Atiku has been making a lot of political blunders.

Had he supported Jonathan in 2015, he would have probably taken over in 2019. But he ran to APC thinking he will defeat a whole Buhari (the king of the North)

A common denominator amongst all contestants in the election next month is, its their last battle in the political firld, whoever wins has sent all others to their political retirement..its a winner wins all.

Obi won't win a rerun against Atiku neither will Tinubu.

Atiku will be heavy favorite if this ends in a rerun with either of the two.

The SE and SS would rather vote for Atiku (if they even bother with voting) than APC, and that is why Tinubu will most definitely lose a rerun against Atiku.

A strong Kwankwaso will favour Obi because then there would be no Northern bloc votes going to anyone.

But there is also the problem of winning at least 25% votes in at least 24 states.

This election might be going into a runoff eventually if care is not taken. And when that happens, Atiku would definitely be in the runoff and is favorite to win.

What Tinubu will not steal does not exist.

To be honest, if you read what happened, you'll understand why the police is saying this.

From what we heard, it was a stop and search operation. The police man was said to have asked them to pull over. As they were waiting for the car in front of them to move so that they could park well, the unfortunate incident happened.

I mean, there was no justification whatsoever for him to have done that. The first thing that came to my mind when I read that story was accidental discharge of firearm.

The story went further to say that the suspect also threatened to shoot the sister of the deceased. Asin, does that look ordinary? I think he panicked or something like that.

Honestly, I feel for both families. The family of the deceased for losing a loved one and the family of the suspect for the shame and misery he brought to them. Thirty three years of service all gone down the drain in split seconds. He's definitely going to spend a long time in prison.

I know we're angry and disappointed. But after all the emotions, let's sit down to properly analysed what might have happened. Let's temper Justice with mercy.

Would I have said this if she was my loved one? I don't know.

In response to the bolded section of your post. I knew the moment I read the story that the man was definitely under the influence of alcohol and probably hard drugs at the time of the incident.

Then few days later, someone I know was talking about the case and guess what? She knew the man several years ago, and worked with him for a while. She told me the man will come to work most mornings reeking of alcohol.

Most people who feel the need to drink alcohol in the morning are usually alcoholics. In psychological evaluation of alcohol dependence it is called an "eye opener".

How on earth a police officer on duty with access to a lethal weapon could be an alcoholic is a systemic problem in the NPF.

But be it manslaughter or murder, the man is responsible for his actions and should pay for it.

When a man's criminal actions can be defended as being under a spell by a police spokesman. When you think you have heard it all.

It is finished.

Shame no dey catch Nigerian police at all.

Actually my focus is not on what the pastor plans to do.

I am not even a proponent of such open prophecies that serve to create stigma around the people who are prophesied to. Personally, something as sensitive as this matter should have been handled privately, if I were the one involved. But again none of that is my concern.
