itstpia8:
what are examples of such behaviour?
(1) Being the "class clown"

(2) When your girlfriend cries over everything because she knows you will stop what you are doing and comfort her.

(3) The person who always needs help even though you know dey can do it.

(4) The girlfriend/boyfriend who won't leave your side.. "clingy'"

These are just some of d ways a someone can seek attention, d main way to know if it is attention seeking behavior is based on how you react to d behavior. If you are slightly annoyed or mildly frustrated then it is most likely attention seeking behavior.
RomanceHow To Stop Attention Seeking Behavior by donogaga(op): 9:35pm On Apr 14, 2016
Attention seeking behavior is one of the most
frustrating things for other people to deal with,
and it often accomplishes the opposite of what
you want. Attention seekers may be rude, they
may interrupt others or top others' stories all
the time. They may also engage in risky
behavior to get you to rescue or punish them. If
attention seekers are driving you crazy, there
are some ways to help work with an attention
seeker to make them feel more heard, and to
give some boundaries to keep them from acting
out as much. Here are some tips:

(1) UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY NEED:-
Attention seekers often act the way they do
because they feel insecure and unheard. If they
can't get positive attention to feel heard, then
they will be bad until they get some attention
that way instead. People in general need to feel
loved and attended to. If they don't get this
naturally, they will find other ways to gain
attention. If the person who is seeking attention
is your child or grandchild, then one great way
to deal with this is to give them a lot of attention
when they do what you want. Catch them being
good and appreciate them for it enthusiastically
and regularly.

(2) CALL THEIR ATTENTION TO THIS KINDLY:-
Your attention seeker may not be aware what
they are doing, so another strategy may be to let
someone know how their behavior is affecting
others. Kindness is key with this, along with a
gentle push toward self awareness . This is a
good tactic to use with coworkers, bosses, or
other people who are not your children, and
with whom you want to gently deal and show
respect. An example, if someone is hogging the
conversation, would be to say something like,
"Wow, John, that sounds like a fascinating story.
I would really like to take the time to listen as
soon as Susan finishes her story."

(3) SET BOUNDARIES:-
If kindness doesn't work with your attention
seeker, then you need to put up a wall that is
based on appropriate behavior . Though they
don't act like it, attention seekers do
understand, for the most part, what does and
does not constitute acceptable behavior. To
make it crystal clear to them, let them know,
gently, that they have crossed a line, and spell
out what will happen if they cross that line
again. You can decide not to spend time with
them anymore until they change. If they are
adult children, you can make acceptable
behavior contingent on being able to live with
you, if they do. The boundaries are for your
health as well as for the other person, so make it
appropriate to your situation, so that you don't
have to deal with attention seeking anymore if
you must follow through.

PoliticsIs It Wrong For Gov. Ambode To Stop For Traffic Light? by donogaga(op): 9:16pm On Apr 14, 2016
HERE’S WHAT AYO SHONAIYA THINKS...

On April 12th, Gov Ambode’s convoy waited for the green light at Wempco junction, Agidingbi. The photo was shared by the Governor’s chief press secretary, Habib Aruna on Facebook. Many people praised the governor for doing this but there are those who feel it was a huge security risk. Read what Ayo Shonaiya wrote about it after the cut…

I just saw a picture posted by Habib Aruna on Facebook, of Lagos State Governor Akinwunmi Ambode and his convoy STOPPED at a traffic light in Lagos. My question is WHY?!

The Governor of Lagos State doesn’t have to stop at traffic lights when he’s on official duty with his convoy should he? And in terms of his security, this is very unadvisable. I have seen Gov Ambode’s convoy, and it’s like 8 vehicles, including an Ambulance! As they are allowed to cut through traffic jams, they should be allowed to cut through red lights. What are they stopping for? To prove that he obeys the Law just like every other normal citizen? But no, he’s not just any other normal citizen when he’s on duty, he’s the Governor!

I have seen comments about this picture, some are saying “kudos” and “humble governor”, Nooooo! He is the Governor and shouldn’t be stopping on plain road and even dangerously at intersections just to prove that he is not above the Law. He is making himself a sitting duck to potential harm by doing this. Who is the Head of Ambode’s security detail that sees this as a good thing, for your charge to be static for 2 minutes on plain road while waiting for traffic lights to change. Wow!

The fact that the convoy will be braking and stopping at Red Lights at every intersection is even dangerous. The vehicles in the convoy could quite possibly crash into each other and cause a pile up. What if the first 2 or 3 vehicles go past the green light, and the light turns red “mid convoy”? Would they now break convoy?

I do not like this. It is not breaking the Law if the Governor of Lagos State goes through Red Lights with his convoy on official duty. Maybe when he’s going somewhere in his personal car and without convoy, then he can maybe do that, but really even so, he should have some security detail with him. Stopping at red lights on official duty is not being humble, it creates a security risk. I don’t want my Governor to be humble, I want my Governor to PERFORM as he has been doing for a year now since he resumed office.

Governor Ambode, you are excused, and I don’t mind your convoy going through red lights to be getting your work done as you’ve been doing. Don’t stop. Keep Lagos moving.

This has been a Public Service Announcement by Ayo Shonaiya. If you agree or disagree with me, let me know your thoughts.

AgricultureChina Offers $15m For Establishment Of 50 Agric Demonstration Farms In Nigeria by donogaga(op): 10:25pm On Apr 12, 2016
Chinese President Xi Jinping on Tuesday in Beijing offered 15 million dollars agricultural assistance to Nigeria for the establishment of 50 Demonstration Farms across the country.

This is contained in a statement issued by Mallam Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to President Muhammadu Buhari and made available to newsmen on Tuesday in Abuja.

The statement said President Jinping announced the offer at a meeting between Nigerian delegation and high-ranking Chinese government officials in Beijing.

It said that the offer was in response to President Buhari’s desire to make Nigeria self-sufficient in food production.

It added that President Jinping agreed that Nigeria’s chosen path of development through economic diversification was the best way to go.

“To help Nigeria achieve this, China promised to fully support the country through infrastructural development and capacity building,’’ it said.

The statement said that President Jinping also expressed the readiness of China to set up major projects in Nigeria.

It listed the projects to include refineries, power plants, mining companies, textile manufacturing and food processing industries as soon as the enabling environment was provided by the Federal Government.

The statement said that China and Nigeria also agreed to strengthen military and civil service exchanges as part of a larger capacity-building engagement.

“In line with this, China offered to raise its scholarship awards to Nigerian students from about 100 to 700 annually.

“In addition, 1,000 other Nigerians are to be given vocational and technical training by China annually,’’ the statement added.

The statement said President Jinping applauded the war against corruption being waged by Buhari.

The Chinese leader assured the Nigerian president that Nigeria would always have a special place in the affairs of the Peoples Republic of China.

After the meeting, President Buhari directed that technical committees be immediately established to finalise discussions on new joint Nigeria/China rail, power, manufacturing, agricultural and solid mineral projects.

According to the statement, the technical committees will conclude their assignments before the end of May.

The statement said President Buhari welcomed China’s readiness to assist Nigeria in her bid to rapidly industrialize and join the world’s major economies.

The statement said that after the talks, President Buhari and President Jinping witnessed the signing of several agreements and memorandums of understanding between Nigeria and China.

They included a “Framework Agreement between the Federal Ministry of Trade and Investment of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the National Development and Reform Commission of the Peoples Republic of China.”

Memorandum of Understanding on Aviation Cooperation between the Ministry of Transportation (Aviation) of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Ministry of Commerce of the Peoples Republic of China was also signed

Memorandum of Understanding between the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Government of the Peoples Republic of China on Scientific and Technological Cooperation and a “Mandate Letter Between the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China and the Central Bank of Nigeria on Renminbi (RMB) Transactions’’ were also signed. RomanceWhat Kind Of Marriage Do You Want? by donogaga(op): 9:39pm On Apr 11, 2016
You’ve spent hours, days, and probably even months planning your wedding down to the tiniest detail. The gown is gorgeous. The flowers will be stunning, the food divine, and the guest list perfect. You’ve sampled cake and appetizers, listened to innumerable wedding songs, interviewed D.J.’s for the reception, selected the attire for the wedding party, hired a photographer, purchased gifts for your bridesmaids and groomsmen, made at least one hundred lists, and arranged a spa day so you’ll look beautiful on your special day. In short, you’ve thought of everything. Your wedding will come off without a glitch. Can you say the same for your marriage?

Twenty-four Hours Leads to a Lifetime.
Think of the energy and attention you’ve given one twenty-four hour period in your life. Granted, it’s an important day, but what about the thousands of days you and your spouse will share as a married couple?

Good marriages are created through intention. Are you willing to invest that same energy and time to create the marriage of your dreams? If your answer is “yes,” then read on for some tips to help get you started.

• Talk with your spouse about the expectations each of you bring to this marriage. Make sure you’re being as realistic as possible. For example, some people think happy couples should never have conflict. Others may think that if those early feelings of passion change or lessen somewhat, it means they’re no longer in love. Unrealistic expectations can lead to frustration, anger and dissatisfaction – and who wants to start married life out with those?

• Think of yourselves as a team. In marriage you move from me to we, and become a dynamic duo ready to take on the world and its challenges.

• Develop a mission statement for your marriage. Talk about what you want, how you will treat each other, and what you’ll do to keep your marriage strong. Write your mission statement on nice paper and post it where you’ll see it every day.

* Develop an attitude of gratitude for your spouse. Make a list of what you love about him or her, and look at it when you’ve had an argument or feel frustrated. Remember, nobody’s perfect. Learn to forgive and focus on positives.

• Keep asking your spouse about his/her thoughts, feelings and experiences. While you may know a lot about each other, there is always more to learn. The better you know each other, the stronger your friendship becomes. And friendship is the true key to a long-lasting healthy marriage.

• Show your husband or wife in small ways every day how much you care. Research shows that healthy couples have at least five positive behaviors for every one negative behavior. Think small – say goodbye when either of you leaves the house; give a spontaneous hug, kiss or backrub; plan a weekly date with each other; talk about how your day went at the end of the day.

• Be as good a listener as you are a talker and learn to handle conflict in ways that bring you closer instead of create distance. You may not always solve your issues; what is most important is that each of you feels heard. Apologize when it’s called for – an apology is a powerful communication tool. Use kind words and tone of voice. Once the problem has been discussed, drop it. No grudges allowed. Don’t give the “silent treatment.” Instead, talk things out. Try to say something positive before you make a complaint. Call a time out if you need to cool off. Be careful of the words you use because they don’t go away.

• Actively seek out resources that will help you create the marriage you want. Take a class, read books about healthy relationships. Hang out with friends who supports your marriage.

Foreign Affairs#panamapapers: Austria Bank Chief Resigns After Leaks by donogaga(op): 5:01am On Apr 08, 2016
The CEO of Austria’s Hypo Landesbank Vorarlberg, Michael Grahammer has resigned, after the bank was fingered in Panama Papers leak, local media reported Thursday.

The bank was mentioned in the so-called Panama Papers leak that allegedly exposed offshore financial activities of some of the world’s most influential people.

“The media prejudgment of Hypo Vorarlberg and of myself in past days was crucial for me in making this decision,” Michael Grahammer, 51 said in a media release.

Grahammer added that he was completely sure the bank did not violate any laws.

On Sunday, Germany’s Suddeutsche Zeitung published materials it claimed came from the Panamanian Mossack Fonseca company, exposing alleged involvement of a number of world leaders, politicians and celebrities in tax havens schemes.

Mossack Fonseca has refused to validate the information contained in the leaks and accused reporters of gaining unauthorized access to its proprietary documents. It has accused reporters of gaining unauthorized access to its documents and warned that using unlawfully-obtained data was a crime that it would not hesitate to pursue through the courts.

Meet King Rasheed Adewale Akanbi, the new Oluwo Of Iwoland in Osun State.

His beautiful wife, Marion Morgan was his casual girlfriend in Toronto.

When the then Prince Akanbi informed her he will be crowned as king in Nigeria, Marion Morgan promised to return home with him and the rest is history today.

The 32-year-old Toronto-based Jamaican factory worker is now the Queen Oluwo Of Iwo.

In an exclusive chat with a Jamaican media house, Morgan said she is yet to overcome the language barrier.

Business6 Reasons Your Best Employees Are Secretly Looking For New Jobs by donogaga(op): 8:36pm On Mar 25, 2016
Some of your best employees are secretly looking for another job.

Often times people make career changes, which means that there are familiar reasons why people are moving on to greener pastures.

Here's why your best employees are quitting and what you can do to avoid losing more of them:

1. The hiring process was misleading.

The job looked amazing on paper, and I was psyched about it when we talked about it in the job interview, but the actual job is nothing like they advertised. I didn't sign up for this.

If the job is mostly data entry, don't focus on the little bit that is creative work. If the job is 90% admin, say so. Mostly report writing? Say so. Has a crazy travel schedule? Say so.

Don't be misleading when you woo job candidates. They'll leave you faster than a jilted lover once the jig is up, and crappy retention costs you time and money.

2. They're drowning in unreasonable amounts of work.

I'm up for a challenge, but the amount of work I'm expected to do is straight-up impossible. I bring work home every evening and on weekends. I'm this close to just saying f*ck it and quitting.

An ideal workload is one that is challenging, lets people use their skills, and is achievable. Just don't forget the achievable part. You don't want to push people past a threshold of what's reasonable.

Not sure why your people are burning out? Ask them. Have them take you through their workload, including the nitty gritty administrative stuff, which always takes way more time than you think it does. It may be time to redistribute some work or make an additional hire.

3. They feel unappreciated.

I'm a hard worker. I don't even mind staying late. But would it kill him to say thank you?! Why do I even bother.

But you show your appreciation in the form of a big fat paycheck, right? Shouldn't that be enough? It isn't. Those two little words — thank you — mean a lot to people. When you take the time to say thank you, you're saying, I see you. I notice all of the good work you're putting in, and I appreciate it.

People just want to feel seen and understood and appreciated. I know you're busy and you probably don't get the appreciation you deserve either, but carve out some time to express genuine thanks for your team and you'll find it pays in spades.

4. You're too rigid.

She's fine with me working for an extra four hours into the night, but if I want to come in an hour late the next day it's like the Spanish freaking inquisition.

Your people don't mind working hard for you. What they do mind is doing so and then bumping up against rigid policies and practices, all for the sake of "optics."

Unnecessary rules drive people crazy. Don't let them be the reason you lose your best employees. Offer a little flexibility in good faith. It goes a long way in terms of relationship-building. Plus, flexibility actually makes your employees more productive.

5. They can't see the forest.

I need to know how my work is connected to the grander vision of what we do here. Seeing the trees isn't enough for me. I need to see the forest.

The people who work for you want to know why their work matters. Help them connect the dots. Of course you can see how it's all connected because you're in the meetings and strategy sessions behind the scenes. But they're not. What might be obvious to you isn't even on their radar.

Helping someone connect their piece of the puzzle to the larger vision helps them attach meaning to what they do, and meaning is one of the biggest motivators out there.

6. You're stealing credit for their work (or one of your colleagues is).

I'm totally a team player, but if so-and-so takes credit for my work one more time I'm seriously going to lose it.

This. Drives. People. Nuts. A brilliant idea is flat-out stolen and claimed as belonging to someone else. Or a massive project is credited to a whole team when really it was a solo project undertaken by one of your shining stars.

People want to be recognized for their work. That means giving credit when credit is due — maybe mentioning their names to the bigwigs; maybe giving them some public recognition; maybe letting them present to the VPs themselves. Recognition takes many forms.

Fail to do that and some of your shining stars will stop making such an effort. They'll withhold their ideas and efforts or they'll quit because, hey, they never get their props, anyway.

SportsAfrican Soccer Fans Are About To Get A Cheaper Way To Watch The EPL by donogaga(op): 1:59pm On Mar 19, 2016
The English Premier League, one of the most popular club
soccer competitions in the world, has struck a
broadcasting rights agreement with Econet Media, owned
by Zimbabwean telecoms tycoon Strive Masiyiwa. The new
deal will make games available on a free-to-air basis for
fans across sub-Saharan Africa.

The three-year agreement will start during the 2016-17
season and run through to 2019. Econet’s Kwesé Sports
will air a live match every Saturday afternoon for
subscription-free views in 50 African countries. The rights
also gives the channel access to preview shows and post-
match highlights programming.

“Premier League clubs enjoy passionate support across
sub-Saharan Africa and these rights are important to
ensuring that as many fans as possible can follow and
enjoy our competition,” Richard Scudamore, the executive
chairman of the Premier League, said in a statement.
Africa represents one of the fastest growing fan-bases for
the English-based club competition, helped by the success
of players from the continent, such as Leicester City’s
Algerian player, Riyad Mahrez, and Manchester City’s
Ivorian midfielder, Yaya Toure. This move will definitely
help to grow this audience, which was at 260 million last
season.

Currently, South Africa’s pay-TV provider, Multichoice,
owns the broadcasting rights for the league in Africa. It
paid £296 ($428) million for the rights to broadcast the
league for the 2016-19 seasons. And their offering through
Supersport, the platform that shows the matches, costs a
minimum subscription fee of $40 a month for a limited
number of games every week, and can go up to as much
as $100 for full access.

But the arrival of Kwesé TV, which launched only last
December could start to challenge the near monopoly that
Multichoice has enjoyed in this space. And competing for
the football audience across the continent is one way of
trying to eat into the Naspers-owned company’s market
share.

“We want to make this league available to fans across sub-
Saharan Africa,” Joseph Hundah, the CEO of Econet
media, said. “We hope to widen access to this property.”

Business9 Ways To Convince Potential Customers To Buy Your Product by donogaga(op): 10:13am On Mar 18, 2016
As a seller, you’ve got a wide range of products or
services. They are of excellent quality. So why would
your potential customers be struggling with the final
decision? The answer is simple: there are thousands
of sellers like you out there and you need to make
sure to stand out so that these potential buyers
become your customers. For the sake of this article,
let’s just call them customers.

Here are some good practices to incorporate into
your business in order to convince your customers
to buy from you:

1. Prepare appropriate and clear descriptions of the
products or services you offer:- Together with
adequate prices. No hidden costs. Be specific and to
the point. People like to know about the details which
help them make proper decisions. Speak the
language of benefits but be honest. Do not promise
what you cannot keep. It is easy to fall in a “one-
time customer” trap but avoid that path. Maintaining
great relationships with your new customers will
help you keep them for longer and, who knows,
maybe will make them ambassadors of your brand.
Moreover, show pictures of your products or
services. Take good photos. If need be, hire a
professional photographer. Assure your
customers they are not buying a pig in a poke.

2. Provide something more than is expected, a kind
of bonus:- People like bonuses. They help build
positive emotions around your brand. They make
customers feel happy and appreciated. As a result,
the customers will strongly connect these positive
emotions to your brand and the chances are you
won’t be forgotten. Add samples, use a creative
packaging system, add a funny note or an additional
feature your customer didn’t pay for but which might
be useful for them. Essentially, do whatever it is to
distinguish yourself from other similar sellers. Be
unique and thoughtful but bear in mind to target
your customers appropriately so there is no “faux
pas”.

4. Give clear and detailed information about the
shipping/logistic:- What kind of details might your
customers expect? First of all, they need to know
about the costs and methods of shipping. Do not
forget to include information about restrictions,
provided there are such. Are you shipping overseas
as well? Great! Make sure to include that. It is an
excellent idea to provide your customers with the
shipping status once they have made a purchase,
especially if the goods you offer are expensive or
even luxurious. Furthermore, it is a common
practice to reward the ones who spend more than an
average customer with a free shipping.

5. Your customers must be informed about terms
and conditions that rule in your world:- Make sure
these rules are simple, understandable and easily
available to your customers so they do not have to
spend time looking for them. (these are also called terms of service or user agreement).
The terms have been divided into sections so the
agreement is well manageable for the users of the
platform. What to include in the document?
Essentially, such information as general terms of
use, payments, taxes and refunds or membership
programs.

6. The same applies to privacy policy:- Especially
nowadays, with all that buzz around privacy, people
are very careful about providing their personal data.
It is extremely important you provide them with the
full understanding of where this data goes. Notify
your customers about the type of information you
may collect and what exactly you share and with
whom you share it. Be transparent.

7. Think of preparing a Frequently Asked Questions
(FAQ) zone:- Take the example from Zappos which
divided the zone into three meaningful sections.

8. Ensure your company and your brand are well
known for trustworthiness:- Should you have any
certificates, licenses or testimonials, show them on
your website to the rest of the world. Build credibility
from day number one.

9. Last but not least, be reachable:- Provide the
exact name of your company, contact details and
time frames within which the customers may
contact you. If you use social media to stay in touch
with your customers, provide the specific link. Think
of creating a chatroom and make sure to be available
during office hours. In general, be easy to find.
To sum up, turning potential customers into your
customers, and why not, faithful ones, is not an easy
task to do. Although, if you prepare a solid action
plan based on the above, you may be positively
surprised with the results. Keep in touch with
your customers. Support them during the whole
process, not only in the beginning. Do not make
mistakes. Deliver on time. Keep your promises. Make
your employees be your brand ambassadors,
too. Stand out from the crowds, go beyond regular,
show your customers how much you care about
them. If you show your customers loyalty, they will
show you theirs. All your efforts will definitely pay off
in the long term.

Romance7 Reasons Why SOME Women Love To Cheat by donogaga(op): 2:39pm On Mar 15, 2016
Did you know that most of the women out there love to cheat? A recent statistics shows that out of a 100 women, at least 78 of them are the best at cheating and, in fact, they love what they do! The study also shows that compared to men, women are the biggest and the more experienced cheaters! Researchers on relationship claim to say that the main reason why women cheat is because of the lack of physical intimacy in their current marriage or relationship.

These are the women who seek revenge for being done wrong or a desire for a few giggles and grins in their love life. So, why do you think women cheat if not for physical pleasure? Is it to climb the ladder to success, is it for fame or is it because they want to feel and be around with someone new? Today, Boldsky lists out some of the major reasons why women love to cheat. If you take a look at these reasons and excuses, you will be amazed to see how daring these women are to actually take this extreme step:

1.They Are Bored With Their Partner: An idle mind is a devil’s workshop. Most women get bored with their partner over a period of time, and this is the main reason for them cheating on their partners. If your relationship still has the flame, there is nothing to worry about.

2. They Look For Excitement: Women seek for excitement in their spouse or partner, and if you fail to entertain her like she does for you, she will soon begin to seek this entertainment elsewhere!

3. Money Draws Them To Cheat: Money is the devil in disguise. The women who cheat normally aim at men who can give them whatever their hearts desire. If your woman is like that and if you are not willing to do so according to her needs, she will find this to be a good enough reason to cheat on you.. Hide Thumbnail

4. The Ladder To Success :Women who want to climb the ladder to success find every reason to cheat. Those women who have this habit will continue to cheat till they have everything in the palm of their hand, when it comes to their career.

5. Because They Can. Period. Women who are treated badly by their partners find the need to cheat on them with someone who will treat them with love and respect. This kind of a cheating is fair and acceptable though. What do you think?

6. Revengeful Minds: For those men who have cheated on their women, need to be given the taste of their own medicine, which is why these women find a reason to cheat and are proud of what they are doing too.

7. They Love The Attraction :When a woman cheats, she tends to gain a lot of attention from the new partner and this in fact is thrilling which is one of the other reasons why some women love to cheat.

All these poor African countries dey fine companies as if their govt parastatals are doing any better. Airtel is doing them a favor by investing in their country. Has Sierra Leone as a country seen $1mil before?mscheeww
Well, the country’s traditional telecommunications infrastructure suffered considerable damage during the war years, and has since also suffered from neglect and underinvestment. However, the mobile sector has experienced strong growth, largely reflecting the poor state of the fixed line infrastructure, with competition between the GSM networks. Some consolidation has taken place, and Comium had its licence suspended following its continued inability to pay licence fees or creditors.

BusinessSierra Leone Fines Airtel $1million For Poor Services by donogaga(op): 4:08pm On Mar 13, 2016
Sierra Leone’s telecommunication regulator, the National Telecommunication Commission (NATCOM), has fined one of the country’s leading telcos Airtel $1 million for poor services.

Airtel, which is a subsidiary of the Indian-owned Bharti Airtel, was also accused of exploiting subscribers through its billing
systems.

NATCOM officials said March 11, 2016 that Airtel consistently failed to meet international standards of mobile services provision. The company has been given seven working days to pay the fine.

“The Commission has been following up for the last six months. The decision to fine Airtel was made in December,” said Momoh Konte, Chairman of Board of Directors at NATCOM.

Sierra Leone currently has three functioning mobile operators: Airtel, Africell, and latest entrant Smart Mobile. The fourth, Comium, was recently declared bankrupt.

Smart’s coverage is presently limited to the capital Freetown.
There are no official statics to tell who is leader between the other two. They both often claim to control the largest subscriber base.

Due to consistently poor coverage, complaints from subscribers, and high cross network tariff charges, almost every mobile phone owner in Sierra Leone is subscribed to
at least two of the leading networks.

NATCOM said Airtel has consistently failed to meet most of its key performance indicators, notably an agreed 95 per cent Call handover success rate per month, a call congestion rate of less than 1.5 per cent per month, and an acceptable 2 per cent of drop call rate per month.

Airtel has also been ordered to halt using a data charging system called “Pay as you go” because the operator is suspected to be “exploiting” its subscribers through it.

NATCOM is to conduct an audit on the Telco’s billing system.
“We are not here to make money but to serve as a referee between the consumer and the operator,” said NATCOM board
chairman, Mr Konte.

Airtel Sierra Leone is one of two African subsidiaries, including Burkina Faso, Bharti sold off to the French telecom giant Orange in January.

CrimeUniben Graduate & 4 Notorious Car Snatchers Arrested In Benin Edo State by donogaga(op): 7:19pm On Mar 12, 2016
Edo State Police command today paraded a five-man car
snatching gang, including a graduate of Political Science
from the University of Benin, Dickson Ogiemwonyi.

Other members of the gang are Alan Samson, Christopher
Obanugo, Godwin Atanu and Okechukwu Ntagu.

According to the police, the gang specialises in stealing
vehicles from motorists in Benin metropolis and selling them to car dealers and other prospective buyers.

Speaking to journalists, the political scientist confessed that
he bought a Lexius RX 300 from a gang of car snatchers for
N500,000, made a part payment of N120,000 and took the
vehicle to Atanu, a spray painter who allegedly repainted the
car from gold to oxblood.

“I made a part payment (N120,000) of the amount he mentioned. I changed the colour because I actually suspected that it was not genuine; I had already got myself involved,” he said.

On his part, the Spray Painter, Godwin Atanu, who claimed
not to be aware that the vehicles were stolen, claimed that
he was only a conventional spray painter.

Also in his confession, one of the suspects, Samson, who
hails from Osun State and claimed to be an electrician, said
he usually disguised as a mechanic called to fix a vehicle and made away with the vehicles when the owner submitted
their car keys.

According to the police, the suspects had begun to dismantle one of the vehicles in order to sell its parts in various motor spare parts markets, before they were arrested by security operatives.

Edo Police spokesman, DSP Abiodun Osifo, who paraded the
suspects, said they were arrested on March 8, following a tip off, after allegedly stealing five cars from unsuspecting
members of the public.

The suspects were alleged to have sprayed two of the stolen
cars, a Ford Focus, a Toyota Matrix with different car paints
to conceal their original colours.

“These are suspects who specialise in car snatching within
Benin and neighbouring communities. On February 18, 2016, a Nissan car was snatched by three armed men at gunpoint from the owner. And since, we have been on the trail of these armed robbers.

It paid off three days ago on a tip off that a vehicle was being vandalised at a hideout, at a specific location,” Osifo said.

Family5 Reasons Women Leave Their Husbands by donogaga(op): 4:05pm On Mar 12, 2016
Women file for divorce two-thirds of the time — a grim fact. But the important question to ask is "why?"

According to the National Center for Health Statistics, when a marriage ends, the woman is the one who files for divorce two-thirds of the time. While a man might leave a marriage because of a lack of intimacy, meeting another woman or
because he feels as though his needs no longer come first, a woman leaves marriage for very different reasons.

Here are five reasons women end their marriages:

1. A lack of emotional connection:
Men feel close to their wives through intimacy. Women
generally need to feel emotionally connected to their
husbands first, and then the desire for sex grows out of that connection. When women look for companionship outside
their marriages, it is more often for emotional connection than physical connection. Women like to be both known and heard. The most successful husbands know what their wives like and what their wives think.

2. Differences over finances:
Some may think that a lack of sufficient funds leads a
woman to leave a marriage, but divorces more likely occur
because of different expectations for the way finances are
managed. A wife may believe in the importance of saving,
staying out of debt and making conservative investments.
Her husband may want to take more risks with money and
spend more freely — or it could be just the reverse. The
point is that spouses often don't see money in quite the
same way. It's important to talk openly about finances and
come to a consensus on how best to manage them.

3. A man who is rarely home or not engaged with the family:
If the husband is the primary breadwinner, he may believe
that the harder and longer he works, the more he is
demonstrating dedication to his family. But if he works late
most days and travels a lot, his wife may begin to question
whether or not he really cares all that much about her. If
there are children involved and the husband is never home,
a wife may grow resentful.

4. An inability to resolve conflict:
No two people will ever agree all the time. Rather, the key is to recognize and adjust to differences instead of trying to
avoid them. Withdrawing, refusing to talk about problems or withholding things the other person wants never makes
things better. According to a study from the University of
Michigan, "a particularly toxic pattern is when one spouse
deals constructively by calmly discussing the situation,
listening to their partner's point of view, or trying hard to find out what their partner is feeling, for example — and the
other spouse withdraws." The best way to resolve conflict is to stay calm, listen to each other and work to resolution.

5. Controlling or abusive behavior:
In any marriage, in addition to being an "us," there needs to
be a "me" and a "you." Marriages work best when two
separate people with different interests come together and
find common ground. Love does not equal control over
one's spouse. For example, many women like to be close to family and friends and will struggle if they feel like they're
being isolated. And, of course, it goes without saying that
physical or emotional abuse is never, ever acceptable.

Remember the adage, "happy wife, happy life." The simplest way to keep your wife happy is to make your marriage a safe place for her to be. Talk with her, know what she likes and
what makes her tick. Connect with her emotionally, and you may be surprised how quickly your love life improves.

SportsParis Saint-germain's Kurzawa Reveals Huge New Tattoo by donogaga(op): 9:10am On Mar 12, 2016
The left-back, who joined the French champions from Monaco last summer, has unveiled a new tattoo of Kali, the Hindu Goddess of time, doomsday and death.

Paris Saint-Germain left-back Layvin Kurzawa has taken tattoos in football to a whole new level.

The 23-year-old, who has made 18 appearances for the French champions this season after arriving from Monaco last summer, has opted to get a huge tattoo of Kali, the Hindu Goddess of time, doomsday and death, that covers nearly all of his upper body.

And to top it off, Kurzawa claimed on Instagram that he is due another (presumably lengthy) session with the tattoo artist to get it finished!

PoliticsRe: Riot At Ikeja-Along Area Of Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway by donogaga(m):
Too bad

It's high time the Lagos State Government should give a "Strong order” to the Lagos State Police Command “to do everything in its power to seek out, arrest and bring to justice, any lawless and criminal person who parades himself as a member of NURTW or any similar body”.

Conclusion:
A people’s committee should be set up to resolve the incessant Police - NURTW confrontation and to create a platform for both to work harmoniously for the benefit of the wider society.
