taharqa: You are complaining of "just" 10% in the case if Lagos, when in Osun tax consultants take 60% while the State gets d remaining 40%. You know know why, apart from the hefty loans taken, Aregbesola has not been able to pay series for 7 months.
Shaange!!! Please tell me this isn't true. This can't be true can it? Any link to back this up. This is potentially the worst news of all, if true. I doubt it. |

In my opinion, this probably means some states are renegotiating their terms with Alpha beta or canceling their contracts. For instance, getting 10% of Lagos tax revenue is simply too much for one consultancy firm and I would imagine similar terms applies to other states. The union narratives seems far fetched to me. Red herring? |

Why allow any guy to have you on tape in the first place?
She should come clean to his fiance and let the guy do his worst. Alternatively, she can scare the guy with some area boys. The guy is a small boy. |

InyinyaAgbaOku: USA and Britain still have significant indigenous investments, same can't be said for your area of reference Says who? Anyways, a foreign investment will inject more cash into the economy, while empowering the youth in the long run. India adopted similar strategy and they are now doing fine. |

CSTR2: The same foreign investment that has turned the SW to a beggar region. Which part of the world has eradicated poverty and underdevelopment with foreign investments? You don't know what you are talking about. 1 China- (USA and Japanese investment). Seriously, you are embarrassing yourselves. The aim of most countries is to attract foreign investors into their country as well as empower their own. USA and Britain negotiate for foreign investment all the time. |

folajoseph: I agree with you in terms of taxation but disagree slightly with the statistics you put forward in regards to GDP, Nigeria's current GDP stands at a whooping $1.109 trillion according to the link below.
Nigeria is actually the 21st richest country in the world with countries like SA, UAE, Netherlands, Switzerland behind us...

BuddahMonk: Oshogbo Toad, big economy does not translate to high standard of living. Nigeria economy is bigger than those of UAE, Qatar, Seychelles, Mauritius and Kuwait etc but how are the citizens faring.
The number of beggars in Ibadan alone exceed the number of beggars in the entire Eastern Region combine. To be fair, it is also worth noting that SW contribute far more than what they get back from the federal government(second only to SS). You guys often overlook these things. |
