Christianity EtcRe: Jehovah's Witness Dies After Rejecting Blood Transfusion by dollarlander: 9:33pm On Mar 24, 2015
micodon:
please do read ur Bible. Leviticus 17 : 11, 12 clearly shows that the blood represents a life. thus,, it is sacred. it clearly states that blood shouldnt be taken in.

Acts 15: 29 clearly commands that Christians should keep abstaining from blood.

have you read these scriptures before? please do with an open mind
Brother, I get your point very clear. But what you need to find out is the use of blood in these instances you mentioned. You need to do research about what the idolaters use blood for and why they drink blood.

Also, the Leviticus you quoted has been over ruled by Jesus christ when he shed his blood because he came to establish a new covenant hence the abolishment of the old. In the old, blood of animal is used for sacrifice for sin, but the death of Jesus christ made a new covenant with humanity. Hebrew 9:16 or read the entire chapter.

To cap it all Jesus said in his teachings that we must drink his blood and eat his flesh. John 6:53, verily, verily I say unto you, except ye eat the flesh of the son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

54 whoso eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood hath eternal life and I will raise him up at the last day.

55 for my flesh is meat indeed and my blood is drink indeed.

56 he that eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood dwelleth in me and I in him.

So there is life in the blood. Though the blood Jesus is talking here is spiritual. There is no place you can mention in the bible that's against blood transfusion. A life is dying and the life can get a life in another blood to live.

There is no example that can be laid than a friend laid than his life that others might live. It is what Jesus has shown by example. So giving a life in my blood that others might live, even when im still living, is an example already demonstrated by Jesus.

Stephen and other followers of Christ died because of their beliefs? would u call them foolish? Remember when Jesus said that whoever wants to save his soul will lose it? whoever loses his soul on account of being a follower of Christ will gain it by bn resurrected.......
Did Jesus tell you not to take transfused blood? Show me where it is in the bible. My wife is alive today after the birth of our second born because I donated my blood to her. If I have accepted stupid teachings like this may be i will be a widower by now and who will take care of my children.

You need to wash your brain off some human wisdom.

Also, do you guys take holy communion and if you don't take why?

All this nonsense you post and not one thing about the topic? Not one thing to support how Buhari can do this? You start your nonsense by attacking me but now that I respond you can't take it?

A beg shut up and sit down if you can't contribute anything intelligent
So you joined Nairaland this year January, because you think you have something intellectual to contribute in this forum. Your aim is to have platform to attack buhari who ruled Nigeria when you were never born and whose intention is to help build you a nation void of corruption so that for ones you can live as a human being in a place you call your country.

A 13 year old boy came to me, he said daddy please help me vote buhari, I said can you convince me 5 reasons why I should vote buhari he said he did not know there was a man who is capable of putting all these big men, who are stealing Nigeria money, in prison and collect all our stolen wealth from them. I was short of words.

If a 13 years old boy, who wasn't born in the 80's when 1$ was 1.44 naira could reason that way how much more you that is an adult should have reasoned provided you are in your right senses.

Buhari has his facts to propel naira back to where it was before corruption was legalised in Nigeria.

All he needs to do is to make war against corrupt people like you. Collect all the billions of dollars you have stolen and place them back in reserve. If this is done within one year alone, you won't believe where naira value will be.

Then restructure economy from hyper dependence on oil and stop exporting crude oil and importing refined products.

Assuming that you are a normal human being, a normal Nigerian who desire to live like a king in his own country. At least I lived before 80s and I know what it is to live when things are good. You will support agenda that diversifies economy and reenergise all sectors of economy for growth.

The shale oil in America will kill many economies around the world who depend on oil to survive. The oil money will continue to fall and American dollar will continue to be stronger because they are self sufficient in the area of oil.

Nigeria naira will continue to depreciate as long as we cannot refine our oil and distribute ourselves which cannot be sufficient for our local consumption because of our local demand

Bros, don't allow politicians who lived before you give you inverted stories that will continue to deplete your life as a Nigeria citizen. You can live better than this if you have a leader with the right focus like buhari.

I'm waiting for your reply. I dey house for you this morning.

Flets:
If by chance Buhari wins this election, extremely hard times lies ahead for this country.

Definitely, the creeks will go haywire again, Buhari will send the troops to the creeks and together they will set the oil facilities ablaze.

While these persists, the oil producing companies will simply withdraw their personnel from the volatile region and all foreign investment will seize in all sectors. And even if the troops kill 90% of the militants, it will take just one militant, a dynamite and just one location along the multi- kilometre trunklines to continue to wreck havoc.

Fast forward to 2019, if we remain one country and without a civil war,, we will be an economic wreck with no allocations and salaries, no capital projects, no hope with dollar exchanging for 400 naira and we are worse off than we were in 2015.

Cos the truth is that without crude proceeds for now, Nigeria is finished.

And then, we'll be screaming another 'Change' because we would have learnt a bitter lesson in the hands of the Fulanis, Tinubu and Saraki. And then we will ask.... Why were we this silly?

And before you quote me, make sure you outline in clear terms how you or Buhari will avert this obvious calamity staring us in the face

Only last week, they creek boys seem to have resumed activities by kidnapping at Yoho facility operated by Exxonmobil and have shut in 80KBD already. Are we ready for this for the next 4 years?

The entire world stands to benefit from a crisis in the Niger delta. Its not a coincidence that USA who abandoned us at the height of bokoharam is busy shouting for change in govt . Crises in the ND will reduce supply of crude to the Oil market and that would drive up the price of crude for producing countries.... But at Nigeria's expense.

Nigerians.... Be Warned!!!
I know that they haven't born your father and mother during Nigeria civil war. Ask your grand parents what is civil war?

You are drumming the drum of civil war, roll out the drums and see if you will be there to dance to the tune.

Forget guru maharaji. Of what benefit has he contributed to Nigeria. He is an old fool. GEJ has distributed the dollars to him that's why he is prophesying those things. We have 5-6 days to go.

I'm not exaggerating! I just want this to end.
End the relationship with his son and look for another suitor, provided you have no e track affinity with your boyfriend.

Because if you tie up anything with the father you will eventually be disgraced. The father may even want to use sex with you for ritual purpose.

The father-son relationship will remain for ever but you will be shown the way out of their family. The father will even tell the son you seduced him and cook all sorts of lies against you.

You better be careful the house you put your head into without praying properly.

CultureRe: Where Did Nigerians Get That Superiority Complex From? by dollarlander: 5:41pm On Mar 15, 2015
Well from my personal point of view, I personally developed my superiority complex because I know who I am in christ. 2. I want the whites to believe that they are in no way superior to black man, they can switch off their brain I give no damn who they are.

And this is what's keeping Nigerians above those beasts that call themselves racists. Nigerians don't see other neibouring fellow blacks as inferior but they need to see themselves as on no way second fiddle to the white men. They are just products of opportunities, I can bet it with you, there is nothing special about white men. Their shi.ts smell worse than black man's.

Anytime I'm outside Africa, I'm always proud to tell them I'm a Nigerian. Especially when I'm in non English speaking European nation. I introduce myself in their shops and tell them what I want to buy. I give them big shi.ts when they look at me one kind after introducing myself.

Most of them did not even go to university as most Nigerians do. Some of them went to college and are good at what they do. So there's nothing special about them.

The only thing I pray we get right in Africa is leadership also loyalty. Once we are there, they will beg to trade with us. Look they gat nothing special than you, believe this and walk in your pride. Mother Africa has blessed her children.

Waho I like this. A dog that is going to disappear will not hear the hunter's whistle.

Jonathan is a criminal. He made money from all fronts criminally. From awarding billions of dollar contract to militants sharing the money with them, escorting berges of stolen Nigeria crude oil with naval gun boats putting from the office of the first lady in front and back of the escort. Laundering Nigerian money thru the office of frog eyed minister of petroleum, partnering in crime with oil importers to import nothing and get paid and share percentage with presidency for election. Politicising boko haram, to wait till closing to election to be able to score cheap political point when he had wasted thousands of lives and millions displaced, and made money to his account through frauds around weapon purchase. Wait these are criminals in power.

As a result of these vices, many students will be out of school because their parents will soon lose their jobs especially those in the banking, oil and gas, civil service and this will degenerate to other sectors of economy.

From my little experience, the only person that has ever resolved this similar case was BUHARI. And I believe God has seen nigeria, that he loved so much, degenerating to this sh.it, he placed BUHARI when we need him so much.

The bible says God who have used the foolish things of this world to confound the wise. Most of the Christians that believe that BUHARI is a moslem and Moslem cannot rule them should have a rethink.

With your future running into shambles by the cluelessness of your perceived saint you had better rethink and dump clueless man and his shi.t cabinet.

PoliticsRe: Nigeria Faces Post-election Gloom: Treasury Emptied, Oil Marketers Owed N450b, M by dollarlander(op):
dollarlander:
A disaffected insider within President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration as well as several banking executives have told SaharaReporters that Nigeria faces a deep economic crisis and massive social gloom after the 2015 general elections. Speaking from different perspectives, the sources said President Jonathan had virtually vacuumed the Nigerian treasury to serve his re-election campaign, leaving Nigerian banks in dire straits and many states on the verge of failing to pay salaries this month.

“The truth is that Mr. President has almost emptied the treasury, and some of us close to him are even beginning to get worried about what will happen after the election,” said the political insider.

The bankers echoed the sentiment. “The reason the naira has taken such a dramatic plunge over the last three or so months is that politicians moped up the hard currency for elections,” said one banker. “I have never seen anything on this scale, where politicians snatch up every hard currency in sight, whether dollar, Euro or pound sterling,” he added. Asked who was primarily responsible for the situation, the banker said he would not engage in partisanship. “All I know is that this country is now in a frightening economic position—and all these politicians running up and down to retain or take power have created the situation,” he asserted.

But another banker was not shy in pointing a finger at Mr. Jonathan. “The president has been indifferent to the economic crisis caused by the ongoing campaigns. And the reason he is indifferent is that he is the major culprit,” said the executive. He added that the distribution of largesse by Mr. Jonathan had now become “one of the few lucrative businesses in Nigeria.”

The bankers said massive layoffs were inevitable in the banking and other sectors of the Nigerian economy. They said numerous companies that depended on imported machinery or other components sourced from abroad were bleeding cash. “Many Nigerian companies are experiencing severe cash flow problems. Many of them are defaulting on long and short-term loan repayments. So the banks are suffering heavily as well,” one banker told SaharaReporters.

Two of the bankers disclosed that the banking industry would have laid off thousands of workers, but that officials of the Jonathan administration pressured them to wait until after the elections. “It will take a long time before banks recover from the current shocks in the system. There’s no bank strong enough not to retrench staff,” one said.

The stress in the banking sector, with the prospective job losses, will be compounded by massive retrenchment in the civil service at the Federal and state levels, one source predicted. Our source inside the Presidency revealed that Mr. Jonathan plans to follow former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s style by removing fuel subsidies as one of his first economic acts. “The truth is that it’s a must that fuel subsidy has to go because the money is not there to continue [paying for] them,” he said.

As part of an arrangement to receive slush funds from oil marketers, Mr. Jonathan and Ms. Alison-Madueke allowed numerous marketers to make fraudulent claims and get paid for importation they never made. That criminal collusion has put Nigeria in a situation where the oil marketers are being owed N450 billion. “Nigeria will have to deal with this and other debts from fraudulently inflated invoices once the elections are over,” one banker said.

The scam also helped create a recent fuel scarcity in the country. As the fuel situation threatened to become a politically costly crisis, Mr. Jonathan asked the oil marketers to offload fuel they had been “round-tripping” in order to collect unearned subsidy payments.

Bankers agreed that the government would find it extremely difficult to pay that debt after the election without rolling back or eliminating subsidies altogether. In recent months, oil marketers as well as operators of the privatized power sector received massive financial handouts from the Jonathan administration. In turn, they donated billions of naira to Mr. Jonathan’s re-election campaign.

President Jonathan has gone on a dollar-spraying spree since the general elections were postponed by six weeks. Our sources disclosed that the president had doled out more than $200 million, using generous cash gifts to entice various traditional rulers, politicians and activists, especially those in the southwest and parts of the north, to endorse him.

Several sources said much of the president’s campaign cash is from shady oil deals brokered by Petroleum Minister Diezani Alison-Madueke. The massive theft of Nigeria’s crude oil remains an open scandal, and one of the richest sources of funds for the campaigns. Last September, Al Jazeera reported that the theft of Nigeria’s crude oil was at its highest rate in years, adding that several hundred thousand barrels of crude are stolen each day.

The continuing crisis of crude oil thefts has persisted despite the Jonathan administration’s security contract to Global West Specialist Agency, a company owned by Government Ekpemukpolo (popularly called Tompolo). The contract to Mr. Tompolo’s company was for the supply of 20 patrol vessels to enable Nigeria’s military authorities to better secure the coastline and stem oil theft. Mr. Tompolo’s firm was also engaged as a consultant to prevent crude oil heists.

The rating firm of Standard & Poors yesterday said that the Nigerian economy faced a clear and present danger. Nigeria’s external reserves have been significantly depleted in the past year, said a banker, adding that many state governments were already looking for loans to pay workers’ salaries
Nigeria is doomed. Oil boom has become oil doom. Good luck now badluck. The only solution to stop this madness is GMB/PYO.

I can't imagine that shepopotamous who is bleeding nigerian oil on daily basis talking conductor and change. Senseless PIG.

Nigeria’s external reserves have been significantly depleted in the past year, said a banker, adding that many state governments were already looking for loans to pay workers’ salaries

but u no get sense sha...first U didn't vote for GEJ, don't lie. Secondly, don't compare GEJ's intellectual prowess to that of an illiterate.(I don't want to argue certificate and failing military exams). Finally, University wouldn't have offered him a Doctorate degree if he didn't meet all requirements. I think GMB is the one who will go to jail after his trial for lying under oath. Don't quote me so that you don't expose your stupidity further.
See this mumu, all universities in SS will offer anybody any degree if you can pay the money. Don't let me talk. Even you, your qualification is questionable.

I swear Suswan is a pig, he has done nothing at all us, for d past 8years(i'm from Benue).

Come to Benue and you'll know the real definition of 'suffering and smiling'

-No roads. You'll only find dual carriage road(s) in Makurdi, the state capital.

-Having light for five straight hours is like a dream come through.

-water nko? U must be joking.

-Lecturers with the state poly and college of Edu. have been on strike for the past seven months, they just suspended the strike two weeks bck and i'm sure the fat retard is still owing them.

Benue state cant not be compared with other state cus of its backwardness. People are still living in thatched houses, some villages in Benue dont even have electricity. People are still fetching and drinking from spirogyra infested stream water. Chaiii!!!!!!!!!

Benue is a failed state and the stu:pid governor..............make i no tok.
Benue state had failed before it was created. The level of sexual engagement in that state is terrible. In gboko when there is a burial, at night they will spread mat, come and see fuc.k, every style. Even those old age women who no longer have teeth, will bend down like dogs and open yanch for available dick to enter.

In their dictionary there is no fornication. You guys need to revisit your ancestors view about sexualization. You guys are dogs that's why your leaders that supposed to develop your state think of nothing but how many people they will bang a day.

I pity u. Their girls, they don't see corpers, they will just hang on the corper and give him the fuc.k of his life. Gospel has not deeply enter the Tiv, Idoma people.
