All these insults and incitement. I don't see how this has anything to do with BIAFRA.

I believe this is just the east wanting to incite violence in Nigeria. It does not make sense.

BIAFRA was never about the east freedom but Ojukwu's selfish desires. I am very angry but we should not respond emotionally.

We need to stay calm and follow this issue in a peaceful manner. Their is more to this than what meets the eyes.

Please stay calm, this is just an attempt to start civil disturbance.

Let them get more confident, with time they will show us who the true leader of IPOB is. Nnamdi Kanu has handlers , it is these handlers we should target.
I trust you are a wise man so you need not go far in search of his handlers. Kanu is now a jew.... that's enough hint

I am not surprise because an average easterner does not have an iota of respect to their elders,

so what do we expect from such demented fools other than this?

One thing i am happy about is 45 % of igbos are outside their eroded red mud land, which makes it easier for us to wipe them out from planet earth.

Igbos are accusing the Northerners for being an Islam extremist/ fanatics but i see no difference between them, igbos are naturally sadist and christian extremist/ fanatics.

I saw them wailing in the U.S for trump to rescue them, instead of them to act maturely they didn't. They are just speaking gibberrish that "we igbos are christians we dont like muslims we have different ideology, Muslims have been tormenting us, we are like jews, we believe in jesus ( are they not contradicting theirselves).

They thought Trump give a f!uck about them unfurtunately for them they didn't know that Trump is one of a hell racist that detest blacks.
DO WHAT THOU WILT. when murderers, rapists and genocide perpetrators speak, they always think they have a monopoly of violence. Kanu is now a Jew, so I trust you know the implications of killing the igbos. a word is enough they say, for the wise

I'm still replying you because you have been somewhat civil..

But you are mixing things up and contradicting yourself.. You really need to work on your communication skills

In your Last post I quoted, you said You admired Ojukwu because he stood up for his people. Now you're saying he did it to remain relevant?

Ojukwu never wanted war.. He tried diplomacy.. In fact, diplomacy was his only plan. All he wanted was that "we move further apart and survive than come together and perish"

The renegading of the Aburi agreements by Gowon was the beginning of the war.

Your whole submission and the parallels you draw with GEJ makes no sense.

If Gowon and the gang didn't go against the Aburi agreements, 3.5 millions souls wouldn't have perished.

Goodnight

Gowon had the right, as ojukwu's boss, to go against the aburi accord and do whatever he wished. Let me ask you a question and I want you to be honest, If you were Aguiyi ironsi, and hassan katsina, the then governor of northern Nigeria, seceded and declared arewa republic an independent country, citing the murders of Ahmadu bello and tafawa bello, the unification decree and the non execution of the January coup plotters as his reasons, what would you have done?

just a few days osibanjo talked about learning from history but these mor0ns will never listen.

the driving factor in the killing of the ibos prequel to the civil war was the killing of the premier of the north and the taunts that followed by ibos living in the north.

yes hausas have a lot of uneducated street urchins that can become weapons of murder but the ibos are not helping matters either.

if Buhari is 74 (official age maybe 80 real age) and its normal for old people to have health challenges. as a Yoruba man and an advocate of a better Nigeria (true federalism) I believe he did the right thing handing over to the VP but I don't support his decision to seek ,medical care abroad.

yes it's OK to call for his resignation or maybe even impeachment but wishing the man dead and attributing geriatric illness to God's wrath and saying all sort of silly things in just dumb. what do we have to gain by making inflammatory statements about the presidents health and wishing him dead? you might not like his policies but playing politics with someone's life and wishing him dead makes you just as bad as the uneducated Hausa fulanis who are ever willing to kill innocent people.

long story short the ibos are just as guilty in destroying the unity of this country as the Hausa and Yoruba. in fact the ibos are trying harder to pull the country down.
God forbid Buhari dies there will be jubilation in he south east and that will fuel another round of hate and probably killings in the north.

we are the architect of our own misfortunes not the British that brought us together
Buhari should stop intimidating IPOB if he doesn't want to be ridiculed. He behaves like a mad man, he shouldn't complain when he is being treated like one. He sees Kanu and other freedom fighters in prison as slaves, arresting and intimidating them like animals, imposing obnoxious and draconian conditions on kanu as if he is a slave/animal not fit to talk, mingle, or express himself as God created him so he should face the music

You admire his Audacity and the fact he stood for freedom..

your only grouse is that he didn't die for what he believed in.

Generation unborn will admire his audacity and the reasons that prompted his actions and war..

You have problems with how he prosecuted the war. So do I.

But that doesn't change the fact that history will always remember him as Hero.

Because in the end, People don't really care much about what you did and how you did it. They care more about why you did it.
I understand that is the opinion of the average igbo man. But my question is this, What do you think of kanu's agitation? do you know that if kanu succeeds in his mission, it will make ojukwu to look like an accomplice murderer? His cross and destiny was biafra, no one forced him not even gowon or aburi forced him to declare biafra. he chose to because he wanted to remain relevant not because he wanted revenge for the dead killed in northern Nigeria. Obasanjo called him a naive man but that is the truth. If jonathan wanted to be re elected president he would have. but the question is, AT WHAT COST? deaths, deaths and more deaths. I know people like you still see jonathan as a weak man but I ask you, which one is better jonathan's presidency or bloody pogroms of igbos in the north and fulani herdsmen massacre in the south. MY AMBITION IS NOT WORTH THE BLOOD OF NIGERIANS. now ask yourself, what if ojukwu had said those words in 1967? those 3.5 million souls would not have died like that for nothing. History beckons brother.

300 years from now, everyone of us alive now must have been dead.

How will Nigerians talk about the war 300 years from now?

They will talk about how Ojukwu rallied his people against Tyranny despite the odds..

They will talk about how the few stood against the many..

The war will be all about Ojukwu. Gowon will become a villain in the story. Adekunle will be forgotten.

That's how history works bro..
Yes He stood up to tyranny, but at what cost? 3.5 million souls? even though I admire ojukwu' s audacity ( I wouldn't call it bravery because of those deaths) my problem with ojukwu is his inability and unwillingness to sacrifice his personal liberty and freedom for biafra like Mandela and lately kanu did! If you want to understand ojukwu and his actions better, try and read the life of Maitatsine. If you still do not understand the madness in his audacity ( maybe because you love him with your heart, just like maitatsine's followers) I advise you try to read and research the accounts of the biafran war, especially chinua achebe's there was a country BUT pretend as if you are hausa/fulani/yoruba man. believe me you will see his actions in another different light. Maitatsine's followers believed in him even though most Muslims saw him as a madman. I rest my case

The Next Step is to make it a religion of all Biafrans and the gullible will put their 'faith' in him. Just like it is sang, "Nnamdi Kanu is another savior". Then watch the congregation grow. People will abandon other religions just with the hope that Israel will influence Trump to make a single statement about Biafra and the entire world focus will be on the Biafra issue. Already, VOA and BBC ran an editorial last couple of Days on Biafra.

In Nigeria, we will consider it funny, but the world does not look at it this way.

Let me even take the Prediction further. In 2019, Nnamdi can decide to tell Biafrans to boycott voting and that, will herald another phase in Nigeria. I am asking Nigeria to start working on the suggestion of the SW. Regionalism will be better than our present system which makes individuals trillionaires every 4 yrs while the rest of the populace beg for alms in form of salaries and prostitution.

Whao! Interesting! You made a lot of points but I don't agree wit all. Biafra has fallen twice again. Glad u see it now that kanu may be finished. I don't doubt it, he truly is. The bail condition has roped him. So you want him to publicly denounce biafra? Haba! It's like saying he shud deny his igbo origin. Literally speaking, biafra is another name for igbo as of today and igbo is biafra. Besides, it's not safe for him to denounce it as he will be condemned (this is common sense naa) so beta he stay silent.

I doubt someone else will voice out for the long while and not face same treatment. From FG point of view, it is treason. Kanu won't even want anything linked to him. The man has remained silent since his bail.

For those who do not know, on the 25th of April, 2017, Justice Binta Murtala-Nyako granted Mazi Nnamdi Kanu bail on health grounds but with the following strings attached:
1) Produce three sureties and two of whom must be; (a) highly respected and recognized Jewish leader and (b) highly placed Igbo person such as a Senator. The third surety must be resident in Abuja with a landed property in the same Abuja. Above all, the three sureties must deposit one hundred million naira (N100million) each.
2) Barred from attending any rally and granting any form of interview.
3) Must not be in a crowd exceeding 10 persons.
4) Must surrender his British and Nigerian passports even when these passports are still in the custody of the DSS.
5) Must sign an undertaking to avail himself for trial at all times.

I know what I'm saying, kanu is handicapped and even the abia State senator that stood as one of his surety will advise him to relax because he will be responsible. Anyways, I won't comment on my people (anioma) following biafra or not.

For me I know Nigerians don't want war, so I disagree with u. With all the boko haram bombings targetting igbos especially how many attack did t igbo carry out a revenge? It was only the Niger delta avengers that spoke up and threatened fire for fire.

Biafra is a only dream. Ojukwu failed using weapon of war, kanu failed using democratic diplomacy and the charge against him was read as treason.

For me, we pray everyday in church even today for Nigeria. If Go has kept us, nobody can break it If God has a plan for Nigeria as many has prophesied in this last days.

We always pray that God destroys the enemy of Nigeria, boko haram especially, ba leaders, even biafran plans? Well I don't know. All I know is if it wills God to keep Nigeria, you people will burn time and resources for nothing. Even igbos in churches pray for our dear Nigeria too.
You really think that kanu has denounced biafra? well, even if I am disinclined to believe your assertions, I believe with time, the truth will reveal itself. As for biafra, 30th of may shall determine it's reality

You're right. He was definitely a demagogue/megalomaniac. I know it's easier to look at things in hindsight, but you can't be a career soldier and be as stupid/dumb as Ojukwu. I guess his greed and desire to rule a country got the best of him. And the same trait is evident in a lot of Igbos cos they always let emotions override logical thinking.

Even a thug who's street smart knows you don't go to war unless your money is right. And even when you do, you've to always make sure you don't get other parties, who have nothing to do with it, by creating more enemies. You've to take the war to whoever you've a problem with and communicate with neutral parties via the back channel - to make them maintain their neutrality. War is like 1/3 military confrontation/tactics, 1/3 propaganda, and 1/3 politics. And he only got the propaganda bit right - while failing woefully in the other aspects.

Anyway, he effed up a moment in history that would've changed the fortunes of Nigeria and I don't think the country is ever going to heal. Nigeria is basically a country of mutual assured destruction and no group is benefiting from the country. The North which claims ownership of the country is the poorest and most backward region. Yorubas aren't benefiting cos the group is yet to surpass what it achieved in the 60s and it has been in a perpetual state of decline. And the Igbos are destitute trying to fit in anywhere. It's a shame, really.

Regardless, Ojukwu was a coward and the lousiest soldier ever. How the guy was able to attain a rank higher than a constable in the colonial Nigerian army is still a mystery to me. grin

He is a warmonger who understands only war and not negotiation and the rule of law. He never was willing to sacrifice anything for biafra. He is also a big coward for abandoning the struggle! He was a bad example to uwazuruike. I hope Kanu does not emulate him and abandon biafra like uwazuruike.

If only he had been brave/intelligent as his mouth and Osama beards - things would've happened differently. This man had enough time to strategise, play chess, and garner both local support from other Southern ethnic groups and foreign countries - to pull it off. He was just feeling himself too much. A missed opportunity. And he could've written his name in gold and avoided the unnecessary perpetual bickering/hate/distrust between Yorubas and Igbos.

Anyway, Nigeria needs to let these people go. You can't force a scorned wife to stay in a marriage forever, unless you want an untimely death. Folks just need to be smarter this time around and play the right cards, with adequate planning.
the Americans call him a demagogue and a megalomaniac. the only difference between him and maitatsine is that maitatsine fought with his men till death, while ojukwu the coward fled, tail between his legs to cote d'ivoire after the death of 3.5 million people, came back and became even more Nigerian than Zik himself ( ifeajuna and co will be turning in their graves)

you are confused obviously. I decided to leave you for two days to attend to better things first because i have seen that you are building castle in the air.

I never called Ojukwu a coward get my point. I said the OLD BIAFRANS ARE THE TRUE HEROES BUT WHAT WE HAVE TODAY ARE COWARDS AND YOU ARE ONE OF THEM. You are depending on kanu that is now a vegetable, why not do it yourself since you have passion enough to die for your people, take over the revolution as kanu didn't wait for any man before he started biafra radio.

I SAID OJUKWU FLED BECAUSE WHICH DOES NOT MAKE HIM A COWARD SINCE IT WAS AT A TIME THE WAR WAS APAPRENTLY LOST. I said a soldier must know when to retreat and even surrender but you mistook that has being a coward. They already fought A WAR, so how is that cowardice? they have demonstrated bravery already.

Believe me, if kanu coughs again he will return to cell becos he already signed bail condition. do you know what was written as a condition? when court ordered his release did the FG oblige? NO! the reason is because they don't trust him and had to give him a conditional release. This is the same you call most powerful man (a mere vegetable now). The man don turn ugwu o!

WHERE IN MY POST DID I SAID OJUKWU RAN TO FIGHT ANOTHER DAY? PLEASE QUOTE ME!!!!!

You are just assuming things............... I said a soldier must know when to surrender and become POW if you don't want to loose your life. surrendering or retreating doesn't sound like running to fighting another day. I wonder where you are getting your assumptions from.

I LOVE YOUR WORDS THAT IS IS NEVER TOO LATE FOR BIAFRA AS LONG AS KANU DOESN'T GIVE IT like Ojukwu and Uwazuruke. That's a probability statement. YOU CAN JUST HOPE KANU HASN'T BEEN SILENCED BECAUSE YOU ARE IGNORING THE TRUTH AND THE POINT I'M MAKING. This is common sense!! If that man tries anything again contrary to whatever he may have signed, there will be court order that will keep him behind bars for years because by himself he signed a document. So you think FG will just allow him like that?

It doesn't matter if the FG is afraid of him or not, of course he is a threat but what matters is that they will do everything to handicap him using the law and that is what probably has happened. let another man take up the mantle (PERHAPS YOU SINCE YOU CAN TAKE BULLETS) becos kanu has ended his chapter.

I wont address the order things you said about NIGERIA not powerful and all that to avoid disintergration. you surely lack knowledge not me because no country leave without war or a fight. SO ARE YOU READY FOR ANOTHER BIAFRA WAR? SEASON 2?

this is a dictionary definition of a coward- one who shows disgraceful fear or timidity • a
coward who deserted his troops.
A coward is also someone who lacks principles. That ojukwu is a coward is an understatement. He is a fraud. The Americans call him a megalomaniac and demagogue. The only single difference between maitatsine and ojukwu is that maitatsine, being a principled man, died for his cause and beliefs so in a sense he is a hero despite causing the deaths of thousands of his followers in a foolish venture. Ojukwu fled, tail between his legs, after the deaths of 3.5 million people to a life of luxury at ivory Coast, came back, denied biafra, became a Nigerian and desecrated the memory of 3.5 million people that died in his foolish venture and you call him a hero! well, God shall judge.
My friend, I know Nigerians want war, but we have passed that stage. This country is a fraud and was built on lies. like all lies, it won't last long cos the truth will eventually catch up with it. Nigeria is in moment of truth now. That Nigeria will divide is not a matter of how but when and do not delude yourself that the Niger delta won't join us because I believe the scales have fallen off their eyes too. 30th may is going to shake Nigeria to its very foundation and the anambra Nov. elections will the final nail on its coffin.
Kanu, unlike ojukwu, till today has not publicly denounced biafra. Even in the unlikely event that he has gives up, another man will rise up and take up the leadership vacuum. why? because majority of the igbos do not want to be part of Nigeria! Power resides where men believes it resides. thank you

the best teacher for a fool. History is a kinder and
gentler teacher."

the history i see is that of killings, rapine, genocide, unfinished extermination of igbos!

dat is wishful thinking. d fact is dat Nigeria is on d verge of a civil war, for instance in d event dat Mr buhari dies , if d north plans a military coup and stops osinbanjo 4rm gaining power, what do you think dat wud lead to?

its just best to stop promoting religious and tribalistic comments online. just ask seirra leone, they would tell u
and the best occasion to say it is at a Biafran conference?

Awolowo gave your people your 20 pounds. The Western govt also gave your people their houses back .
Did the South South do the same ?
Does that make SS the richest Nigerians now?

Who know Aliko Dangote and Femi Otedola in the late 60s ?
You ppl simply took a wrong turn and these are the consequences
Instead of of you ppl to stop agonizing and start organizing , you all wanna be stuck with playing marginalization .

Jonathan's govt marginalized the west but did they cry ? Rather , they strategized. That's what your politicians lack
We do not want leaders under the fraudulent 1999 constitution, we want Biafra!

How can Dangote and Otedola be richer than most igbos now, I thought you fellas developed lagos and Nigeria in general ?
I thank God Dangote and Otedola are not Igbos. Imagine what they would have done ? Their people would have told them not to invest outside their region.

Its an undeniable fact . An Igbo man's greed to acquire wealth will make him do ANYTHING - even the unspeakable

Though its a human character , its synonymous with igbos, its just the facts -nothing personal
All thanks to awolowo who stole all our money in the banks and gave us only 20 pounds there making us to start life afresh! We all know that the wealth of all yoruba and hausa rich men today came from stolen men. Greedy poor fools

Alu eme!!!

Nwanne please try get your voters card and also encourage others close to you to get theirs.

Report says that as usual there is low turn out in SE (ie if you're igbo). We cannot allow what happened to us in 2015 happen again in 2019.
I will not be faster than my shadow. as long as the 1999 constitution is not discarded, I will boycott every single election in Nigeria.
