on the opportunity to put Abia on the spot light for global interventions geared towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals in the state and Nigeria at large.

The program is, however, not fully funded as the delegates are expected to pay for the registration fee which covers the conference materials and other travel insurance.

In a statement sent to Igbere TV by the delegates, they revealed that they are stranded in the country and appealed to Government of Abia State for support.

“We want to contribute our quota to the society and bring our dear state, Abia on the spot light for global interventions.

“We want to make case for the Youth and attract global empowerment and sustainable development in our dear land.

“But we don’t have the financial well withal to do this and it is in view of this we are making this appeal for support and assistance in every way.

“We are calling on the Government of Abia State, Federal lawmakers and State legislators and all Abians for support, to enable us put our great state on the spot light of excellence.

“The conference is scheduled to make place from the 16th to 20th July, 2019.

“Attached are our letters of acceptance. We can be reached on 08030741515,” the statement read in part.

Champions League: Supercomputer tips Juventus to beat Barcelona to UEFA Champions League title

Italian League giants Juventus have been tipped by a supercomputer to Barcelona and lift this season's UEFA Champions League title on June 1, 2019.

The Old Lady travel to the Amsterdam Arena on Tuesday to battle Ajax in the first leg of their quarterfinal clash.
While the second leg is scheduled to hold next week at the Allianz Stadium as they hope to win their very first European title since 1995-1996 season.

Both sides last met in the same competition in November 2017, and the Catalan club were the better side after battling for supremacy over two legs.

Barca cruised to 3-0 win at Camp Nou in the first leg and forced the Italian side to goalless draw in the concluding part in Turin towards the end of the year back then.

According to Sportskeeda, the two teams are favourites to win the cup, but the Serie A champions will come out victorious at the end of the competition.

Massimiliano Allegri's men produced a dramatic comeback Atletico Madrid after coming back from a 2-0 loss in the first leg to secure quarterfinal ticket with a 3-0 win in the second leg.

This is how the Quarter Final results will be according to the computer:
Ajax 1-1 Juventus in the first leg while Juventus 2-0 Ajax in the second leg

Liverpool wins both the legs against Porto, with a 3-0 victory in the first leg and 1-2 in the second leg.

Spurs 1-1 Manchester City in the first leg while Manchester City wins 3-1 Spurs in the second leg.

Barcelona wins both the legs by the same margin, 2-1, against Manchester United.

The Supercomputer further predicts the result of Champions League semi-finals:
Manchester City 1-1 Juventus in the first leg, Juventus 2-1 Manchester City in the second leg.

Barcelona 2-1 Liverpool in the first leg, Liverpool 2-2 Barcelona in the next fixture.

Champions League final:
Juventus beats Barcelona by 2-1

A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to call out a Nigerian airline she accused of dropping it passengers halfway through flight.

The lady identified as @iamvic3 on twitter alleged that AeroContractors took them on a flight from Abuja to Warri, but ended the flight at Benin Airport, before hiring a car to take them on the rest of the journey by road.

She wrote:

Imagine paying for flight from Abuja to Warri only for AeroContractors to drop you at Benin airport then put you in a car to Warri Nigeria my country.

But while reacting to the post, a certain commentator mentioned that it is not a new occurrence as he has experienced such too, and it even happened in a developed country. Though he was eventually compensated.
