This days whenever I see a girl, I don't see big boobs, nice shape or ass, all I see is bills. Things are fast getting out of hand to the point flirting has become a luxury an average Nigerian youth cannot afford anymore.

Many years ago as a teneger I was falsely accused of rape and child molestation. That very day remains the worst and longest day of my life.

Half way to the bush I looked at my back and saw the girl, I was very angry so took a cane flogged her and sent her back.

As she was crying while going home, one evil woman saw her and took her to her mother shouting that I have raped the little girl. She said I took the girl to the bush raped her and send her back.
The little girl was confused and was jus crying. The worst part was that they opened her pussy and concluded that I truly raped her, they said her pussy was slightly reddish in colour instead of pink which was evident that I penetrated.

I felt like dying on the spot, I was consumed with shame so terribly that I started stammering and because of my lack of composure nobody believed my story, I didn't sound convincing at all and so I was already receiving random slaps.

Growing up in the east i developed the mindset that Igbos hate yourba and Yorubas hate igbos even when I was yet to have any personal dealings with any yourba person.

Then back in those days, some Yoruba boys came to my hood for a tiling job, this guys were very nice to us we were nice to them as well. We became friends to the extent that even after their job was done, they had to spend an extra one week with us. I was now like maybe they are different breed of yourba people.

Fast forward to my service year, Infact when I was posted to Yoruba land I was scared, I was jus asking myself how can I survive amidst this people that will hate me because am Igbo? But when I got there it was a different story, my landlord refused to collect rent from me because according to him when he served in the East many years ago they were very nice to him.

This is my 4th year in yourba land, am yet to see anyone that hate me nor anyone I hate. Please if you have problem with chukwudi or with kehinde, let your anger be directed to them alone. Don't condemn a whole tribe that ranges in millions all because of the microscopic few that wronged you and before you say Igbos hate yourbas or Yourbas hate igbos, ask yourself how many of them do you hate personally?
