U tend to be out of luck if you are using Tecno, Infinix, or Itel and your phone gets faulty and you are out of warranty. Carlcare will sometimes charge one between 40%- 60% of the cost of a phone just to repair something even as simple as charging port. My first experience was with my tecno p5 back then. It's touch was cracked and though it was still working, I didn't like the sight of it. I took it to their Kaduna office and the lady looked at the phone and told me it's 5,500. I collected the phone and replaced it at 1,800 with a roadside engineer

My brother also had a problem with the charging port of his Phantom A. He had earlier repaired it at the roadside but the charging was too slow. I took it to their Abuja office and they said they will replace the board in the course of repairs and we were looking at around 26k and that was early 2016. I declined and advised him to get a new phone.

Towards the end of last year, I wanted to replace the touchscreen of My Infinix zero and I called their office. They said it's N12,500. I just vex go repair am for N2,500. I know theirs will b more original but haba. My friends have their experiences and one common excuse they give is that they will replace the phone's board.

Is it that their parts are over original or what?

That's the the problem I'm having with my hot note pro... Sometimes it will Just hang, even with 6 apps running in background.. I'll have to restart it, their useless update cause it and since they have not release another update..

u are right. I believe if it's the hot note, it's the useless xui update. sometimes, just one app and it will still lag.

Well, haven used the Infinix zero, hot, hot note and hot 4, I have come to the conclusion that Infinix are learners when it comes to smooth running of apps. I've used all the phones listed above and they have one thing in common - LAGGING. All my Infinix phones have been 2g ram but even with huge free memory, my apps hardly ever ran smoothly.

Worst is if I open many apps, the phone hangs and could even restart. I had to sell my hot note cos of this. I bought the hot 4 hoping it's gonna be better but I think even My previous Innjoo One and fire beats it in terms of smooth runs. I no even mention tecno. Sometimes, even ordinary SMS and phone dialer will lag. They really need to get their acts right.

Here in Kaduna, Glo is a terrible mishap. can't get download speeds beyond 200kbs. but its mainly unstable running from 7kbs to 70kbs most times even in the very heart of the capital. And in my area, it's 2days now with absolute zero network. Glo is a holistic mess.

Guy, don't buy any useless tecno y2 with just 512mb ram. if it's just whatsapp and Facebook, go get an Itel with similar specs for 12-14k and blow the change. Go to physical stores. U gonna get an Itel that is not known online

Guy, if U do mistake buy any phone from outside, time of palava, U will be on ur own. Look for gionee, Infinix, tecno or itel. they got reasonably good specs and customer care service too. op, I suggest U go for hot note pro. but if U are keen abt 4g, go for gionee m3mini

ohh! never cared to check. Tot it was just the ram Then the phone is just a hot note with a later android version. I would advise U go for the hot note though it's scarce

get the hot 4 lite. Or if U can get a hot note. The difference between these two Infinix phones is that hot note is older and hot 4lite is newer. also, hot 4lite got finger print sensor (though useless to me) and has a newer android version but 1g ram. sells for 36-37k. The hot note is what am using and I prefer it over the hot 4 coz of it's flash charge ability. within 1hr, my phone could move from nearly 0% to over 90%. But i think the hot 4 will take abt 4hrs. It also has the option of 2gb ram. it shld b abt 31-33k

buy Innjoo and run mad later. talking from experience. Get Infinix hot note or hot 4. what is ur budget self?

Yes that's it. it runs the xui N.3.1 but it often lags. even with free ram space since it's 2g ram variant. sometimes, I have to restart it for it to normalize. I also noticed the system alone sometimes takes up abt 1g ram. Any solutions pls.?

The only thing U can do is to get a fairly used battery for and 1.2k. U can buy 3 self. I think with that, U got no worries.

it's well known fact
