Very interesting. I believe that globally, there is going to be a shaking of the world. There will be earthquakes in some places. There might be famine in places they never knew famine, and flooding in places they didn’t expect. For Nigeria, the Lord showed me, who will win the election. I will not men­tion his name, because I have to be politically neutral. But when the president’s name is an­nounced, 20 percent of a certain part of the nation will not agree. Eventually, after ne­gotiation they will. We will agree that we’re one. Wales is only 400,000 people or about a million people. They call them a nation, and they call Yorubas who are 27 million a tribe, the Igbo who are 18 million you call them a tribe. For us to have many nations that make up Nigeria, it was God that made it happen. And that prophetic mandate still remains on Nigeria. Anyone who incites people to di­vide this nation will lose his chance. Nigeria will remain one. After all the noise, you will be amazed that also some politicians will be shocked, nobody will be ready to die for them. There will be peace in Nigeria after the elec­tion. I see a man who will one day rise, but I don’t know when, I don’t think it’s up to 10 years though . He will turn the fortunes of Ni­geria round. Nigeria will look like one of these advancing nations like United Arab Emirates , India, and China. That is how Nigeria will be.

You can sell that propaganda to anyone but a thinking person, this propaganda is the cheapest and the most unthoughtful by people who use it.

1) If Gen. Buhari had been a fundamentalist, he would have Islamized Nigeria the very first time he became the head of state and had all the military power. A time when no one could tell him what to do or what not to do.
I was a young man in Nigeria at the time of his presidency and I remember clearly the kind of awe and fear everyone had for his government. Almost nobody could stop him from doing whatever he wanted to do at that time. So if he had wanted to Islamize Nigeria why didn’t he do it then? Remember that both Gen. Buhari and his deputy Gen. Tunde Idiagbon were committed Muslims, yet they did not Islamize Nigeria. So it is ludicrous to bring forth this argument in a democratic setting.
Hello my dear, propagandists of the theory of Gen. Buhari been an Islamic fundamentalist, why didn’t he turn Nigeria into a Muslim state when he had all the power in a non-democratic system of Government? If he didn’t do that when he had all the 3 arms of government, the legislative, executive and judiciary in his hands, What makes you think he would be able to do that now? Even if he has that intention now, when he has just one arm of government, the executive in his hands, he still cannot with such a formidable opposition in PDP.

3) Contrary to the wide spread belief in some circles in Nigeria, Buhari is not the sponsor of Boko Haram and it is so sad that Nigerians will be so mischievous to be saying things they cannot substantiate. How do I know this? Because the track record of Gen. Buhari tells us that he cannot be Boko Haram’s sponsor.

I was in Nigeria as a young man when another Islamic sect called Maitatsine was trying to rise up in the then Kano state much like Boko Haram is doing now, it was Buhari’s government that crushed the uprising in 1985.

4) As an Army General I think Gen. Buhari has the rudiments and qualifications to adequately respond to our national security challenges. Especially with him coming from the north and a Muslim. It would be easier for him to crack down on Islamic extremism because he will not be accused of discrimination because he is not a Christian who could later be accused of discriminating against Muslims.

SUNDAY PUNCH gathered on Friday that the ruling party was uncomfortable with the high number of registered voters in states where the APC presidential candidate, Maj.Gen Muhammadu Buhari, is believed to be very popular.

The North-West, believed to be a stronghold of the APC, is the zone where the highest number of PVCs has been collected as of January 7, 2015. Voters in the zone collected 12,013,961 PVCs (30.98 per cent); followed by the South-West with 6,270,736 (16.17 per cent); the South-South, 5,756,018 (14.85 per cent); the North-Central, 5,520,001 (14.24 per cent); the North-East, 4,886,499 (12.60 per cent); South-East, 4,886,499 (10.10 per cent); and the Federal Capital Territory, 411,935 (1.06 per cent).

Not less than 59.75 per cent of the PVCs have been collected in the North-West, the North-East and the South-West, where the APC is perceived to be strong.



[b]Our correspondents in the states gathered that senior party officials of the PDP were worried that parts of the country were President Goodluck Jonathan is adjudged to be very popular recorded low numbers. Such areas include the South-East and some South-South states.

A member of the PDP National Working Committee, who pleaded anonymity, said, “We have studied the figures and we are concerned about low figures in places we have been banking on for victory.

“Look at the South-East, parts of the South-South and even Lagos, where we have been banking on to get massive votes. Only 53.98 per cent of the PVCs have been collected in Lagos compared with Kano State, 86.63 per cent. We have directed our members to embark on grass roots campaigns on the collection of PVCs.”

Similarly, the PDP National Publicity Secretary, Mr. Olisah Metuh, in an interview with SUNDAY PUNCH, admitted that the party was unhappy with the disparity in the distribution of the PVCs.

Metuh said, “Our party members have complained that in their strongholds they have not been able to get the PVCs while some places where we are considered to be a little bit weak achieved almost 90 per cent success rate.

“In line with the President’s avowed commitment to free, fair and credible elections, we urge INEC to avail every (eligible) Nigerian the opportunity to vote in next month’s election.

“We as a party stand by what our President said every eligible Nigerian voter should be given the PVC.”[/b]

See what Amechi did in the city of port Harcourt he constructed many roads. He tried to develop a light rail which port Harcourt does not need for now and he could not finish it. That money could have completed a bridge that can connect a number of small riverine villages.


Go to Niger state and see what babangida did in terms of drainage and canals and msny other thjngs he did for his state while in power. He cut off the norther part of kwara state and joined it to niger state while creating states no non indigine that does not understand the plight and aspiration of his people can do that.
