shizzle11: Granted that there are a few selfish leaders, but the SE are getting more united and purposeful each passing day, the awareness even beyond the SE is on the Increase as is evident from people of the SS who more than ever before have increased their voices of discontent against Injustice. A few selfish leaders cannot stop an idea whose time has come.
I repeat until and unless these injustices are addressed and tackled head-on, Biafra becoming a fruition will be only a matter of time.
No war, no lives will be lost. Legality and globally accepted procedures will be followed all through in pursuing the self actualisation. UN, NATO, US, name them...every global body/forces that matters will be carried along and involved.
Gotta concentrate now...nice chatting with you. Good day! I absolutely agree with you. Sounds reasonable. Nice chatting with you too. |

shizzle11: Keeping with my impression that most often than not, you sound reasonable, I will ask you this. pls be sincere
If your region has 5states and every other has 6, how would you feel?
If students from your region are given cut-off mark of 250(highest nationwide) and another region has 30, how would you feel?
If there is no federal government presence in your region (deliberate neglect) where as others get undue, undeserved attention, how does it feel?
Not to talk of numerous deliberate marginalisation, political scheming lopsidedness etc..how would you feel?.
I'm holding this convo with you cos I suppose you have some moral values laden with sincere objectivity and miles apart from a typical Yoruba girl. Hmm.. I understand the injustice. My only issue is that we are not going about this the right way with the constant secession threat. The whole of south East needs to unite first and make their requests with one voice. The politicians of SE are the problem IMO. |

shizzle11: Dollyak, gone through a number of your comments, sometimes you come across as reasonable and objective, other times you switch to default setting exhibiting chronic symptoms of a tribalist associated with people from your paternal side, thus exhibit your hate and bias as evident on this thread
Henceforth I will keep an eye on you I am perfectly aware of this. As someone from an inter tribal marriage, I often find myself landlocked between two walls. Lol @ keeping an eye on me. You are welcome on board. Btw, I love both of my parental heritage, I just don't subscribe to the biafra thingy going on. I am aware of the injustice towards Igbo people with respect to marginalisation and whatnot and would rather we fight for the right cause. Peace |

Wow. I am proud of the southern region, most especially the Igbos for working hard to improve their own lives and those of their fellow tribesmen. This kind of competition is very healthy and should be used for motivational purposes. The Yorubas need to go back to the drawing and ask where they've gone wrong, most especially in education sectors, because the waec statistics is not flattering at all.
A few observations. 1 The most educated as well as the best performing states in the SW are from states dominated by the Christians. EKITI and Ondo states. This fact also holds true for the whole region in the country. So perhaps a change of orientation is needed? A change of attitude towards western education perhaps? 2 The northern part of the country is way too behind, the effect of which is a high poverty rate and the constant unrest prominent in the northern region. This is a ticking bomb waiting to explode...More aggressive actions needs to be taken to ensure more people have an education in the north. Starting from providing more incentives.
The SW region needs to invest more in education and social welfare of the people. An example of which is an empowerment programme with the aim to create awareness and empower people. |
Politics › Re: APC Allows Northern Nigeria to Make History by Dollyak(f): 5:28am On Jun 18, 2015 |
lokoloko84: Well maybe you are poor in Geography I do not not know. Most of you are myopic and are just educated bigots. Tribalism has hidden deep in most you that you have refused to see the bigger picture all because of Oil which is just a little faction of this country's economic pool. That is why I support fiscal federalism for a start and probably division of this country. Nigeria has close to fifty mineral resources which are economic viable worldwide and a chunk of these are in the north. Do you know that Nasarawa state has about twenty seven with kogi state having twenty two of these resources. If these resources were explored in these two state, then they will be the richest with massive opportunities in these state. Even in my region(south west), the bitumen in Ondo state alone having more than 27 billion Barrels of unconventional crude oil with other by products can transform that region for years to come talk less of other resources in this region. Do you know that the stones and rocks you see around are being exported illegally and used in Europe. Like I typed earlier, these resources are underutilized just because you have unserious and incompetent government. Google the lists of mineral resources and be liberated. I have no doubt that the northern states are rich in resources. The question is, what are their worth+quatities of those resources? Ilesha is rumored to have 5000tones of Gold ore, of which if true will fetch at least $250billion. Do the maths, and see how many stones you need to equal that price. |

Anybody with sense can see this was a tactical mistake by tinubu. My only issue and concern is with Tinubu's strong hold on SW. He is no awolowo or MKO and doesn't care about Yoruba people, except for his selfish interest. I hope people can stop worshipping this man and instead choose a leader that will put our interests first. |
