My morning was filled with refreshed hope in the project called Nigeria. I've not been elated by any news report like this of late. Hammed Ali, the new Comptroller-General of Nigeria custom service has asked custom officers to declare their assets. I grew up associating corruption with the colour ash wearing officers on Nigerian highways. My experience en route Badagry Express way, the highway linking Nigeria to Neighbouring country, Benin Republic will make me support a debate on the customs being more corrupt than Nigeria Police. At every roadblock, the driver knows he's to 'settle'. Woe betides the driver who is stingy with the bribery amount. Not mentioning their shady deal at the Port. They are the most pot bellied force. The more corrupt they are, the more their pot bellies. Even Baba custom that lives on my street is not left out. He owns the biggest house on that street. Rumour has it he owns more and one wonders if he has other sources of income. His lifestyle makes young children see being a custom officer an enviable future ambition. Baba-custom's wife is not left out. She is a 'fayawo' who smuggles cars from neighbouring countries. She enjoys free passage due to the popularity of her husband amidst other officers. The declaration of asset of custom officers is a step in the right direction. I hope the opposition won't term it another witch hunt. Who do you think is more corrupt? |
I don't think this is an anti rape therapy. The pleasure enjoyed by rapist is not in the act or because those involved are children but the resistance and agony on the faces of their victims. A million of this sex dolls will not stop those without self control and moral compass from predating on those they are protect. May God help this perverse generation. If you think this is not an end time doll, there is something wrong. |
Buhari.... |
The worst time to be a previous political office holder from opposition, worst time to be in PDP. little wonder the so called south east hero, Jim Nwobodo jumped ship. Them go here wehnn. Sai Bubu... |
I'll rather marry a village girl than these beauty queen. Most of these contest are won or retained by accepting the digging of well in ones God's given private site by different and multiple digging apparatus. It's not new, so bad though. |
That's for the public but it won't remove the deep seated enemity between them. Olamide's rants was a ventilation of deep rooted hatred and not just anger. |
All these... |
Buhari I think is too self righteous to implement the confab result. I kind of perceive buhari to be selfish in his ideas and has the thinking that the solution must come from him or people directly within his camp. Asking him to implement a confab result by a 'devilish' government is impossible except if a new confab by the APC government even though with the same report. Pst Bakare should not stop making sense. Every Tunde Bakare opinion today was a hit, from the arrest of Emefiele to the implementation of confab result...vice president o ja wo mo, sociopolitical watch dog to take over...ko ni da fun .....fill it up |
If Bakare is to face his call that means we all don't also have right to comment on sociopolitical issues affecting us. You should delete your comments and stop airing your opinions, you should also be facing your call(work or purpose). #yinmu Come to think of it, the CBN governor has an autonomy and he's technically not responsible to the president even though he appointed him. Will you belief Emefele if he says he didn't know that a large chunk of these money are being misappropriated. Did he document any report cum petition on this? Tell be when the CBN becomes a retail bank disbursing money to politicians. #yeyedeysmell Bakare should be commended for saying what others wouldn't have said. Let the search light be beamed on the yam keeper. #TeamArrestTheYamkeeper Nigeria can never be good if we don't stand up for the truth. |
I dey come |

All the people that pushed this poor dude necessitating his grandiose delusion are still not satisfied with how far they've misguided him. Now that his coming back to his premorbid state prior to sanity you guys still want him deluded. He apologized, you denied it. You said you want video evidence. Now that his lawyer has accepted his writing a letter yet they said he should have addressed it to the president and posted it through NIPOST. Did Iyabo Obasanjo post her then open letter? The director even signed it plus his hand writing as shown by Sahara Reporters yet you guys won't allow him be. You guys are the problem of this guy. You hailed him to make hate comment (the viral video) until he landed in prison. I'm sure he his regretting his action now yet you guys are still inserting thoughts in him. Thank God our Director is thinking. Buhari should pls not take this thing personal. He has learnt his lesson. Justice with merci biko. |
No it mustn't be. so sad. |
They've been giving me every week. I'm on the third |

The owner of that car has got his priorities misplaced. Leaving in that house with such a car! |
If for this I voted for Buhari I'm happy. |
Okay o |
As if he is a saint. He's right though. |
If for only this reason Buhari won, I'm satisfied. |
Dino made a very big mistake when he decides to take on media agent like Sahara Reporters. They are ready to throw dirt at you cos they've got nothing to loose but rather love from your enemies that wanted your head on the table ab initio. Responding to the allegation is another mistake cos it looks like a lie and this will only prompt Sahara to prove that. What makes Tinubu powerful is not just because he is Jagaban but because he controls the media. His ownership of The Nations, Radio Continental and TVC (arguably the best station after channel) can generate any propaganda that can reach the tall heaven. Even Buhari is not safe if he decides to take him on. Propaganda finished Jonathan and nothing else. 1-1, expecting another goal from Sahara Reporters. |
