Nice one Spectro! That was explicit and reassuring! What will be will be! Cheers bro Spectro: My candid advice to all those waiting for IRCC Visa application decision.
I have observed that they are reviewing older applications such as those from October all the way to January, while also reviewing some February applications.
I suspect there's backlog.
Seems like decision time may be longer than we all thought... (I mean for March, April, and May applicants).
Hence, it is advisable that you completely take your mind off it and do something productive.
I am a very busy man with multiple projects and personal businesses. Canada is not my God. Do not make it your God. If God wants it to pull through, it will, and there is nothing the devil can do about it. And if it's not God's will, then search for God's will.
Don't make life unnecessarily hard for yourself. Focus on doing the will of God and be productive.
Canada is just another country... It's not Heaven.
May God's will be done. |

Woow...congratulations. The wait wasn't in vain! Baphil: PPR HERE!!!
Good morning everyone. I have come to give thanks to God again!!!!! He deserves all the praise.
I helped my friend apply for a January admission on the 5th of October 2020 and her BVL and PPR just came in this morning at 10:41am and 10 43am. I cannot begin to say the kind of emotions this application has raised in our hearts. We waited, we wrote, we did all things expected till we just resigned into God's hands.
She even started online classes thinking it would come very soon - for where? She went through so much stress!!! Oh!!!
I just burst into tears when I opened the mail; the waiting was not in vain!
Her timeline is as follows: Submission - 5th October 2020 Biometrics - 16th October 2020 NSE Request Letter - 19th November 2020 Upfront Medical passed - 2nd December 2020 BVL & PPR - 22nd April 2021
She did not meet up with the NSE Request but when it was taking too long, I just went ahead to submit an expired underscored IELTS of hers in March 2021. I wrote scores and scores of letters, so many webforms - I lost count! We also requested for her GCMS notes and everything seemed in order and positive and so we relaxed a bit.
October Applicants, get ready, it's raining PPR!!! Your worries and tears are being wiped away!!!
I will post the documents I submitted for her in a while.
Praise God with us!!!! |

That's good news... Have you done your upfront medicals or you're waiting for ircc to send MER Cheers sirenoel: Good evening evening. I've been following this thread for a while. Thank you all for the information shared.
My eligibility review finally started today. First time applicant. Applied on the 31st of December, 2020. Biometrics captured and updated on 4th of January, 2021. Didn't get NSE request.
Hopefully this gives someone an update as to where IRCC are on the applications.
Wish all hopefuls all the best. As always, it shall end in praise. |

Hello Spectro... Did u apply via NSe or did u get NSE request letter? Btw...I submitted a day after u Spectro: I submitted my application a few days before you did (11th March)
Biometrics was given on 15th March.
Medical request letter hasn't been sent yet. But eligibility review started on 29th March.
I've gotten three ghost updates since then, but it's difficult to tell if they are pointers or just mere glitches. |

Thanks Just Mellow A letter of consent has already been written It shall end in praise JustMellow: Hello Dolex86,
There is no harm including it, but since your husband is in the picture, there might be no need. Your spouse can simply write a letter acknowledging his consent for your study and reference your mother's responsibility to the kids in it.

Thanks Justmellow, My mum will be staying with the kids with the support of my husband Is the Affidafit still necessary? Thank you JustMellow: Hello Dolex86,
The best approach is to get your friends to send the funds to either of your parent. Thereby, the funds will be transferred to you from the account with the narrative – Study Support Funds for my Daughter in Canada. A Deed Gift can be easily drafted out as evidence to tackle the lump sum.
On the other note, you mum can depose a Sworn Affidavit of Custody Declaration from a Notary Public or High Court. In the affidavit, the financial budget for the children's upkeep, and other financial commitment for their wellbeing should be stated therein.
Best of Luck |
