Goodbye Elder (Dr) T. E. Oyakhilome -See You On The Other Side.

Please Join me and thousands of believers around d World to celebrate d life of a great Man of God, Elder (Dr) T. Oyakhilome, the father of the great apostle of God, prophet to the nations, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome.

Well recognized among d family of Assemblies of God Nigeria, He ws until his death, the Dean of studies @ the Loveworld Ministerial College(LMC). He hs taught n mentored many great men of God.

Well known for His teachings on Escatology (study of the end times), He ws a man of faith, full of the Spirit, who lived an examplary life and inspired others everywhere he went.

I hv a friend who always loved to recall one of his messages @ CEC Port Harcourt where he taught saying that that throne of grace where we as children of God are encouraged in scripture to approach to obtain mercy and grace will one day be no more as it will hv bn turned into The Throne of Judgement!
Many esp those who've attended the LMC hv one thing or d other to say about him.

I'D miss him. Anybody's got something to say?

Hmmm, i knew i will find u here! Where are ur friends Davidylan and d backclider. I know they'd be arouind her somwhere. U guys sure get ur kicks from these sort of threads. Wining and dining with sinners . . . see hw u fit in perfectly among them, taking sides with them against the church of Jesus Christ and his annointed ministers; ride on christian!

U must hv seen wt CEC did with the rhapsody of realities, recently. This money u worship; see hw they treated it. . . like the servant that it is. And again, the pastors took d lead. The pastor of my own local assembly gave 1 million naira.
Now with ur knoiwledge of business. What will it profit a business, man to do such? 1 rhapsody costs N150 we gave out over 10million free of charge to Nigerians. We believe this gospel that we preach! U guys should be ashamed of urselves.
Unfortunately, some christians seem to have taken sides with this misled guy called Paul. Remember u will gv account of every idle word u utter.
Christianity Etc › Re: How To Become A Super Rich Holy Businessman by donnie(m): 8:54am On Oct 10, 2008
Can u imagine, even when the poster said he is motivated by the fact that he has been hurt before (and not by the Holy Sprit), we still see so- called christians following his lead. . . Hw sad.
Christianity Etc › Re: How To Become A Super Rich Holy Businessman by donnie(m): 8:28am On Oct 10, 2008
Because of ur evil intentions, you emphasize the 'businesses' u say they own or oversee but say nothing about the counless number of lives they've helped. Even when u mentioned those of TB Josuah, u made it look like a bad thing. U said the miracles he performs are not biblical as if u knw what a biblical miracle should be. Any wise thinking person shld run away from u and ur influnce.
Christianity Etc › Re: How To Become A Super Rich Holy Businessman by donnie(m): 8:27am On Oct 10, 2008
Pastor chris is known @ CEC to be the first and biggest giver at all times, all he has belongs to God and so it is with several other of his close pastors.
by faith he stopped recieving a salary from the church several yrs ago.
He does not get a dime as payment from the sale of any book tape or CD including rhapsody of realities(i know wat i am saying). These department hv thier directors who control finances and manage thier staff. He only gives the message they publish.
I thot he was the only preacher who lived like that until i recently hrd Oyedepo say that till date he has never taken a dime from the sale of a single book.
now what does that make u and ur fans? False accusers; People on the express way to hell, and at full speed!
Christianity Etc › Re: How To Become A Super Rich Holy Businessman by donnie(m): 8:16am On Oct 10, 2008
@poster
It wasnt my intention to gv satan my attention by contributing to this thread but i will to show a few people where they are headed for, perhaps they'd hv a rethink.
Firstly, @ Christembassy No money is charged like somone hd earlier mentioned, for seat reservations. I hv bn personally involved with taking these reservations for CEC programs. So what does that make u and ur fans Paul? false witnesses and candidates for hell fire!
Secondly, @ Christ Embassy, the first and biggest giver is the pastor of the Church. I hv hd d opportunity of working @ several CEC churches (PH, Lagos,Maiduguri, Calabar, Asaba, Nnewi) and as a volunteer staff n i have hd close relationships with many pastors so i cnt count hw many time i winess them empty thier houses in order to carry out church projects. CEC calabar pastor gave away several cars and had to treck in order to meet d needs of the church. I know himself, Nnewi and Aba pastors hv emtied thier houses including furniture to meet one church need or the other.

Oh my goodness! I was soooo blessed by that. Can u imagine? They say His curly hair and good diction misleads Nigerians. What a stupid thing to say. If that kind of misleading brought u (hubreality) to where u r now, then i desire to be misled even more. glory to Jesus!

When u begin to quote newspaper stories and beer parlour gist iinstead of the word which is able to build, u remind me that i shldnt be relating with u. It is very easy to preach condemnation. U dont need to know much of God's word's to do so. Any unbel can wake up and begin to point out people's sins.
When u who claim to be a christian begin to say things that are too high for u. Calling a man who has raised many men of God and millions of christians all around the world (including myself who by the grace of God have worked with Jesus for close to ten years)a sinner in public like this., there is nothing more to do or say than to leave you for God.

@backslider.
If u are expecting to see a time where there'll be no sin, then ur mistaken for iniquity shall abound; yet grace will abound even much more.
The true church of Jesus christ (which only he can approve and not some backslider) is however being purified, prepared and shall be preserved blameless by God's grace even as the day approaches. That there are many selfish men and women parading as men of God, who really dont have any calling whatsoever, shouldnt then mean that the true church is completely defiled with nothing good in it. I am continually reminded of God's Holy presence and power each and everytime i am in the assembly of God's people. If that's not the case with u, pity 'cos that'll mean dt urs is actually in need of a serious revival, and quickly, 'cos d time is short.

What is all this talk about fair or not fair? He is the porter, you are the clay. What right does the clay have to ask the porter why this or that? The porter without a second thought will remove and break in pieces any piece of clay that dosnt fit his design or purpose and the clay can't say a Word to him. That's what we call the righteousness of God. It is by faith from 1st to last. Only one way- Jesus, son of the living God!
Christianity Etc › Re: Pastor Chris Oyakhilome by donnie(m): 7:00pm On Oct 01, 2008
My dear, Jesus Himself has already begun that war against false teachers and thier false defeatist doctrines which makes victims out of God's kids, bought with the price of the precious blood of Jesus. Now is the day of salvation. Now the prince of this world has been cast down. Now the kingdom of God suffereth violence and the violent take it by force.
We will not buy that lie you are selling, telling us to expect a revival some day in future for its already on. That u are not seeing it dosnt mean God is not working. You want us to expect another just like the Jews who are still expecting thier messiah and killed Jesus who was sent to them. We will not buy o!

Happy independence Nigeria and Nigerians! I hp u've all recieved ur free copy of rhapsody of realities. If not quickly call, ask or reach out for yours.
Prayer:
Heavenly father, i declare that your Word and the influence of righteousness is growing and prevailing all over Nigeria, and the works of darkness are defeated! Your peace will continuously reign supreme in our land; and i pray for the abundant supply of your wisdom to our leaders, to govern the affairs of the nation in righteousness, peace and justice, in the Name of Jesus. Amen.

@Backslidder
Yours is a case of ignorance gone on rampage. Going thru the discuss bw u n Riccaddel, i cldnt help bt laugh.
You dont know but u are too proud to admit it and learn from those who know better.
Going thru ur posts i cld see clearly d character of those christians who twist scriptures in order to bring others into bondage and submissn to themselves. They hv not found rest.
Paul called them wolves in sheep's clothing and admoniishes us to beware of them.
First they told us we hd to clean ourselves n stop doing all the bad stuff b4 we come to Jesus.
When we found out its by faith n also recieved salvation, they now say ours is not genuine bc we still look good and wear makeup while they smell around, looking haggard, fasting and praying like praying-mantis. As such, they say we do not qualify to recieve the Holy ghost as if they are the ones that died on the cross for us. They say u must fast and pray for days or wks to be sanctified.
With these beliefs of urs, hw wldnt u continue to backslide?

The press arent barred, they probably didnt come the right way. Everyone with a camera and recorder isnt necessary a journaist. We prevent them from coming in contact with folks whose sole aim for showing up there is to turn the truth of God into a lie like those of the Sewetan in SA (who didnt even bother to show up but eagerly took to writing unfounded stories which they fabricated).
And to the scripture u refered to, where someone was asked to go and show himself to the priest after being healed. Notice it was to the priest and not to some govt panel or team of doctors (even though this is always a necessity at our crusades to have doctors check everyone with claims of healing that wants to testify) or worse still to some group of nairaland pharisees.

Christianity Etc › Re: Who Was William Branham? by donnie(m): 10:44pm On Sep 17, 2008
I read a bit about him and i believe (even though some don't) dt he was a man of God.
He encountered God ever before he knew of any bk calld d bible. God used strange signs to get his attention. The wind blew, he hrd God speak aloud. Wth very ittle knowledge of d english language bt wth great power, he preached d gospel with mighty demonstrations of the Spirit.
TL Osborne attended one of his meetings nd his life never remained the same as he witnessed d power of God first hand, seeing d MOG putting his finger into deaf ears and commanding the deaf and dumb spirits to come out.
According to TL, i hrd a thousand voices saying to me. . . You can do that, u can do that!
I've also seen the famous picture which showed a live hallow above his head.
His story along with those of the founder of RCCG, and TB Josuah are similar. They show us a God who is eager to reach and use his chosen despite their limitations even if he needs to make use of very strange signs to get his attention and those of d world.
Christianity Etc › Re: Fight The Good Fight: by donnie(m): 9:44am On Sep 13, 2008
Faith isnt a gift in the sense of some christans have it and some don't. Nope, it came with the gospel and is imparted to your spirit the moment u recieve the gospel of Christ and are born again. (Romans 12:3).
This however should not be confused with the gift of faith refered to by Paul in his letter to the corinthians. Just like many of us as christians can and do prohesy but there are some who have the gift of prophecy in operation in their lives. We all can lay hands on the sick in faith and have them recover but there are some with the gift of healing.
Christianity Etc › Re: Fight The Good Fight: by donnie(m): 9:40am On Sep 13, 2008
There are good fights and there are bad ones. Fighting in the streets for free (when others make millions of dollars from fighting) is a bad fight.
The fight of faith is a good one with direct benefits here on earth and in eternity. In the fight of faith, we know the winner even before the fight begins. The fight will not end until we have won. Isnt that just cool? cool

@Africankel
Thanx for your very clear views and rebuke. I think it was much needed at this pt. However, i will like to point out that i have known some of these guys on nairaland for quite a long time.
I have known pilgrim (and he can attest to that) for pretty long time and he has always been about trying to maintain a balance but hardly without a trace of understanding of the Spirit and the Word. And I also recognize many times his desire to have me express same views on these threads. That however, is hardly my queue on n'land . . . with no regrets though.
As for folks like Davidylan and backslider (whom i have also known for a long time), hmm, i'd rather reserve my comments (u can do a nairaland search and find out for yourself).
No probs sha. . . 1 love guys, Let it continue!

Pepeye's statements have not in any way contradicted mine. We are speaking from the same body of revelation.
Pride? Whose pride? Urs or hers? She simply made statements of fact. If i declare among native doctors that i'm a trained medical doctor, does that make me a proud person?
Jesus said to the phariees, 'i am from above' and again he said to them, 'you err because you know not the scriptures'. He also said ye are of ur father the devil and the deeds of your father u will do. Was he proud? No, he knew who he was and declared same unashamedly. I know who i am!! Greater is he that is in me than he that founded this thread. Glory!

Even though i doubt if any of the last 3 posters' resources will be involved in the project, may i state for record purposes that Christ Embassy has large inner-city mission schools where children are taken to from off the streets and trained of charge. Many are fed, clothed and accomodated free of charge.
Older ones are fed, clothed & accomodated. Others are given money to start businesses. Or do u want us to show these on TV as well.

We are a global ministry with millions of members and an ever widening network. We have strong influence in the media, education, politics, entertainment and so on and this influence will increase.
We refuse to let satan have control over the minds of people for whom Jesus died.
Keep talking and criticizing and leave us alone to work for the master. . . the time is short and the Lord is doing a quick work.
The world will hate us because we have believed God's word and are following his plan as little children. They are of their father the devil and they carry out his will and do not understand the wisdom of God except it is granted them. And we are appointed to reach them with the gospel.
