tradepunter:Tinubu supporters will swear on the life of their children and parents that you are Igbo. Wait for them, they are coming. |
If APC by any chance wins. Get ready for a full cycle of poor governance and blame shifting. The blame game has already started before the elections. |
If this poll plays out exactly as this. With the undecided voters divided in the same proportion as percentage votes garnered by that party in that zone. Then the election will go into a runoff. But the biggest red flag for Tinubu is that the SW that should give him a landslide or even a convincing majority has the undecided and undisclosed voters tally at 35% Even the traditional swing zone the NC has that same tally as 29% The SW just opened up as the biggest swing zone, and is up for grabs, if PDP and LP know what's up. |
BSdetective:When it comes to Nigerian political analysis. You need to look at the analysis with a neutral prism, free of bias. In Nigeria, most political analysis mostly serve as endorsements, and adverts to shore up a particular candidate and give him/her some credibility. And this election season a lot of them are everywhere. People translate their dreams and hopes into analysis. And that's pure balderdash. I reiterate, any political analyst that didn't know that Tinubu was favorite to win the APC ticket was either plainly biased or just clueless. And in the same vein any political analysis that deem him favorite to win the elections devoid of some malfeasance in the polls is plainly biased and clueless. Now I'm not saying that Tinubu doesn't stand a chance to win. But in a free and fair election devoid of violence, vote tampering, and vote buying, Tinubu is not favorite to win. Of course that he is not favorite doesn't mean he can't pull a surprise. |
UselessBuharist:"Do you resemble anyone they want to kill?", was his question. But your brain automatically translated it to a statement, "maybe you resemble who they want to kill" Both are not the same thing. But Nairaland people are always like that, they always take a question or a correction as an assault on their person are go into full war mode with the insults and abuses. |
This was why someone said, "if you want to marry a single mother whether divorced or never married, make sure the man that got her pregnant is late, else it will end in premium tears" This story just reechoed what he said. That the husband is a teacher and the baby daddy a wealthy business man is not the main attraction but that she married the husband out of convenience. |
If only Nigeria had been allowed to rise to it's full potential. |
UselessBuharist:You're the one asking for help and also the same person abusing someone who asked you a simple non abusive question. I just realized you were only trolling Nigeria with this your post. Nigeria is very trollable. So continue. |
You say you have some resentments towards some decisions you took while in secondary school. That information is embedded in your subconscious hence the reliving of it in your dreams. |
BSdetective:Any analyst that didn't know Tinubu was favorite to win the primaries shouldn't call themselves a political analyst. Maybe they must have been thinking of the Buhari factor, but what they didn't realize is that Buhari is not as firm as OBJ. And that was further confirmed, as the governors couped his choice candidate and ensured Tinubu clinched the ticket. But general elections is a different ball game all together. And Tinubu's best shot at winning is via rigging and it is appearing Buhari is not interested in hearing that. Hence, why Buhari has become the unnamed enemy numero uno. |
franchasng:I don't. He was privy to all the suffering imposed on the people by the APC government. But he said and did nothing, because he believed the people's vote will not count and the cycle of criminality during the General elections will continue. Sadly, he is beginning to realise that Buhari doesn't give a hoot about ensuring that APC remains in power. He may want APC to win, but it is not a do-or-die affair for him. And now Tinubu suddenly comes to the realization that the people matter. Hence, these recent narratives that make him sound like an opposition candidate. They say "the evil that men do lives after them", but in his case it is catching up with him. And come after the elections, I hope it catches up with him and live with him. |
Where did they see over 4 million eligible voters to poll? Obi will definitely win any online poll, that is for a fact. But elections is different from polls. Atiku is still the favourite. |
Ammmy:Before getting to the part of depositing "powerful" sperm inside you. The bolded section was where I knew there was a problem. A real man of God, will pray with you and commend you to God and God will deliver you. He never abrogates the glory of the deliverance or miracle to himself. That man has a spirit of divination and it is not of God. He is practicing diabolism. He is no different from the native doctor or babalawo. But we have seen women who were too simple minded and accepted such claims as valid, hence indulged in such regrettable act. The story of the heavily pregnant woman that was caught naked with her "pastor" in bed with some fetish looking things in the room comes to mind. The story goes that the woman was childless for several years and the so called pastor did some "prayers" (or more appropriately rituals) for her to conceive and needed to also do another of such before she could put to birth successfully. How women keep falling prey to such ridiculous schemes beats imagination. Don't go and become a prey to these "men of God" who don't know God. |
The hardware costs is the only limitation, if not, I can almost be certain that there would be an almost immediate widespread adoption of Starlink as the defacto ISP all across Nigeria. And being satellite technology, even the hinterlands are covered. MTN, Airtel and co can go and sit in the heap of dirt with their pathetic 4G that acts worse than 2G. |
Why are these people goading Wike to publicly show who he is supporting? Like you've never changed your mind before on some proposed plan? Are you God? |
Reloadedisraelp:You're wrong. Your different 6 chess games are not mutually exclusive. While the fact that you lost last 5 games might paint a picture that you're an amateur and is set to lose yet again. But, what if your 6th game is against your 4 years old son, who only has basic understanding of how the pieces move on the board. Does the fact that you lost the last 5 games have any bearing on losing the present game? |
VULCAN:The most painful thing is that he didn't start this narrative after he won the primaries. He only started it after it dawned on him that Buhari was not solidly behind him and couldn't care less if he won or lost. |
Buhari failed Nigerians woefully. There is no doubt about that. Under Buhari's administration there have been almost 5 fold inflation in prices of most recurrent goods. But Buhari didn't just fail, he failed in his first 4 years of government and Tinubu and APC said we should stomach that abysmal performance for yet another 4 years. And suddenly, Tinubu is realizing that Buhari failed Nigerians, because he sees that Buhari's body language shows he is not in support of him. Who does he think he wants to deceive with these narratives? I bet, if Buhari was solidly behind him, Buhari would have been a saint. Tinubu is selfish and egocentric. Being president is an ambition that has nothing to do with wanting to better the lots of Nigerians. Cos if it was, he would have said and done something all these while. |
asanausana91:And who will you bet is winning? One of the betting sites, I can't recall which gave Obi odds of about 7 to win the election. So I can supposedly bet 100k on that site that Obi will win. Which if he does they pay me 600k in profits, and conversely bet 200k with someone that Obi will lose. That's what they call betting arbitrage. So if Obi wins I had lost 200k (direct bet) and won 600k (betting site bet) with net profit of 400k But if Obi loses I had lost 100k (betting site bet) and won 200k with net profit of 100k. So either way, I am a winner. So it is not enough to tell me who won't win the election. Tell me who will win. |
Atiku still has the best chances, with or without Obi and Kwankwaso. |
Some are saying just 4 million naira. Not realizing that this 4 million was only uncovered in one bank branch. Now, let's assume there are 50 of such branches hoarding new notes. Is it still just 4 million? |
SadiqBabaSani: Bossman:It can actually be moved. It may not be as mobile as your pocket WIFI or your mobile broadband router. Just that you'll have to install it in each location you move to. Basically, the installation process is no different from installing DSTV and might be easier considering that the antenna is not as big as a dish. Just point to the satellite and mount and you're good to go. |
Nbote:There is no need for spreading. They are already everywhere in Nigeria. It is a satellite system. So if people in Sambisa forest acquire the hardware they can be watching Netflix HD without any interruption. |
Nigeria is the most populous nation in Africa. And the 7th most populous nation in the world. So it is no-brainer that Nigeria should be among the first countries for deployment. |
I came to read the comments of our Nairaland doctors without certificate. How someone thinks, that they can show someone a picture of a distressing health condition and expect diagnosis and treatment is beyond me. |
Imagine if 2 years ago, Buhari realized he had failed Nigerians and honorably resigned and handed over to Osibanjo. Tinubu would not have loved that though.😁😁 |
I like how confident INEC chairman sounds. I hope the election is free of violence. Things that can hamper with the fairness of the elections in order of importance. 1. Violence 2. Corruption of PO officials. 3. Unidentified glitches in the BVAS 4. Vote buying. |
The beginning is a very important time, especially when it comes to governance. Buhari started very poorly, the economy took a terrible turn and there were no technocrats in his administration to be able to reverse the dangerous trend from his very slow take off. And here we are 8 years later, worse off in every dimension than when he came on board. |
Price inflation made the #5, #10, #20 bills nonexistent. Sadly, Nigeria has a reputation that whatever goes up never comes down with respect to price inflation. I expected CBN to take out the #1000 and maybe #500 as a way to not only use money scarcity to curtail price inflation but also force cashless transactions. Imagine having to pay 1,000,000 and you'll need 100 bundles of #100. |
As a child I had too much fear in me to pull something like this off. |
