I think it is high time we began radical Christianity all over the world. If it is an imam that did this all the mumu at Nairaland will either edit the headlines or will not make front page.

I think I will have to lead radicalised Christianity on social media especially this ethno religious sided Nairaland of a forum.

We may need to start making popular other forums that are friendly and not siding any religion against another.

Seun i know you very well, even though your parents are from Ilesa and they decided to stay in ota, they are christian and you decided to stay afloat, does not mean you should employ religious sided fellow to run Nairaland for you.

Please Seun, as you designed Islam section do also for Christian or else your site will start the worst war ever experienced. The fact that Christian decided to be quiet doesn't mean we cant fight. The children of Israel while rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem did with equipping themselves with swords.

The Catholic knights are soldiers that defend worshippers while the service is going on. The children of Israel fought against the amalekites and their history was no more.

All these jihadists are amalekites and they will expire just like the biblical amalekites. Nairaland be very careful with the use of your headlines. You are looking for troubles and I promise you will find it.

If you like remove my handle from your forum I will create 20 others and continue my campaign. Mtcheww

lol...well let's see how he will be able to manage the economy. Moreover,it hasn't been easy to contain any form of militancy on earth, check it! Even the world super powers find it difficult....Listen,he may succeed in killing and arresting the leaders but what about the thousands of those they gave birth to? The whole thing will escalate,it will be a big distraction cos resources ment for development will be channelled to fighting them, some other money minded soldiers will see it as a business venture and sabotage the fight, foreigners who have the technical know how will leave, and the economy will be so bad. As these are happening,,BH guys whom he has made us understand won't be that easy to crush will be fanning their well known gift into flame up there. As he keeps on engaging in the show of his tetosterone prowess north and south time will be going, years moving fast. He is being overwhelmed....
The US and UK he tought are supporting him will be happy cos the crisis serves their unchanging ultimate interest, the splitting of the country into fragments.Bro, as a person, a little crisis can escalate and take different forms, divert to different directions and different from the one u used to know and before u know it,its difficult for u to manage no matter how strong u think u are. So Its wise and better to prevent such than source for cure cos it may take years to cure and even if u finally do,u v ended up leaving a lot undone. Come to think of it,they might v already put somethings on ground at sensitive places that when hit, will affect the nation adverslly for the next two and half years, if the programme is discontinued. This is my own personal assumption anyway....
Well you really made me to understand some truth but no matter how true they may be we need to do things in the right way. Its going to be difficult to make things right in Nigeria especially if you read the views of the Niger deltans you will realise that they are living in the past, its not their own making but by the power that have encapsulated them.

What I think we should do us to invest heavily in the development of the Niger delta region. They have given too much to this nation. Giving the money to a set of militant will not help the region develop.

They should not leave the development of the region into their hand. History has proven that they will squander the money.

Yes, Ndigbos are the lost house of Israel. They are very gifted and powerful set of race but their affinity to idols and putting Jesus and mother Mary to cover their faces is the foundation of their problem.

I respect Ndigbos, I expected that they are supposed to be followed not for them to be following. Ibos need to wake up from their slumber.

What they need to do is this. They should go back to their ancestral lands with all the wealth they have acquired all over Nigeria and the world and develop their homes. Let everybody travel down to where they are to trade with them.

Go back home and develop your own alaba market, where you can pirate even human part without any law catching you, create your Nollywood or Ndigbowood where you can release any movie without sensor, develop your democracy and make life bearable for yourselves and leave Lagos for the Yoruba people.

PoliticsRe: You Must Run Far From OBJ If You Want To Succeed As President, Owie Tells Buhari by dollarlander: 10:03am On Apr 16, 2015
lalasticlala:
Former Senate Chief Whip, Rowland Owie, has advised president-elect, Muhammadu Buhari to be wary of former President Olusegun Obasanjo if he desired to succeed as Nigeria’s leader.

In a statement in Benin City, capital of Edo State, yesterday, Owie said: “To Buhari, I thank God for you, but you must deliver on your promises and also build on what president Jonathan did.

“Above all, you must run far from OBJ! (Olusegun Obasanjo). If he can’t control your government, he will fight you.

“He has done it to all former presidents of Nigeria and even against MKO Abiola who was not sworn in.

“Never! never! I say never discuss with OBJ unless you have at least two of your aides present!”

“Half way into the tenure of President Goodluck Jonathan, a man who sees nothing good in anybody, except himself, Obasanjo, started trouble making by naming presidential and vice-presidential candidates.

“First, it was Governor Sule Lamido as president and Governor Rotimi Amaechi as his Deputy! A respectable Lamido, a founding father of PDP, was being urged to fight PDP.

“Obasanjo lured most PDP governors in the North into rebellion against the PDP to destroy the platform that gave all of them relevance, including himself. The hate mood in the North for this election against Jonathan was such that, any candidate from the North would have won the election.

“The anger was that power must return to the North. Nigerians can see that rebellion against one’s own and betrayer of one’s party doesn’t pay.

“Governor Aliyu Babangìda of Niger State, who led the rebellion against Jonathan and the PDP, lost his election to the Senate and also lost his state,” Owie added.

Owie congratulated Nigerians and President Jonathan over the peaceful polls. “I congratulate Nigerians for their commitment to democracy and particularly, congratulate President Goodluck Jonathan, for choosing to go the ‘Way of The Cross’, by quickly conceding defeat in this election which averted the impending chaos that would have enveloped the nation.

“Only those who believe in God and live life that protects his or her live and also value life.

“No child born in the street, lives on the street permanently without parental love, can keep life.

“Nigeria would have been burning now particularly in the North. Keen observers of events in Nigeria since the 2011 general election, will agree that the Boko Haram activities escalated in Nigeria when the president was elected.

“Innocent citizens, mainly Christians, were murdered and churches burnt down. Why? Yes! Politicians and non-politicians, mainly in the North, believed that a Northerner should have replaced Jonathan in 2011 to continue with the late Yar’Adua’s tenure.”

Owie therefore called on PDP members across the country to wake up so that the party can be rebuilt

“When Our Lord Jesus Christ was crucified and buried on the Good Friday, nobody, apart from the mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary, knew that Christ would rise from the grave on the third day. PDP shall rise again,” he said.

PoliticsRe: How Obasanjo Destroyed PDP (2) - VANGUARD by dollarlander: 9:58am On Apr 16, 2015
Jonathan failed because he destroyed the Oil and Gas industry. He made the business very unbearable to the IOCs and thus they began to sell off their assets and Jonathan and His wife and cronies bought them with Federal Government's money.

The IOCs began to let go their staff by sacking them enmass. An Oil and Gas staff is a pillar to more than 10 family members. So the effect of Jonathans greed has tremendous effect trickled down to the grass root and affected many so badly. He planned for his self demise. I don't pity him.

I pray that Baba Buhari will probe all the Oil and Gas mismanagement and take back all they have stolen.

Abayhormy:
Yes, looking @ this man Gej, I just wonder why he allowed over confidence of the PDP ruling party/ power thing to prevent him from being grateful for the love that we showed him in 2011 polls.

I am Yoruba and a Christian, I wholeheartedly and lovingly voted for Jonathan in 2011, Against buhari and all other candidates, I was particularly happy when Atiku lost to him in the PDP primaries; but Alas, his performance especially in the aspect of corruption/impunity made me changed my mind concerning him because I was disappointed. Now I voted against him just like every true lover of our nation's progress will. But what we get from mischievous PDP is inciting our brothers from SS & SE to believe their "brother" was betrayed.

This is unfair for millions of southwesterners and even Northcentral/ Middlebelt Nigerians that truly believed in Gej and was on His side to herald the fact that a South South candidate must be given Nigeria's support to rule Nigeria, and hence voted him(In 2011).

Our South East Brothers especially are really getting it all wrong.

It was never about the West backing a Northern agenda. They argue the West did not criticize Obasanjo.

The level of awareness now in 2015 is different from the level of awareness as at 2003 when Obasanjo contested for second term. The social media was not yet alive then. Facebook was created in 2004, somany of the other blogs and our flexible access to the Internet came latter too.

Even then(2003), so many people dint have access to independent news broadcast like Channels & others. How many people had Dstv then, MAJORITY were all stuck to NTA, and thus cannot be really informed on the wrongs of Obasanjo. I repeat again, the level of awareness now is different from then.

Let's not give the Devil a chance. With proper leadership, we All need each other. One of the biggest Deposit of Iron ore in the world(said to be better than Japan's own) is in Ajaokuta(Kogi state-North central), Somany food items we need and consume are most suitably grown on the savannah soil of the farther North(E.g, Beans, Onions, groundnut, etc), The West has the only suitable land for cocoa, the major survival resource of the largest and most successful French speaking African country- Ivory coast. Oil deposits was discovered in Lagos, but no adequate commitment yet from any of our government to conduct more research and expand our oil deposit base the way US did recently and they stopped needing our oil.

Gold deposit is in Ilesa-South West. Gold is the leading natural resource of South Africa which many of us run to en mass for greener pastures, Tin is in Jos, Coal is in Enugu, Oil is in South South, How many can I mention? We ALL Need Each Other.

I Pray God will give us Unity, and Proper leadership, which we Lack, Need, Which I Crave For, and which informed many Nigerians Political Choice for Change in the recent past elections. May God Almighty Help us. Amen.
Even Nairaland was launched in 2005. Seun was in Obafemi Awolowo University studying Elect/Elect when Obasanjo became Presidet in 2009 and 2003 Seun was in his final year.

The level of awareness that we have today was not there 15 years ago. How many phones can connect to Internet in Nogeria even 8 years ago? But now we have more than 70Million phones connection to the Internet and over 200million computers on the Internet.

I really agree with this poster. God will use this same Internet to foster unity among all the ethnic groups in Nigeria and I believe it is going to happen during Baba Buhari's government. Because most of the things the politicians make us to believe are not possible will be done by baba and the point of discussion will gradually begin to change and we will all be happy with each other again.

But I want to sound one point of warnings to all Non Indigenes living in Rivers state to be very careful, especially the Yorubas. Because I see the Rivers Indigenes wagging war against non Indigenes and asking them to go back to their state. Except the Federal Government intervene it may go out of hands.

PoliticsRe: Yoruba, Source Of APC's Success In Elections — Gov. Al-Makura by dollarlander: 12:05pm On Apr 15, 2015
chiefinalowo:
NASARAWA State governor and governor-elect, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura, on Tuesday, said the Yoruba race was behind the success recorded by the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the just-concluded general election in the country.

The governor, who made this assertion at the Presidential Lodge in Lafia, the state capital, while receiving Yoruba community in the state, led by its president, Afeez Adigun, stressed that the role played by the tribe during the merger process of all opposition parties could not be quantified in terms of naira and kobo.

He stressed further that apart from monumental achievements of APC-led governments in various states, which resorted to the success of the party during the elections, Nigerians were truly yearning for change, due to competence and trust they have in the president-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari.

Al-Makura, who said he would forever remain grateful to Yoruba race, especially the role it played during his re-election, said despite that the people were not from the state, they appreciated projects executed by his administration in the past three and a half years.

Earlier, the leader of the group, who is also the special assistant to the governor, Adigun, said Al-Makura’s enthusiasm for the developmental stride in the state prompted the community to give him and other APC candidates unalloyed supports during the elections.

The aim of the Yoruba is to integrate all ethnical components of Nigeria into one fold.

Its going to take time but it will happen one day.

The best option is General BUHARI being the president elect. This will foster bright future for Nigeria.

President goodluck Jonathan would have been the best performed president Nigeria ever produced, but the role of his wife, patience Jonathan, Allison maduekwe played in his government caused the ruins.

As at December 2014, I was ardent supporter of GEJ. But late last year I changed because Nigeria need change seriously.

So if you cannot write effective letter before you left secondary school and they have to teach you in the university then you have problem. Chikena.
