I know Ozi David; he is another greedy, demon possesed, liar, impostor and thief who will soon confess.

He acquired cheap popularity when he found occassion to take advantage of jobless confused christians several years ago.

Well just like others of his kind, he faded away with his lies which suprisingly, u still cherish.

He is a failure. His companions are failures.

His desire towards the man TB Josuah did not come to pass. It failed and will continue to fail because God is against all such.

We are truely in the end times. Just like they did to Jesus, they do to His church today.

Question: Have you been born again?

If not, you better confess Jesus as Lord of your life right away and recieve that eternal life of God; that overcomming divine life of almighty God into your spirit (1Jn 5:11-12, Rom 10:9-10).

There is no substitute for this if you want to live victoriously in this life. Satan will not stop at troubling you, his desire is to kill you and get u to hell.

However, if you are born again, you need to know that you were raised together with christ from the dead (Eph 2:5-6).

You are now seated with him in heavenly places at the right hand of God; that place of authority and power with God almighty (Eph 1:20-21).

This should be your daily testimony, declaration, announcement or confession otherwise satan will continue mess you up even though you are born again.

Satan and his demons thrive on the ignorance of God's people. Jesus got the victory for us!

Remember the apostles creed . . .(he descended into hell). He actually went to hell, defeated satan and all his co-horts, released the captives and rose again victorious and triumphant over all principality and power.

What you need is not a deliverance pastor or minister but the message of your deliverance and that is what i am bringing to you now.

They think Nigerians haven't learnt their lesson. They want to bring back those old lies, even when the truth is so glaring.

My advice: Make dem ask Jesus to show dem wetin dem go do with dem life before e dey too late or before dem begin smell everywhere.

Pls be careful in your use of language especially when speaking about holy things or about annointed men of God for that matter. I have heard loads of stories about various ministries and ministers but the last thing i will want to find myself doing is publishing these tales. That is not my christian upbringing. We dont do that where i come from. We don't advertize the devil. Such stories should rather cause our hearts to be heavy. They should drive us to our knees in intercession for God's people, not this 'telling the world' like you put it.

However, i am aware that it is stories like these that get  a lot of penticostals excited. Spreading rumur.

I remember a funny incident that happened about 4 years ago.

A friend of mine who is a member of Winners Chapel and who also attends the Holy Ghost conference of the RCCG visited me and saw a certain newspaper  publication with something about Pastor chris being 'arrested at Airport enroute south Africa'. I was shocked and at the same time not really suprised (cos i knew such people existed) at his response:

Yes! Thank God. . . at last!
Well i showed him where the article had at the begining of its heading an 'RE:'.

It was a response to an article published by Saturday independent. The SEC Gen of BLW was actually announcing a decision to start libel proceedings against the paper for their false reports.

A look of shame fell upon my friend's face after he examined the publication properly.

It is the same things that led the entire PFN and even CAN to war against pastor Chris for associating with TB Josuah.

They lied, Formulated stories, gave false revelations and prophesies. How many of them approached pastor Chris to ask him intelligent questions? None. They invited demon possesed people to tell them tales. They preached these lies on their pulpits. They wrote books full of lies. But in all these, we see how they failed. Truth is greater and will always outlive falsehood. What is the situation today? Are these two ministers not still bigger and greater than their persecutors?

What i always say to the watchmen: pray. Pray for the church and for yourself that you will be guided by God's Spirit at all times.

I read the article. Pastor Adeboye's comments were more of political and diplomatic than theological.
He did not condemn TB Josuah. If I am to paraphrase what he said: My answer wouldnt be anything different from what the PFN leadership has said. I will not go there until we first sit down and have a chat about salvation. If he agrees with me on what i think salvation is from my understanding of the scriptures, i will go.

From what i get it is all politics. The man has not come to pay homage to the dons of Nigerian christianity. He has not come to introduce himself and talk about how he got converted. Who was his pastor they ask? As though the man is begging for their approval.

In my own opinion, i think TB Josuah should stay away from those folks called PFN. Let him focus on what God has called him to do and steer clear of those who think it is their duty to say who is a christian and who is not. Let him continue to have compassion on the sick, poor and needy. Let him continue to  heal the sick, give scholarships, love and care for the widows and leave others to build the biggest sanctuaries, buy private jets and contest elections for political office.

Dont confuse the two. To rightly point out that Pastor Chris teaches heresy and his miracles are questionable is not equivalent to mocking God or His ministers. The jews mocked, jailed, beat and finally killed the early apostles . . . they didnt spend time complaining. The truth of Christ's gospel shined even brighter. If indeed ye are of God then why does "mocking" disturb mortal men?

I expected to find a post like this. And i am not suprised who the poster turned out to be. You are the ones who invite these atheists. So it is on Nairaland you intend to effect the change. The reason i am responding to you is so that you will not give birth to more like yourslef. Read your bible. . .  you will see that you are merely fulfilling scripture.

Unbels dont really care about what the church believes. They only come in at the invitaion of the religious folk. Those who aught to be busy doing the masters work but aren't. They prefer the post of 'isnspector'. They know what aught to be done but will not lift a pin let alone bow their knees in heartfelt intercession.

Luke 21:12 tells us that we shall be brought before kings. Who does the bringing? The religious folk of course. In the days of  Jesus and the apostles it was the same. You will think that they will rejoice when they see large numbers of souls being won to the Lord or the sick being healed. For where? They saw the crowds and were filled with envy. Acts 13:45

They brought Jesus before rulers and accusing him of many things, they compeled the rulers to do away with him. In fact, they killed Jesus. The  rulers didnt really have any problem with Jesus. The religious folk did.

It is the religious folk that are the problem of the church, not atheists. It is those who are at the top of the heirachy in religious circles; those at whose mouth the Word of God is expected to be found. They are the ones that turn around and persecute God's apostles (the inner church). Because these ones who are sent of God are actually doing what God wants which they(the religious folk) refuse or are unable to do because of selfishness.

Who pressured government to remove miracles from local TV? Why were our big preachers comfortable with it? Do you think  govt is bothered about miracles? Does Obasanjo know Pst Chris?

Some say, How come there are many accusations against this man? There must be an elament of truth. Ok what was the element of truth in the accusations against Jesus. They lied against him, accusing him of breaking the law and using the power of demons to work miracles. They were all lies spoken by the mouth of men who let satan use them.

Persecution is a promise from God. It is needed. It is proof that yours is a Jesus ministry. Why will Satan persecute you when you are not causing havok to His kingdom?

You will say should we see wrong and keep quiet. No there is a proper way of doing things. Pray. Approach the person or your leaders if need be.
I beleive in prayer and fasting. God does answer prayer. He is not dead as some will have us think.

I remember recently in the CEC satelite church where i currently worship, i was discussing with one of the leaders where he pointed out that he was not comfortable with our having to go to the headquarter church for all-night prayers when we could have our's at our local church with a greater attendance of our brethren. 'Lets pray about it then' was my reply. Guess what? That same month, we were given permission to hold the monthly all-night at our church.

Very recently too, I was concerned about the way services in our church went. Week after week they seemed to be all about laying hands, people falling everwhere, chairs scattered about,  some injuring themselves, casting out devils and so on, with little room for meditation or appropriation of the message preached by the bretheren.

I saught the face of God one saturday night. I groaned in prayer. I asked that His will only be done in our church. No showmanship. I asked that He manifested in power among us to bring order that everything be done according to His leading. Let men be subject to his working i prayed. Guess what? Service the following day was powerful. The word came in power to rebuke, correct, transform and uplift. I couldnt hold my joy as I shouted every now and then during the service. No hand was layed on no one but you could not mistake the power that was present in that place. It has been that way since. The past sunday, just a few people had hands laid on them. It was very powerful, refreshing and not dissorderly at all.

Dont get me wrong, I am all for the demonstration of the spirit and power; i have been used of God severally in that direction. But things should be done as He leads. I love my local church pastor. He is yielded to the Spirit. I show my love and respect for him always and I lift him up always in prayers. I am a major support and encouragement to him and the work he is called to do. He loves and respects me too. As per financial support? let me not even go there.

So my dear, coming here to 'warn' believers to stay away from one who is called and annointed to do what he is about is Satanic. Talk to God instead. He hears and answers prayer.

Thank God i was able to participate in the live program. WOW! the power of the Spirit over the internet.

I know something has happened inside of me. The words came like fire right into my soul. I have been meditating on them since. Glory to Jesus.

And i pray for Pastor Chris and other true servants of God. That God will keep them, and uphold them with His right hand. Open more doors of opportunity for them to speak boldly and shake this world before the king returns. I pray that they might be delivered always from wicked and unreasonable men who do not have faith. The mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped. Their teeth shall be scattered within their mouths that they decieve the people no more. They that dig a pit for God's servants shall fall into it. AMEN

I actually have thought on those lines recently. He most probably has shamlessly begun miltiplying himself thru different IDs on these threads.

I first noticed it when he refered to Rev Ken's rellocation from SA as a grand plot to escape prosecutiion by the SA authorities. Not long after, another thread comes up by a fresh poster siting some article and drawing the same conclusions with more gist in sir John's usual manner. Of course Sir john was there to contribute to the thread. That was when i knew this guy will stop at nothing until he has destroyed both himself and his hearers.

I was at CEC Abuja in 2006 (i worked in ABJ then) when SEC Gen, Rev Ray announced that CEC will be starting up at Texas and that Rev Ken has been asked to go there.

Sir John has perfected the art of mixing up facts with lies. He thinks he will escape.
By the time satan is finished with you, you will look for rest, where to hide and find none.

I think what they imply is that Christians should leave their door open at night and go to bed because angels are on guard. They should park thier cars and leave the doors open with angels on guard as they leave for the eatery.

Na so. How much money did the reverend fathers who were killed a few years ago right in their churches have?

I remembr the story about a certain lawyer who followed Pst Chris at the airport throwing insults at him at the top of his voice. Of course he didnt get any attention as according to the MOG, he didnt deserve any. So we should allow our pastors to be insulted by people whe are looking for attention or where to vent their frustrations abi? Imagine the guy grabbing and pulling at the Pst's shirt and giving him blows. Ok i should stand aside and speak in tongues abi? U try. Of course the men with Pst chris wouldnt let him come as close as that. I mean' is that not why they were employed? . . . to teach fools like that guy how to behave?

Pst Chris as we all know has enemies. The message he is called to preach and the calling with which has been called attracts persecution of the highest levels. He is unafraid to confront whatever he thinks is not of God. Be it message or ideology and that dosnt go down well with some. I remember when my dad held a common state appointment years ago. He recieved threat calls and letters. How much more one who has confronted authorities, in government, the society and even the church with the message he preaches?

It is not that he is afraid or that he requested any such securtiy. But the church leadership wouldnt even permit him to move around without. It is not wrong, it is the Spirit of greatness. I remember David's mighty men who would restrain David from going to fight. . . they said, 'lest the light of Isreal be put out'. The harvest is plenteous, we are just beginning and there is still much land to conquer. I very well know that pastor Chris knows that God does not save by sword or spear or gun. Afterall, he preaches in open air crusades a lot of times. Why fear, when your life is in God's hands. He is Jehovah saboath!

Why did Jesus escape sometimes when they wanted to kill him. he said His time had not yet come. Yes. . . but he escaped. Why did he not call down His angels or fire from heaven? Is it because he couldnt.

The article lets me know that God isn't through with me yet, untill I am fully conformed to the image of His son Jesus Christ.

We actually inherit all that our father has (and not just in a way).  We are hiers of God and joint hiers with Christ. And this isn't something to be shy or timid about.

However, we are not to be attached to any worldly treasure or pleasure for whosoever lives that way is not worthy of the kingdom. That is not the way to prosper. God expects us to have money and lots of it but money isn't supposed to have us. That is how you can guaranty its continuous flow. Friendship with the world is enenmity with God. Why will you begin to pursue worldly lusts when you know the end of those things- destruction. Money in the hands of one who sees himself as an ambassador of heaven will surely move the kingdom forward. That is why he continues to abound in grace, favour and abundance and the pharisees are confused(or should i say envious) and begin to find faults. The poor man's wisdom is not heard and that is why God prospers His servants. I refuse to be poor!

While you are busy quoting scriptures of self denial, some are already living it.

We do not pursue these things, they follow us as we do the Word. In fact, we do not pray for prosperity or give so that the father will prosper us for prosperity is ours by inheritance. Our giving is by faith in response to the word which refers to us as kings, children of Abraham (possesor of heaven and earth), partakers of the divine nature and heirs according to the promise.

For whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

The bible tells us that of His fullness have we all recieved and grace for grace.

According to the bible, we are not trying to be prosperous, we already are.

Then why are you offended at us who have taken a hold of this truth and live in the conciousness of it daily.

Let me help you. . . it's frustration. It's like the one who has prayed for years to recieve the Holy Spirit but hasn't yet recieved. He opened his mouth to recieve utterance to speak in tongues but nothing came. He now says the gift is not for today and if he sees someone who he thinks he is better than exercising the same gift. He is offended and begins to find faults.

Relax, The Word is for all of us. Enjoy your life. . . this eternal life which has been given to us who believe IS REAL.

Set not your affections on the things of this world ; which things perish, but set your affections on things that are above where christ seateth. For we have a place right there in Him at the right hand of God! Its a place of Honour, power and praise.

God sees the heart, he knows those whom he can trust with the wealth of the kingdom, so he delivers it into thier hands. The World is mine!

The mockers shall be put to shame. And all they that blaspheme shall eat their own words for God resisteth the proud but gives grace to the humble.

First of all, define what your purpose in life is (which definitely isn't marriage) and then ensure that you are about fulfilling that purpose.

Every other thing you need in order to better fulfil that purpose including a husband will fall into place for you as long as your heart is set on Jesus. Do not be carnally minded but be filled with the Spirit for if you are, the choice of a life partner for you wouldn't become a nairaland issue for disscussion.

You dont need to roam around looking for who will marry you. First be seperated unto God, fill your heart with Love for Jesus and his work. As long as you are in tune with the Spirit, you will know who is who and who you should Spend your life with for
He never lies. His peace will guide your heart and mind always.

Jesus talked about two men who built houses. One on the rock; the other on sand. The storm came, one fell and the other remained standing.

For those of us who are called of God; those of us who are truely christ's; we have counted all but dung. We have laid all at His feet. Nothing counts in the presence of Christ. Nothing is too big to surrender to him. I have tried it before without him; it was full lof struggle, pain anxiety and fear. And even though some may have called me prosperous, I knew it wasnt the working of the Spirit who gives grace.

He is my all. Nothing is too much to surrender to him. I have no life of my own for I was crucified with Him. I have only one life to live now, it is the life of Christ who lives in me. I live it for jesus only. Only then can my soul find rest, joy, satisfaction and peace. I have no strength of my own. But with him, even though a troop came against me, i will not be moved. They'll stumble and fall.

Christ in me is the Hope of Glory!

Well dats 4 u. . . cos every once in a while i popped in unnoticed to c wat u guys were up to n o'course get some inspiration.

I also noticed some interjections of demon possesed folks here and there. Well it is not new. The bible tells us dat when the sons of God were gathered, satan also came among them. . .  so dont be suprised and remember not to get distracted from what u are called to do. Na busy-bodi wey dem b. No purpose for living . . . that is why they became tools in satan's hands. You just keep up the good word, work, and walk.

And boy!!!!! For me it's been one level of glory to another. Satan thought he could mess with me in November '08 when i had a car crash a 3rd time with my official car. The second was deadly, but the third, even more deadly. Was driving into town with a friend when i ran into a pot-hole, tires bursted, i hit a pavement and summersaulted almost 10 times. The car was damaged beyond repair but we both came out unhurt. 2 days later, i was on my way to IPPC. Its too late for the devil. He's a looser.

Dont mind these fakes, satans agents parading as agents of light, claiming to have once given their all to God and seem to be worse-off. Not my Jesus!  Each time i give, i move higher. In fact, i am currently laying down plans and strategies on how to outdo all my past givings in 2008 put together. Glory!

Towards the end of last yr, if you were close to me and you lacked the Spirit, you will curse me to my face bc of the dangerous givings i carried out. I was out to frustrate the devil and boy i tell you; he takes off anywhere i show up. I arrived my country home for christmas and went to see the Man of God in that city; the pastor of CEC there who actually raised me as a christian. Of course i am not a child, I went with gifts and i dont mean hankies. I mean it cost me! And i can remember His words I want to hear that you are doing great things over there. On our way out of his office, he called me great man. And boy, I'm already reaping the harvest of those words.

I remember i once mentioned to my superior where i work (in November '08) and to my mum (in Decenber '08) that within the next 4 months i will be promoted; whether it was within the company or outside on a bigger job; i will move forward. What audacity! That was the spirit of the Lord! Last month i got promoted. I am expecting a brand new car in week's time. Satan is defeated!

After receiving the new year's message of 7 fold increase and dropping more seeds, I knew 2009 is made. I lambanoed it. In the second week of January 2009, I got my personal office. It's in a beautiful location. I did not enter two places before choosing this one. The agent took me there and the Spirit told me it was there. I paid the same day. I bought my furniture, equipments and i have started business already. Gloooorryyyyyy!!!

These days i hear God speak to me clearly. I declare words and they come to pass. What more could i ask for? I'm blessed!!

Not by Power, Not by Might, But by My Spirit Saith the Lord.

I heard His Dad was an anointed man of God and I believe he is too.
However, i don't think he'll deny the fact that he is a motivational speaker as much as he is an evangelist of the gospel of Jesus Christ. . .
Just my own thinkin though.

He that believeth not is condemned already!

Rom 7:7-9 tells us that without the law, there is no consciousness of sin. Therefore, the one without the law is judged without the law.

That answers the Q about those who have never heard the gospel or had a chance to believe. They'll be judged by their consciences. But having heard and rejected truth, there is condemnation.

If u understand the different dispensations:

Dispensation of Conscience, Like in the days of Abraham, when there was no law, but they related with God and were judged by their conscience (without the law).
Dispensation of The Law, The dispensation of Moses.
Dispensation of Grace, Christ came with abundance of grace.

That is why we are commanded to preach the gospel in and out of season so that all will hear for until it is preached as a witness to all nations,  Christ will not come.

That is because he has the same attributes of that 'Angel of His presence',  the Holy Ghost, who manifests God's presence wherever that presence is needed. Remember Jesus said he will send Another comforter (Gk., meaning one of the same kind). They (Father, Son and Holy Ghost) are one remember?[

You could recall, that Jesus said, Before Abraham was I was.

That is not what he said. He actually said, before Abraham was, I AM. He used the same Name that God (That same Angel of His presence) used when he spoke to Moses from the burning bush. That is why they picked up stones to kill him bc he equated himself with God. If what he meant was that he was alive on earth before Abraham, they could have just laughed it away calling him a mad man.

When u say u observe 'what they do' i wonder what u use to observe. If it is ur eyes, i think u probably need a check-up as they may be funtioning abnormally. Perhaps u should slowdown on d number of junk magazines u read.
I went to CEC not because of the miracles. As a matter of fact, i hadnt seen one miracle until i started attending church. i even thought they didnt happen anymore these days.

I only heard a message tape by Pastor Archie of CEC Aba and had my life turned around for good.
I attended my first crusade (Totoal experience PH in 1999) as a sceptic even though i was a member of the church. I remember arriving the liberation stadium which main gate was about being shut as the crowds had filled the stadium ever befor the program began.
On entering the compound we noticed that the mail bowl was already filled up and its gates were shut.
I and my friend jumped over the fence and into  the stadium. On entering the stadium, it was a different atmosphere. I had never felt such a presence of the Spirit. The very air was saturated with the annointing of God's Spirit.  Even though i didnt know what it was then, i knew there was something different about the atmosphere.

And the message came powerfully, i had never heard such words before. He preached from the book of hebrews chapter 12: . . .looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. I will never forget the words of the MOG, 'look away from that sickness. . . look away from the pain. . . look way from that sin . . . unto Jesus. That was it; i knew i ws made for life. I knew i cld look away from my pack of Benson & hedges, from my bottle of star, from my sins and unto jesus. I suddenly knew i cld be whoever i wanted to be in life!

Then when the time of prayer came, i found myself (the chief sceptic) praying along and interceeding for the sick. And as the MOG by the Spirit began to mention cases that were being heald, i found myself praying, 'oh god please let it be so, let them truely be heald, don't disgrace the man'. And boy was i glad when they began to come out, explaining to the medical crew and pastors what the Lord had done. As usual, they couldnt take all the testimonies that night as the testimony lines were endless.

If you choose to look for false preachers, CEC is not the right place to start. Go look for those who sell hankies and groudnut oil to their congregation for healing. look for those who recieve payment for doing what God sent them to do.

The duo whom u guys have set out to criticize are doing good all around the world even as i speak. While these are busy giving to the poor, needy, weak, helpless, urphans, widows etc, others are out-doing themselves to buy the latest jets and own the largest buildings (i do not say it's wrong to own jets or beautiful buildings). Some others have gone into politics.

CEC has several innercity mission houses and schools where people are taken in from off the streets and given better lives with free education,clothing and feeding.
They give out ministry materials like rhapsody in millions all around the world.

Recently, on the 22nd of december 2008, president umaru Musa Yaradua awarded the man TB Josuah the National honours award for his outstanding service to Humanity, to the poor and  defenceless in society. His lovely wife was present to recieve the award of Officer of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (OFR) on his behalf.

While i think the award was long overdue, i want to say thank u to our dear president and i pray that according to the Holy scriptures, he will recieve the reward of a prophet for honouring a prophet.

By the way, what happened to the political lobyists, PFN? how did they let that happen?

What can i then say . . . SHAME TO BAD-BELLE PEOPLE.

So, if we want to look for false prophets, i think we know where to start looking from.
