Police is the same in all part of the world, for we to think that of Nigeria is the worst, total overhauling of the entire system is what they need.

Police arent the same all over the world please. The ones from Nigeria takes the cake when it comes to corruption, indiscipline, and outright abuse of authority and power.
Im of the opinnion this so called test is just a façade. If the police system in Nigeria be revamped,it must start from the top down the rank and file.
Likewise the Acts and Decrees that make them constitute public nuisance be readdressed and possibly repealed.

Like seriously, they needed to have done this long time ago. Most of our policemen on the road are worst than those patients at Aro or Yaba left. Imagine a policeman wearing a slippers with his uniform and carrying a gun?

I've seen some taking bottle of Guinness (about 6 big bottles) on duty, (though in a bar) and still carrying a gun. Some, their uniform is worst than mechanic uniform.

Therefore, our police institution needs to be reform and clean out. A better police system will uphold the justice system in the country.

Personally i find the story hard to believe.
No facts nor evidences besides supposed verbal allegations of the other 4 as presented by the hospital management. Nigerians shouldn't use their biased opinnion on doctors in general to judge this mans case

Its also very possible Dr Owolabi could have been set up remember hes in foreign land and not home.

The accusers and his supposed defence attorney seem to be in cahoot if you ask me.How will your attorney be asking "kissing ( could be cheek to cheek),hugging, be added to list of sexual offences"?. While your client is already in hot water and not allowed to "comment" according to the story.

Has anyone asked if Dr Owolabi was in fact 'very familiar 'with those whose statements ( for whatever reason) were taken to make a case against his person? If im to consult a nephew or cousin or close relation, after.coming for pap smear test and i inform such theres nothing to be worried about... wont my supposed client express herself in a friendly manner?

There are just too many angles to this story... however owolabi simply need to pray for deliverance from his adversaries.

One billion likes!!!

Check my previous posts!! That CBN governor, Emefiele is the worst CBN governor ever !!! The dude just has to go.

Cutting down interest rates is a key policy used in situmating growth in any economy undergoing tough economic times (recession).

Bank of England recently reduced its interest rates to 0.25% from 0.5% after the brexit vote!! This is the country's lowest interest rate ever on record. Do you know the great impact that had on the economy? The positive ripple effect is felt in all sections of the economy. Mortage rates reduced for those on variable rates which meant people had more disposable income. Lower interest rates also benefits businesses. I can go on and on.

Honestly, Emefiele has to go. Why Buhari hasn't fired him is just want I do not understand. angry angry angry

This has been my call out since however his kinsmen and tribalist labelled me as unjust but rather Kemi should be showm the door.
Read the lame rationale of Emefiele for the declining of the reasonable opinnion of the finance minister :
" The CBN governor said the committee was of the view that in the past when the rates were reduced to achieve these objectives, it was later discovered that rather than deploy the available liquidity to provide credit to agriculture and manufacturing sectors, it provided opportunities for lending to traders who deployed the same liquidity in putting pressure on the foreign exchange market.
This, he lamented, resulted into limited supply of foreign exchange, thus pushing up the exchange rate.
He, however, lamented that the purpose for which the funds were deployed by the banks was not in line with the objective of the CBN.

Ask them who's at fault when the" selected traders" diverted the proceeds of reduced interest rate to forex? Na dem dem and the Politicians who in turn launders same through Nigerian banks.

Thank God for TSA full implementation.

It exposed the weak and crooked tendencies of Nigerian bank sharp practises, especially when it comes to how they raise capital bases through corrupt politicians and their allies.

Emefiele must go!!!...Charles Soludo is much more intelligent and purposeful than him i swear.

The law states you can only own a licenced double barrel shotgun.

Dane guns firing shells are allowed since you don't stand a chance in hell with that crap.

But that doesn't stop the fulanis from getting Ak-47 assault rifles.

Got married to my husband three years ago and some months, but my three years of marital bliss is nothing but confusion...

I met him on Facebook in 2008 and we met in person late 2011 and we got married in February 2013, but the person I thought I knew was a total stranger.. After our marriage I got to know my hubby do bed wet, but I take it with a good fate and started praying along with him.

I gave birth to my son August 2013, after the birth of my son, my loving husband started his fornication in 3d without control, I pray I begged, and even fought with him to tell me what am doing wrong but all these led to him beating the hell out of me, leaving me with bruises...

In Dec 2014, I caught him with a secret phone with over 50 contact which is only female contact from Eskimi dating site and some other place...I was very hurt so will had a big fight over it, but later settled... but after everything there is this particular lady that my hubby refused to let go, for the reason known to them, he flaunts their relationship in a coded way but I do find out...the problem now is any time I confront my hubby with this girl's issue, he will deny it and even curse myself if he has anything to do with her..anytime we had any disagreement now first thing he says is I should leave him and go..

I'm really confused, is it man ego or there is no love left in my marriage?. This is the man I accepted in his darkest moment and I still keep my mouth shut abt his bedwetting thingz..pls note: we are still struggling to move forward, so money is not involved o...my son spent last term at home coz of money..

And what stopped you from separating? Any valid logical reason?
Foreign Affairs / Trump’s Musings About Nigeria: Hilarious Yet Embarrassingly True. by donodion(m): 10:25am On Aug 19, 2016
By LASISI OLAGUNJU
When I said the November 8 election would be rigged, Obama said my statement was ridiculous. He is dumb. What does he know about election rigging. Has he heard of Nigeria before? I mean, that is one country that has a robust history of election infractions and I have taken my time to study how they do it. I had to, especially when I know they are Obama’s second cousins. You know Nigerians and Kenyans look alike. grin grin grin grin Look at them again. They are capable of anything. So, I read them and use them as template in assessing what guys may be planning here.

Obama said it was ridiculous, that he didn’t understand what I meant. I said so, he is dumb. lipsrsealed If he doesn’t understand anything, why can’t he read? At least I spoke with Washington Post’s Rucker last week. Brilliant fellow — although all journalists are the same — they don’t like Trump — just look at the CNN — I call that one Clinton News Network. They hate Trump. They are haters. Every minute, it is Clinton positive and Trump negative. If I have my way, I would import a Nigerian military law that says jail for journalists who embarrass public figures. Or I simply close down their television stations and newspapers. Anyway, they are even dying. Twitter is killing them every minute. And I am the master there. I tweet away their lies. But they don’t know. What really do they know? They are too inebriated in their anti- Trump project to notice that it is getting dark in their world.

Yes. Obama should have read my Post interview. I exposed their rigging plans. Or, maybe, he is pretending. Anyway, whatever – I explained to the Post that the voter ID situation has turned out to be a very unfair development. I said we may have people vote 10 times. Listen to what I said: It’s inconceivable that you don’t have to show identification in order to vote or that that the identification doesn’t have to be somewhat foolproof. I mean, I wouldn’t be surprised if the election is rigged. There’s a lot of dirty pool played at the election, meaning the election is rigged. they’re fighting as hard as you can fight so that that they don’t have to show voter ID. So, what’s the purpose of that? How many times is a person going to vote during the day? If you don’t have voter ID . . . Multiple times. How about like 10 times. Why not? If you don’t have voter ID, you can just keep voting and voting and voting.

That is what I said in the Washington Post interview and a lot of haters think I don’t know what I am saying. Look, I said I have studied all scenarios. You want to know if I sent investigators to Nigeria as I claimed I did with Hawaii in April 2011? You remember that episode? They were jittery then because I was going to burst their birther lie. And why didn’t I? That is not a story for today. Was I in Nigeria? The Nigerians are fantastic people. In that country, if you have enough money, you can hijack any of their political parties and buy or shoot your way to power. It does not matter whether you gave or have any clue or not. Money and bullets do it in that country. Yes, I took the Republican Party from the bosses. But I didn’t shoot anyone. I didn’t steal it. I mean, I just took it. They were dumb. They are still dumb. I gave them enough notice.

Back to my Washington Post interview. I chose my words in that interview from the Nigerian political lexicon. Rigging; Multiple voting; Voter ID – they actually call that one PVC — Permanent Voter Card. Even Nigerians, crooked as Hillary, now give what they call PVC to voters and they pretend showing it at their elections. And, has that helped them? They still vote and vote and vote. And there is no standard – children vote there and no one complains — including the unfair media- since they do pre-election agreement with everyone on who should be made winner. Ridiculous. That is what I won’t take here. Imagine what I saw at the beginning of this business – in Louisiana and Colorado. The more votes I won in those states, the fewer the delegates. Crooks! I stopped them. As I told the Post, I am now accustomed to the world of politics and I will continue to run them off the stage. They ain’t seen nothing yet. embarassed embarassed embarassed embarassed embarassed embarassed

Someone said in Nigeria that when a politician raises the kind of rigging alarm like the one I raised, all eyes shift to that person. He is the one planning to rig. Crooked people. Are they related also to Hillary? Why should the whistle blower be the criminal? Anyway, I did not become a billionaire by being dumb. Their American brother will soon find out.

And, you know what, there are so many similarities between what they do in Nigeria and what I see in our country. Last month, they said a former minister was caught on camera loading millions of dollars into a chartered plane to bribe some officials and voters in a state in Nigeria. And just on Wednesday, I told a rally that “I woke up and I saw 400 million dollars … being flown to Iran,” And I shouted: “Folks, what’s going on here? What’s going on?” Imagine, I watched that tape, I called it a perfect tape of the people taking the money off the plane. So, what do you call that? Nigerianisation of America! They load in Nigeria, we offload in Iran. I won’t take that. We must make America great again.

Liars. They said I lie all the time and explain it all away with a tweet. Do I lie? Look. I say what I think. One hater even said I am worse than a liar. He called me a bullshit artist, enemy of truth. That means what? Someone who is crazy, someone who can’t identify reality at all. They don’t know anything. If they want bullshit artists, they should go to Nigeria. There, there is even no reality to connect with. Everything is unreal. The cleaner, the dirtier. Biggest economy in Africa, worst case of suffering. That is why I am shouting. We must save America. There won’t be a third term for Obama through Hillary.

They also said people fight at my campaigns; why can’t they just wake up and read me well. I said I use the Nigerian template. And, there has been no major casualty with me. My people only punch the faces of trouble makers. My haters should go to Nigeria. They shoot guns there — worse than Orlando. They also say I get back at people, that I do not turn the other cheek. Is politics some sort of soul-winning evangelism? I don’t want to lose my hearing. I may be a good student of Nigerian politics, but I am not a Nigerian who does not care if he goes deaf. If there is anything I cherish, it is my ears. Super functioning just like my mouth. That was why I properly heard and gave it back to those Muslims- Khans or what is their name? Imagine, that man abused me on Hillary’s stage and I abused him back on my own stage and the unfair press said I was wrong. How unfair! If it were in Nigeria, someone would be nursing some real, raw wounds now.

What nonsense! angry angry angry angry

The brutalized man in the photos above is believed to be a Nigerian man accused of being part of a robbery gang that terrorized citizens in Monrovia, the Liberian capital. He was caught after an alleged botched robbery on Monday August 15th. A Liberian, Arrington Ballah, who put up the pics wrote;

"This guy is alleged to be a member of a robbery group that has a black four-door pickup moving around Monrovia. Unfortunately, on Monday, August 15,2016 they had an unsuccessful mission that led him to how you see him in this photo. Before I arrived on the scene, it was said that one of the guys managed to escape into the 72nd Community swamp (directly opposite the new health ministry in Congo Town with with the fire arm they use for operation. He was never found.

However, the angry crowd managed to get this guy (believed to be a Nigerian National) and brutalized him as you can see. Thanks to the LNP for having this guy transferred to the Police Station and listening to my advice. The unidentified black car escaped and on lookers alleged that the car was taken off by on quote-un-quote white man. The young lady who was victimized, after being thrown out of the car, was rushed to the hospital for treatment. Hummmm! Liberia, Where are we now in terms of security?".

Mrs Nike Akande, President of LCCI called for a friendly tax environment especially in view of the difficult business environment.

“We know that the government is seeking to diversify its revenue base in the light of dwindling oil revenue. But it is also true that the private sector players will like to see an investment friendly tax environment, especially in the light of the prevailing high cost of doing business in the country. It is important to balance these two positions.”

Mr Bimbo Atilola, Chairman, LCCI Taxation and Commercial Law Committee said that the bill negated the principle of neutrality in taxation, as it would affect consumers’ behaviour through reduced spending. He appealed that the passage of the bill be suspended to allow for rapid growth of the telecoms sector, in line with the Nigerian National Broadband Plan.

“If the bill must be passed into law, NASS should make the telecoms sector exempted under VAT Act and the rate reduced from nine per cent to five per cent. There is a need to protect the ultimate interest of the final consumers of the service,” Atilola said.

Mr Taiwo Oyedele, Partner, PriceWaterCoopers said that the N20 billion monthly projected revenue from the bill was unrealistic and based on assumption.

According to him, increased taxation will reduce the consumption pattern of consumers, lower investment in the sector, thereby translating to reduced revenue.

Mr Teniola Olusola, President, Association of Telecommunications Companies of Nigeria (ATCON) said that their members were overburdened with multiple taxation.

He urged the government to discontinue the bill, adding that it would reduce inflow of FDI into the sector, reduce subscribers level of data consumption and affect contribution of the sector to GDP. Engr Gbenga Adebayo, President, Association of Licensed Telecommunication Operators of Nigeria (ALTON) said that the bill if passed into law would retard the growth of the sector.

I totally agree with this President of ATCON, this would worsen the already bad case of double taxation.

Additionally, I think this shows a total lack of ingenuity and ideas. I say so because, here they are, so excited about introducing this as an answer to the drive of the government for revenue, forgetting that those who would have to pay are already crumbling under the weight of poverty and lack. They just cannot think of alternative ways of bolstering the economy, so, they gloss over the problem and take the easy route which would culminate in adding more stress to people.

The most painful part of it all is that, this sounds like a bill which President Buhari would speedily give his assent to.

I doubt sincerely. Just a stupid suggestion from an incompetent man at the helms of affairs.

3. You get your driving license when it is ready.

Minimum age is totally dependent on how tall you are

If Nigerian Police Officers have respect and value for their profession, privates/soldiers, in mufti or otherwise would not mess with them as the law would cover their lawful action on apprehending the assailants. However they see themselves as inferiors (which unfortunately they are) so long money change hands or some ogas at d top had a meaningless discussion, case dismiss.

NPF should NPS Nigerian Police Services. Rated as a force unit does not and have not help them stamping their authority as Law enforcement agents. Anyway the so called officers in black might even do worse if they were in the shoes of the privates.
