Curse? no no no a thousand times, No.
Read the passage for yourself. God couldnt curse them 'cos he had already blessed them. He simply told them the consequences of their actions.
He rather cursed the groung for Adam's sake and turned to the serpent and cursed him.
The scriptures are clear about this.

It isnt the will of God for women to experience much pain or complications during child birth.
I'm grateful to God who has given me the oppportunity of hearing testimonies from women who gave birth withou any labour whatsoever.

It happend in d old testament and its still happenin in our day. I hv witnessed over d past couple of months several women givng birth right on d prayer line in few seconds without any labour whatsoever @ d Synaguge church of all nations. Imagine watchin a live service on TV; d MOG TB Josuah stops the message abrutly, stretching his hand towards a lady with an 11 month pregnancy who came to be prayed for for safe delivery and woosh. . . water gushed out n then, d baby came out right in front of everyone. For the first time i witnessed a live delivery n it ws a glorious one, in less than 15 seconds!
She was told by d doctors dt she would have to be operated upon as she cldnt deliver normally. And guess what, as d baby came out, we sw d umblical cord wraped around her neck.k.

There's still very much we christians are yet to learn b4 the rapture takes place.k.

That notwithstandiing, i believe it is christian to bless and not to curse. That dosnt mean that the Spirit cant take over and bring about discipline and the fear of God whenever he wishes.
That is the Spirit of the fear of the Lord for you and you need to watch out for that Spirit for when he is in operation, he enforces obedience.
So the question should rather be if the MOG was inspired or not. If he was, those guys are finished if they don't comply!

I have never had doubt about the facts of scripture.definitely one as obvious as the fact that the man Jacob wrestled with God. However the scripture explains itself (u remember that no scripture is of any private intepretation and therefore shouldnt be treated in isolation if it is to form part of our doctrine) in Hosea 12:2-5 where we see that the man wept and made suplication unto God. He wrestled with God in prayer and supplication and prevailed.
In the above scripture, He is refered to as the angel. But that was the same angel that appeared to Jacob before Jericoh saying, I am captain of the Lord's Host. That same angel (the Lord) paid his grandfather Abraham a visit in the company of others. He came in the form of a man. There have been several of such vivitations in scriture and the bible tells us to expect such even in the new testament.
He appeared unto Moses in the burning bush and unto Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the midst of the fire (the one whom the king likened unto the son of God).

Who's hrd that message before? I have and in fact, 4 d past few days, i've bn at it, fellowshipping wth fresh annointing of the Spirit .

I think it has to do with setting prioroties right. RCCG has come of age. they are not a poor church like the one back there is the book of acts someone cited.

The verse is not confusing et al. . . all d answers r in the Holy scriptures.

Of course evil spirits exist; and so does witchcraft. However the bible refers to witchcraft as a work of the flesh -Galatians 5:20.

Apart from that, i have come in contact with some witches and even seen their work demonstrated.

This however doesn't warrant the undue attention they are given these days in some quarters, even within Christianity.

They are of a lesser breed and stand the risk of having their wings clipped and their work frustrated by any Christian who knows who he is.

TV, satelite, internet, they employ the latest kind of technology and the world cannot help but follow and this has even made them the envy of older TV

They buy up failing TV stations and bring life back into them and they become number one in the country. That is the excellent spirit at work my dear.

If it is print media they are number one and the rest of the people learn and follow, they employ the kind of excellence that will make you marvel.

They own institutions (inner-city) where children are taken off the streets and sent to. They are fed, clothed, accommodated and given sound education

free of charge. Prostitutes, drug addicts are given new lives. They are fed, clothed and accommodated, and made to live normal lives.

That is why they call for meetings and millions gather, the kind of crowds that even the president or any performing artist cannot dream of gathering.

How wouldnt the people follow someone who is concerned about their well being.

The best schools in the country today are owned by the churches (Winners chapel, RCCG, Church of God mission, Roman catholic church and so on).

The sick, Dwarfs, widows and the rejected of government and society now have hope because of men like TB Josuah.

Righteousness is preached and the fear of God is instilled in the people and rather than give thanks to God, you come and spew out this rubbish.

Well, the event has come and gone but the news of its impact is still reverberating all over the place.

I heard the excel center in London had to be shut at 5pm for a program billed to start at 7pm. Can u imagine? It hasn't been heard of before that people had to be turned back for a religious program. The doors were shut and the people locked in.

Three railway stations were shut down and announcements were made asking those who were on their way to the excel center to turn back.

They had never seen such a crowd at that place.

Some critics said those things could only happen in Africa. . . well i guess God's changing the tide.

The bible said, Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. From what i understand from your long post, you went to church simply out of curiosity and not to seek Jesus for he hath said seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you, ask and you shall recieve.

It is easy to see profanity on display in your write-up but if you ever meet Jesus, your knees will buckle. You'll fall flat on your face and weep with trembling.

That you did not receive salvation or the infilling of the Holy Spirit shouldn't now become the problem of nairalanders. Afterall, there are many who have received this great gift of God freely and are doing exploits around the world in his name.

According to the scriptures, there are those who have been appointed unto salvation and those who are simply vessels unto destruction. They exist in the earth because there is need for some balance in the ecosystem. I sincerely hope you are not one of them.

What you are attempting to trivialize is way beyond the human mind for God is a Spirit and they that worship him must do so in Spirit (by the Holy Ghost) and in truth (the WORD). Worship that is not sanctified by the Spirit of God and based on the Word is unacceptable to God. Even though some recipients have certain sensual experiences, Salvation is not a feeling, neither is the annointing.

You must first receive salvation and be born again. When your Spirit is recreated with the life of God by the Holy ghost, it wouldn't be a problem believing and acting on God's word, receiving those things which he has freely made available in Christ. Apart from this is flesh flesh flesh, sin sin sin, wrath upon wrath upon wrath which will be revealed at the end when your name is blotted out of the book of life and you are left to face the consequences of your disobedience.

It is my prayer that the mighty Spirit of God will manifest himself to you in power, bringing you to the full knowledge of God and His son Jesus Christ.

The new creation is not born after the 1st Adam but after the 2nd Adam. According the bible, the 1st Adam was made a living soul but the 2nd (Jesus Christ), a life-giving Spirit (1cor 15:14). We were born with his life and nature in us when we were born again (1John 5:11-12).

All over the world it isn't unusual to hear a preacher scream these words from a microphone or gramophone to an expectant congregation who usually express their agreement with a loud ameeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen.

While i am in agreement with the fact that it is the will of God to provide for His kids, i certainly do not agree that those words describe the message of the new testament as taught by the apostles of Jesus as the new testament believer aught not to be about looking for or trying to get God to do anything for him but should be about discovering what has already been given (as the scriptures already declare that all things are ours in Christ), who he/she has become having received the life of God, and what God expects from him having become a member of the body of Christ and of the Kingdom of God.

He is saying that when it comes to a time when you will have to choose between following His will or following family, there your love is tested. You must be willing to follow him with or without family, friends, houses, lands, or whatever material possesions.


Jesus said that he who puts his hand to the plough and turns back is not worthy of the kingdom.

You must be willing to forsake anything and everything when the need arises. Nothing should be too dear for you to give away for the Kingdom.

Jesus said, he who seeks to save his life will loose it but he who looses his life for the gospel's sake will find it.

How sad, he did not have faith. For if he knew who it was that told him to go sell all he's got, he'll run off immediately to perform the task.

Unfortunately too, this is where many religious folk usually stop in the reading of this passage and they say oh, no rich man shall enter heaven but the passage dosn't end here!

The bible says Jesus loved him and asked him to go sell all he's got and give to the poor but he did not know it was out of love that the command was given. Look at the remaining part lof the passage. . .




26And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved?

27And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.

Can you now see why many of the great men of God who have forsaken all are greatly blessed and of course with plenty plenty persecution? Of course the world does not understand this type of prosperity so they fight it.

I believe we should plead the blood because i believe in its power to save, heal and deliver but i do not believe in the way and manner many Christians these days go about this pleading or sprinkling ( which i totally disagree with).

The scripture that says we overcame by the blood is not recommending that we chant the blood the blood because apart from the inspiration you may get by chanting (ie if you were led of the Spirit to do so), it does not mean you actually pleaded the blood. What the scripture is saying is that we overcame by faith in the blood.

The most appropriate way to plead the blood as Jesus taught us is to break bread and drink wine. He said you bring to remembrance his death by breaking bread. . . oh hallelujah! Therefore all of heaven will see to it that you get the benefits of that death and glorious resurrection Glory to God! And you do not need to wait for a church service to take the communion. You can do it anywhere, at home with your family, in your cell group, with a few believers, or all by yourself. As long as you are born-again, you qualify!

For those who sprinkle the blood on the express way. . . you are on your own o!

The high priest has already done that once and for all on the mercy seat in heaven! According to the bible, you do not have that blood in your hands to sprinkle at will whenever and wherever.

You have fully expressed your religiousity; however the theme message of the gospel is life.
This was why he came; to bring us life . That eternal life, the life of God (Zoe) which was with the father was manifested to us in Christ Jesus.

It is this eternal life that is made available to all who believe whether bond nor free.

This is the gospel and not that MORALITY thing you are trying to bring forward. If it was morality, Nichodemus would not have needed to seek for Jesus.

If you say you are a Christain, you should know what it is you have believed and ask God for His Holy Spirit so you can understand and fully demonstrate that life freely and in love through the Word so that the world may see and come to your light.

So you put the horse before the cart and not the other way round.

If it is the same people Weleiza is referring to, and if it is the same Jesus we are talking about here, they should first leave their petitions and gifts at the alter then go and repent and receive forgiveness; make peace before returning to make their requests. For he that eats of this bread or drinks of this wine unworthily eats and drinks damnation unto himself.
