Oscarz, congrats.Be active in your volunteer programme with the N-Power thing. Gather much skills as you could and be very proactive. You see those who condemns and look down on the ' stipend', they have nothing meaningful to offer except excuses and complains. Those irrelevants have two good titles attched to them..i.e " Imbeciles and Morons". All the best my bro. 2 Likes |

This is a way to inform interested private investors that Nigerians love and would embrace mall establishments across various cities in the country. Its big business that yields good returns. Let there be more of this and there would be more interested shoppers coming in from within and outside our borders. Dont mind the hypocrisies, Nigerians live good things. |
Politics / Re: Buhari Moves To Install Barrow As Gambian President. by donodion(m): 6:10pm On Jan 03, 2017 |
All this useless noise been made here against PMB helps no one. If you have relatives or siblings in Gambia, advise they better relocate to neighbouring countries or return home. Jammeh would target foreign citizens of especially West African Countries that are not in his good books for now. Jammeh has become a despot and a despot hardly goes down alone. They take victims of circumstances with tgem. People need to learn from our citizens who got stuck in Libya and caught within the war that had Ghaddafi removed. Many are dead, while some managed to come home. 16 days to inauguration of the new Gambian president. |

DeNovo: Thank you Denovo. Donald Duke is one of the handful good ones that camw out of PDP. His idea of Tinapa and Obudu Ranch project and carnivalmade Cross river state a major tourist attraction in the country. Not long after he left, the management went back ' the Nigerian way..so long things dont work out properly, then some individuals would be benefiting from such anomaly. Donald duke for me is a good option for PMB ministerial cabinet shake up. Hes got the brain power and will unlike some bunch of misfits. Imagine donald duke as minister for sports and youth development, or minister in charge of foreign affairs or Tourism. 1 Like |

chaiks: Apologies for the late response. I havr several reasons to believe in kemi adeosuns capacity as a finance minister of the federation for several reasons, based on her antecedents as former Ogun state commissioner for finance and her roles as a senior manager with price water copper house, a renowned blue chip accounting establishment known globally. Please read more about her here: http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/217606-finance-minister-adeosun-outlines-10-steps-reviving-nigerian-economy.html This woman and her team have equally been staunchly responsible for the blockages of several loopholes where MDCs and various arms of government have continously been robbing the treasury blind through diversion, non record of IGR, taxes. etc in time past till present. Amongst her notable achievements includes but not the least, the 22 point bail out fund compliance for all state governors. We all know how those jackals and foxes constantly receive funds meant for state and L.G infrastructure development and running of state affauts but the monies end up in their private coffers. ...Fayose and co readily comes to mind. Kemi might not be as sound and exposed like the league of Okonjo Iweala ( i respect her knowledge in international fiscal issues) but nine if her policies and ideologies have ever been nor working against the people, unlike Emefiele. |

The minister of budget and national planning should be removed and replaced with someone with good statistical knowledge.=√ We need no prophet to tell us to shake off the current ministry of finance. I know this govt inherited a lot of problems. But there is so much confusion in adeosun=X Emefiele is the one that needs to be replaced. Pmb should be considering contacting Charles soludo by now. He is a home bread economist with vast knowledge of statistics.=√ 100% The ministry of power, housing and works should be splitter separately as it was before. Dalungs English blunder is by the way. How come he spent beyond the allocated budget? Besides he claimed the latter fund was meant for the former, U-23 team, really? This man cannot and will not suffice to be a councillor,as all he does is wait for emoluments and spend it all. Even some church pastorenuers could manage region branches well without having to look up to HQ for funds. This man is amongst those misfits in buharis cabinet.Shame!!!. |
Travel / Re: Immigration To Hike Price For International Passport by donodion(m): 1:27pm On Dec 15, 2016 |
ajoo17: The honest answer to your question and every other citizens is in the quote . It doesn't matter which side of the divide anyone of us is, facts are 1. This is nothing but internal revenue generation. From drivers license, voice and data, forex, taxes, customs duties ( remember some commodities are no longer legally allowed through land border)and now travelling Passport. Incumbent serving ministers are cunning and cleverly pushing the bill to the citizens. They have attempted to hike electricity and fuel but met with stiff resistance. However it will surely come, but covertly. 2. PMB's present administration will surely but definitely suffer all round condemnation from all concerned, friends and foes. We must also remember the loses incured on oil and gas as result of militancy in the Niger Delta region. The political elites are not helping matters with their jumbo size allowances, pensions, salaries, for themselves and their dependants. 2019 indeed is a decisive year. |
Politics / Re: Senate Cuts Down President’s Control Of Nigeria Police Force by donodion(m): 11:05am On Dec 13, 2016 |
Having state police is a good option, but the corrupt tendencies of Nigerian politicians in general, makes the move highly questionable. However he fed. govt still hold the aces with a very simple idea 1. The NPF funding and equipping will become sole responsibilities of each state governors. 2 Fed. govt. should enact a bill that allows formation of the Federal police ( e.g FBI) with superior funding, equiping and power of over rule in certain criminal cases and jurisdiction across the nation..Lobatan. No need for too much grammar. |

Politics / Re: Governor Udom Leaves After Collapse Of Reigners Bible Church Building. PICS by donodion(m): 7:43am On Dec 11, 2016 |
If Nigerians want the instance of building collapse to reduce in number, then they should instigate the State and Fed. govt to hold COREN and NSE reaponsible. Every structural design for residential and commercial structures are 'Designed' by certified and qualified structure engineers, who takes into consideration several parameters such as geo test results, etc. In cases of accidents such as this ( man made unfortunately in my view) the structural engineer, building contractor, geologist, town planning officials who approved the building would be summoned for interrogation and questioning by the engineering council and govt representatives. Whoever is found culpable will be made to face music, fined and jailed, and names published in government gazzette for public awareness. This is how it's done in countries where they take Health qnd safety very seriously. Professionals in the Power industry would fully understand what im stating here. Not just anybody undertake commercial and huge capacity residential contracts abroad. You must be qualified and certified with traceable references. And that also includes the electrical personnel's who would install your electrical cables and terminations.A certificate of compliance, COC would be issued by such person with his licencing practice number stamped on such certificate. Nigeria can and need to get it right. We have the capacity but not the will nor concern to enforce such regulations unfortunately. RIP to the dead. Those are taxpayers gone too soon. |

This is diaappointing and unacceptable on the part of ministry of power. Besides, shortage of gas supply ( thanks but no thanks to gas pipeline explosion qs a result of the militias), the rest in quote could be largely blame on; inefficient, inconsistent and unreliable maintenance practises. For goodness sake what happened to power back in the case of accidents or failed power structure. Yet The DISCOs sought to have tarrif increment with little to nothing worth commending to show for. Every ministries need quartely evaluations, appraisals and or restructure. Who will Fashola blame now? |

Would you have rather they become yahoo scammers, armed robbers, drug pushers, motor park touts or political thugs?. For the first time someone is having a honest and decent means to lively hood, without knowing a political god father or paying to get employment, yet not a shred of appreciation from you few.Indeed its true when they say ' An unappreciative spirit is a spirit of witchcraft'.
