Politics / Re: Jonathan Spent Huge Money To Stop Ambode From Becoming Lagos Governor - Tinubu by donodion(m): 2:23pm On May 11, 2017
Nigerians need to sit, think and ask certain questions.

Why do we need to spend so huge amount of money on election campaigns?

Who are the monies given to and why?

If Candidates were genuinely selected based on qualifications, experience and readiness to serve the people, why the need for a do or die election?

People ( Adult and children) are often declared missing towards election and many times, their missing stories were and are attributed to money rituals, mutilated human body parts, occultism etc. Why?

Nigerians are been ruled and led by thugs, war lords, Area fathers and God fathers, wealthy illiterates, and highly corrupt literate fellows.

It doesn't matter which tribe, check closely and see why we are all messed up as a nation.

Start your observations from who the party leaders are.
Crime / Re: Sister Of Murdered FUT Minna Student: "You Stabbed Her Because Of Food" by donodion(m): 1:47pm On May 11, 2017
When Arowolo allegedly murdered his wife, it was exactly like this... Wife drew knife to fight husband, husband decided not to back down, after all he is the husband. He ran to he kitchen and drew his own. Both got into knife fight, the male been stronger, over powered and stabbed her repeatedly till she ceased breathing.

Observe the scene in this homicide case.Exactly same thing repeated itself.

That lawyer woman in Ibadan that murdered her defenseless husband, knife was also the exhibit provided as murder weapon. Now we can imagine if the late hubby had decided to retaliate by sourcing for knife in defense, perhaps he would have been alive while she, the instigator might not have survived the ordeal.

Uncontrolled anger, would make you do the unexpected.

I don't trust the police.

Anti robbery squad office for that matter!

Thanks bro. This is nothing but hogwash and i stand by it. They "caught armed robbers" ( I've no doubt they are not), left them sitting around in the police station while others attached went for further patrol ( another round of victim raid).
The caught "armed robbers" were not locked up, but left sitting around to the point they FREELY moved around the police station, ransacked officers lockers, stole their " fixed deposit savings" kept at the station and no one on duty to stop the " roberry in progress", until the following morning when other officers for day duty resumed and made their discoveries of the " empty treasury"....Wooooooow !!!.

And who's to be blamed and made a scape goat?..... your guess as good as mine.

Perhaps he was or was not involved directly in the robbery. However I've a bad feelings about this. Why?

When taking up a contract (job) in middle East, they are written in their language and not English. How are we sure this guys legal representative did not wrap up the trial quickly by ensuring 'HE PLEADED GUILTY' through an already prepared statement in Arabic?. A statement the African guy may not even understand one composition?

Remember even in their court, the hearings are done in their lingo and not in English language.

That guys head is gone i tell you.

Nigerians!!! Some of you mocking Naija photojournalist...yet I've never read on this forum from a single person praising a Naija photojournalist who get brutalized by polithiefcian security details..No Not one.

Rather you condemn and insult them, taking pictures of corrupt policemen and women, soldiers brutality, SARS over handedness, etc and for what? "not realising this is Naija and power brokers are accepted by the people to do as they please".

photojournalism is a very high risk career. Dying in the line of duty is a harsh reality unfortunately.

It's the latest Naija trend now. Once some women get plan to waka, they solicit online support with pictures of " how he batterd me, how my husband smashed my head, bla bla".....and very easily you see people screaming ' jail him, kill him, batter him'...whereas all was planned.

She even took video caption of her moving out of her home....as if she was forcefully evicted.

Romance / Re: 7 Common Ways Women Use To Manipulate Men by donodion(m): 6:38am On May 02, 2017
importexpert:
This is specially a guys’ thread. If you believe the crap that women are the weaker sex, then you can believe that yam grows on trees. They may be weaker in terms of bodily strength, but that is all about being weak. Can we just face the truth? While a lot of guys claim to be in charge in the relationship, their woman is actually the boss but they don’t just know it. A wise man once said that: while the man is the head of the family the woman is the neck that turns the head

Right from childhood, have you not observed that compared to the boy child, it is an easy thing for a female child to request something from her dad and get it? And the mother is always pissed off by it. Why? The mother knows that even her own daughter can play her very wise dad.

Today, many guys are actually the women in the relationship but they are too blind to see it. I’ve put together in summary, seven ways women use men that most men do not realize.

1. Sexx: This has to top the list. I remember back then in school, a course mate was telling me how she got her Samsung tab. She said after going out a few times with the man, he took her to a plaza and got her a tab for almost 100k. She then proudly indicated when she got the tab, she decided to sleep with him. You get the drift? She rewarded the man with sexx. And this remains the most powerful weapon today. Women (even in marriages) have painted intimacy as what a man has to earn. So, you will see the average guy running pillar to post just to get into a girl’s pants. Yet, it is the same act that they will both enjoy! If you as a man do not learn to turn down the advances of a woman from time to time, you will still remain under her power. There is something about a man who refused to be manipulated into sexx. The woman will immediately see him as a conquest she must win. Guys, learn to say “no” too. You won’t die!

2. Being the one to ask her out: It is like a tradition, especially in Africa that a man should ask a woman out. Have you observed that once a man says he wants a relationship with a woman, she suddenly gains an influence over him? Well, there is little that can be done here. However, some guys have found their way around it. How? They simply ensure that she is way into them too that she starts to show not just green light, but all the colors of the rainbow. Guys who do not understand this are those still committed to chasing a woman for weeks stretching into months. Or better still, quit begging a woman for a relationship. They often have more to gain than give in the relationship anyway.

3. Showing weakness on purpose: There is an effect on a man that comes when a woman shows him her weakness. Once she shows her seeming inability to do something, what naturally comes to your mind as a guy? To help her out, isn’t it? For instance, if she was in the sun trying to get a taxi, you may feel inclined to offer her a ride. But have you ever done that for a guy? Okay, let’s rephrase the question: have you even ever shown concern to a guy in such a situation? Of course not! But what does the society call such preferential acts? Being a gentleman. This is the reason why some guys will buy a lady a phone of 70k while their brother is using torchlight. And women have discovered this! Have you seen a woman showing her weakness to her fellow woman? Hardly! But she shows it to a guy. Why? Because she knows he will start to feel like it is his responsibility to do something about it.

4. Crying over an issue: Does this need much explanation? She knows that if you truly love her, you can’t bear to see her cry. So, when logic and all forms of persuasion prove abortive, this is the last bet. And for most guys, when they see the tears, their reasoning just goes to sleep. The point is, most of these tears are not genuine. She is simply using a weapon in her armory to achieve her goal.

5. Stirring jealousy: She may not be getting attention from you or she wants you to take notice of her. To get quick attention from you, she decides to flirt with other guys in your presence. The aim is to get you jealous, put you on your toes and make you run to her. Most women believe flirting with other guys will make their men see them as valuable and desirable by others. You may get angry for a while (yes, they know), but eventually, your girl probably knows you will start working yourself hard to keep her.

6. Petting and flattery: This is one of the most rampant, even online. This is what makes a guy to pounce on his fellow guy online simply because a female referred to him as “baby”. Seriously, guys need to grow past this! The craze to hear sweet things from a woman has made many go to surprising lengths. Beware when she suddenly is all nice to you. Beware when she flatters you. You have no idea what is about to hit you. If you do, you probably won’t be smiling sheepishly.

7. Playing the guilt card: This is reverse psychology. What happens here is that she will blame you for something to get you to try defending yourself and then getting you to do what she blamed you about. Let’s say she accused you of not loving her as a reason why you did not get her an ipad. What is the motive? To get you to explain that you love her and promise to get her an ipad in the end. You know the implication? She just stripped you of the right to complain that you will not buy her the phone. Or else, you risk proving that you don’t love her. My best advice to guys in this situation: do nothing, say nothing. Just let the accusation hang and be quiet. if must say something, tell her that she do not value the relationship that is why she weigh the level of love using material things.
Remember, this strategy is always a trap.

Women can easily spot when a fellow woman like them is using a guy’s head. Guys need to learn all these manipulations and know to come off it.
Guys, am I making sense here?

Your score point is 100% pass mark.

Not one point is out of line. Perfect and true in every aspect. Well done!.

Travel / Re: My Trip To Kenya In Pictures by donodion(m): 8:32am On May 01, 2017
Let's make this a lesson for all intending to become political leaders on this forum.

When you and your political party becomes greedy, your indigenes, town, state and nation would turn out to be the mess Nigeria, the once upon a time Giant of Africa has turned out to be.

Over 50 Years ,yet we struggle extremely hard to attain 5000 MW stable electricity. Not because we have not the accumen, but sabotage, selfish interests, ethinicity and excessive greed would not allow such feat become a reality. Imagine the billions in dollars and Naira stolen by individuals who are less than 100 in number. Not even Mugabe of Zimbabwe stole as much as these Nigerian bastards in political offices.

There can be no sustainable infrastructure if adequate and people friendly security structures are not in place.

Who would, in their right mindset be willing to invest millions of dollars into a society where kidnapping for ransom and satanic ritual, day light armed robbery and murder, unfriendly multilevel taxing system, high level corruption, fraud, sabotage, human rights abuse is the order of the day.?

How many diasporans could wholeheartedly vouch for their family members back home, overseeing their various projects successfully?.

You need to step out of our shores to observe other African countries how they, queitly taking giant strides in making lives liveable for their citizens and you would wonder what bedeviled us as Nigerians.

Recently Ghana, a country's population less than 2 million, just implemented free education system at primary and secondary school levels. I saw that on CNN yesterday. And equally working on various systems to be at par with those ahead of them. Its tasking to even get Jamb registration back home for our wards.

Kenya is indeed a beautiful country, but it took some set of individuals in government to say ' you know what, let us set aside our tribal differences. How can we place our country on the global map for the right reasons.Besides us been seen as a safari country, animals and jungles'.

Kenya saw the potentials in tourism. ( Uyo and Cross River state have same potentials). They built and sustained old existing tourist site, voted sufficient funds to build more tourist attraction site, encouraged their youth in sports and athletics( who can beat Kenyans in marathon?). Furthermore their security system make their people feel safe at home. When Al-shabab struck at the mall, the world rose to the defense of Kenya.

When you visit this countries, ask questions ,observe people's mannerism, and perhaps we might regain our lost glory.

Have a wonderful day.

Crime / Re: For Being In Possession Of 3 Phones, SARS Operatives Assault U.S Returnee by donodion(m): 7:41am On May 01, 2017
delivryboy:
The approach to policing differ in different parts of Nigeria, I mean the behavior of police in the north is definitely different from their behavior in the southern part of the country especially in places such as Lagos and Port Harcourt, big cities. Having spent my childhood and young adult life in the north (Kaduna) and moved to Port Harcourt for work, I can't help but notice the marked difference in the manner the job of policing and security activities are being carried out. Yes Nigerian police are naturally not the most polished set of people anywhere in the country, I am forced to believe that they are more aggressive in places like Lagos and Port Harcourt (these places I can speak for) than anywhere I have known. We have all seen and heard about their notoriety in their treatment of the people they are employed to protect. Let's not be so quick in putting them down like outcast in the society, they say "a people get the kind of leaders they deserve" maybe, just maybe, they get the kind of police they also deserve, you would agree with me that these aforementioned towns are known to harbor some of the worst criminals the country can "boast" of, and the people are naturally more aggressive especially when it comes to money and everything that has a link to it, so the men of the security outfits would need to shed their "cool"sides and live up to cruelty of their enemies as they come. Some might say it is because they are more Hausas or northerners in the force, but when you look at the brutality cases, more often than not, you are likely to find a fellow southerner in the mix, as the perpetrator of the police brutality, besides majority of the said "SARS" men are of southern extraction. Lastly, living in Kaduna, a town that can boast of an overload of every security apparatus except for Navy, you would hardly hear anyone make ridiculous statements about police or military brutality, this I get to hear in places like Port Harcourt, where you would see grown, educated men sit down and discuss police/military brutality like they are discussing a block buster movie, making a hero out of the SARS men, army, air force, and telling wicked tales of how men in uniforms beat up their friends and neighbors and bus drivers with admiration as if there is a common agreement in the minds of the people that beating unarmed Nigerians is acceptable so long as you can do so while wearing the uniform, it is not out of place to hear "if army man slap you, you go know say police is your friend. Some will debate who is more brutal Army or Navy with the Navy given the advantage most times. With such agreement amongst the people, why won't these men in uniform try to outdo themselves in the art of brutalizing civilians they are supposed to protect?

Thank you for your honest submission.19,999 likes for you. During my sojourn in Northern part of Nigeria,I witnessed a complete different policing method in contrast to what we have in Southern Nigeria. As at the time when tint permit was in rave in Southern Naija, you would take your Honda to autopart and accessories shops in town,(I made kaduna my connection base to other states in the north then) ask for a darker tint film as the one you had one is not dark enough. And not for once would a policeman stop and ask for your tint permit.

I will keep saying it, the Acts that established NPF and sister agencies be subject to revokation by lawyers and lawmakers and a fresh, more community friendly police system and services be constituted. Likewise, establish an independent security body that would always investigate all claims and cases of violent policemen and women actions against members of.society with commensurable punishments accordingly.

There are more than enough willing human resources that would replace erring police recruits, rank and file.We are not over 180 million in population for nothing.

I just witnessed a scene where a woman is sent packing from her matrimonial home because she's allegedly "using her husband STAR"
A Star that couldn't buy him a Bicycle before the Marriage.cheesy

Even if she was using the Said Star isn't it just better for her to Continuegrin

Jokes Apart,

This is the Gist:
The couple both work in a Big company But the wife is more financially stable compare to the husband. she's currently building a house with her husband supervising the whole thing. she got a car of recent in her husband's name but the family and the Society won't have any of these.

Her kindness have been turn to wickedness and she's being sent packing in a humiliating manner. (They have a kid)

Now, my question is:

When you were using your own star you can't afford a bike.
When your wife bought you a new car,you and your family said she is spiritually using your star.

Isn't it a Low self esteem If your wife's income and financial status is affecting your confidence as a man

If you Make her life miserable and not make her happy just because she's richer than you, does that not mean you were never in love with her.

Love is peace, not competition. Whoever makes more money shouldn't
be a problem as long as we knows and respects each other as husband and wife.....

What's your Take on This

The mumu husband, through his family idiocy just made him let go of his direct source of blessing.

Be it a man or a woman, we all rise and fall through someone.Find out who your backbone is and keep such happy at all times.... else, hmmmm!

You see the GREEDINESS of we Nigerians? (at the bolded)

Just like sellers were doing when Dollar rose a bit, everyone jerks-up prices astronomically and when Dollar appreciates, they refuse to bring down the prices.

How long will President Buhari and his Govt look the other way while these greedy thieves make life impossible for Nigerians?

The statement of that man above shows that the price is being raised astronomically just for pure GREED.

While Govt is trying to make houses available so as to reduce the exorbitant cost, some Greedy Surveyors are trying to even further hike the prices, at a very crazy rate.

Buhari and his Govt must re-introduce "Price Control" measures and enforce it drastically.
To not do so, means greedy thieves in our midst will rubbish whatever policy his Govt is putting in-place to make life better for Nigerians.

These greedy people dont care about anyone, they just want to make more money and pass the burden down to the consumers.

**I think that Mr. Kunle Awobodu should be arrested right away ... for statements likely to cause breach of peace.
The Surveyor Association should also be mandated to reverse this nonsense ....legally or otherwise***

Yours truly I felt like looking for tht bastard and blow his brains out. Lagos might soon be in flames with all sorts of unfriendly and neck wriggling policies been raised for implementation. What justified the abnormal increase.....his lousy excuse is cos of rate of inflation affecting other building professionals...and how does that connect with surveyors?

Ambode and Tinubu better be aware, using thugs and hoodlums as political frontliners would backfire eventually as nothing last forever. You take one step forward and 10 steps back.

Criminality might soon be the order of the day in Lagos and only the strongest will remain.

1. You said ' my dad'.. if you are his legitimate son, the doctor or hospital management have no right under the sun to deny you his medical ailment information

2. The sore I'm seeing there could be as a result of bed sore, which happens to bed ridden patients admitted into healthcare facilities, while little or no attention been paid to such by healthcare workers ( doctors and nurses). A good ground for negligence and law suit.

3. If he had such before admission into a clinic/ hospital, then it's most likely the skin ulcer have further degenerated to becoming cancer. Mind you, there would have been an chronic ailment which further predisposed his condition.

Regardless , where you dad must be referred to at best is a federal medical hospital or teaching hospital.

Shame.Naijas and Hypocrisy.

Now quoting Bible without proper understanding of what 'Forgiveness' entails.

It's a process and it goes thus in this order;

Self conviction> Confession>Repentance> Forgiveness.

This is applicable at both physical and Spiritual spheres.

Self conviction- Acknowledge and accept you have erred

Confession- Taking responsibility and owing up to your wrongful deed(s)

Repentance- Readiness to make complete 180 degree turn from the wrong path.

Forgiveness- A decision made wilfully by the wronged person(s) NOT to further proceed with commensurable actions, justifiable and in equal measure against the erring person.

Nnaemeka David Chinedu, 37, an auto parts dealer who ingested 94 wraps of heroin.

The average Igbo man is genetically greedy. It's not a matter of acquired habits, it's in their DNA. Notice that all those caught with drugs are usually businessmen who use their business as cover for their crimes.
That's why you find people like Ifeanyi Ubah using Capital Oil to defraud the FG of subsidy payments and Cosmas Maduka defrauding the govt as shown in Oduahgate. Even Innoson too apart from being a vehicle assembler is also a tax and customs evasion guru.

This is not to say there aren't honest Igbos, they are in the minority and are usually derided by the fraudulent majority. The Igbo leaders should stop promoting ill-gotten wealth and granting Chieftaincy titles to criminals.

You killed it bruv.Gbam!!!
