I also used Zenith Bank last year and it worked very fine.
My application was at the Head Office and the transaction was sanctioned within 4 days.

While filling the form, account number/IBAN should be yours while Acc Name was the name of my school.

Zenith tried but it was bounced bank from head office, claimed that i cannot use Form A to transfer into individual account name, and Access Bank said its not possible. I had to open a Dorm account for my transfer.

Last time I checked, a reverend sister is not qualified to issue SL. Reverend sisters here don't even have personal account numbers. My last discussion with a reverend sister of Immaculate Heart here in München, she told me that they don't have personal accounts both in München and Nigeria.

It's a congregation and they use general account for everybody. So, having a general account didn't qualify her to issue SL.

Note: This information is based on the above mentioned congregation.

Also, people should make effort to read comments on SL. It's in German but try to translate.. For example, you should see word like "Stadium" on it to ensure its for study and not just visit.... etc

This is not the best option. If actually you are sure that you really want to postpone, write the embassy that you wanna postpone your application so it will be considered for winter due to unavailability of financial resources. That you have deferred your admission and will provide new admission letter once available.

Once winter application starts, get new admission letter and provide your means of sustainance.

This way, you won't go to interview again as your former interview is still valid. No visa fee again and no interview stress.

Another suggestion is this. Attend the interview with all your documents. After a week or two, write to the embassy explaining that you won't be able to meet you due to unavoidable financial limitations (this is assuming you're not able to meet up)

Ask to withdraw your visa application. They'll ask you to send it to them in writing and sign it, then they'll send all your original documents to you. That's what I did last winter and I avoided getting rejected.

Don't lose hope. Happened to me last year and I've used this time to better all aspects of my life. Time will go by so fast you won't even notice it. Good luck!

You got no worries. In some schools, you can do your enrollment without been there. Just send the required documents and pay your fees. Also, someone can do it for you in some schools. You can also get enrollment extension. Also, you might get your visa before them. Try and fund before your interview.

I disagree!!! Fintiba blocked account for Wintersemester starts from September. If you unblock in December or later,
September, October and November will be paid at once then the 3 deductions. Deduction starts from the month of pay out. Only the initial fee of 89€ is deducted immediately your account is funded.

Yes they will start charging you from the month you transferred the money. They deduct it once you start operating the account. (4.9 * the number of months: starting from the month it was transferred).

N26 is a current account and can't be used as blocked account. Someone wrote a review about them some pages back and yes, they are really cool. I use N26.

Yes, X-patrio is new but since its already on the consulate's website, that means they are approved. And they are 40€ cheaper than Fintiba. So check your options and use them if you wish to save 40€.

Please, kindly apply to more schools as you still have time. You can't run away from uni-assist if you need more schools. People have experienced up to 3 rejections and later got admitted to better schools.

I can't answer all your questions. It's an assignment without earned value cos it seems you are enjoying Nigeria. I am also not here to convince you but to help those who have decided to be in Deutschland.

A Nigerian supervising a construction site is hard as you need a special qualification and good knowledge of German for that. You can work under someone and still earn a lot of money. The industry pays very well.

For combining classes with work, you sort it out yourself as lectures are not done through out the day. Classes last for 1.30 mins. Lectures are also recorded so you watch at your own convenient time. Not all schools does this though.
