@vooks. It is a known fact that North Korea have successfully tested nuclear weapons in the past, but unlike their previous tests which was an ordinary fission bomb that is relatively easy to make they are claiming that their latest test was a thermonuclear which is quite difficult to produce and also far more deadly compared to an atomic bomb. |

abumeinben: How?
Kindly explain There are five statement to the contrary proposition which says the person did not steal the coke. One each for Darius, Alfred and Brenda, and two for Charles. While the are three statements to the affirmative which says that the person stole the coke, of which Alfred has one and darius has two. So if Darius is the thief, then it would be true that he stole the coke twice and it will also be true that it was not not Alfred , Brenda and Charles twice which adds up to six true. |

Like u had an engineering/science background? If Darius is the thief, then six of the eight statements will be true. But the condition given is that exactly four of the statements are false, so Darius cannot be the thief. |

I did not read through carefully before saying Darius. The right answer is Brenda. It is the only name that will make exactly half of the statements to be true. |

Darius stole the coke. It is a simple puzzle, if you write the statements in pairs you will see that Breda was never accused of stealing while Darius was accused twice. |

My own is that, why should you have a problem with the fact that someone willingly paid to attend a service?
So long as they were not forced to do it and they are happy, then it's honestly not anyone's business. How people decide to willingly spend their OWN money should not concern anyone as long as no law is violated. If Jesus could have a problem with people that turned his father's house into a money making business, I don't see why I cannot have a problem with someone that is merchandising the gospel. It doesn't matter if they were forced, after all the people that Jesus chased from the temple did not force anybody to patronise them yet He drove them away. |

How do you certify a product is genuine or false? I said Jesus is my father, nowhere did I make claim to a house. Your second question is irrelevant to the discussion at hand, we have already given our reasons why we think Pastor Chris is false. Instead of defending him you questioned our right to challenge a person whom we honestly believe to be a charlatan unfairly profiting from people's thirst for God. |

I'm not a bible person but I'm very sure if you read the Bible in other translations than king James, you will find out what really happened then. The original Greek rendering of the word translated as "money changers " is not money changers but translators had to use it. You still have not explained anything. You said this in your op What he has decided in his heart to give" clearly has to be some amount (not zero). It may be ten percent or more. Well, it may even be less, but give as the Holy Spirit directs your heart; NOT AS THE PASTOR DIRECTS YOU. This is the distinct difference between giving to God and giving to the church. Then you contradicted yourself by saying this. Care to explain? mrZENographer: When you're giving to the church, you are directly giving to God. Have you seen God's hand before? Tithe is a heavenly system institutionalized by God. It stemed from the book of Exodus and is mandatory for followers of God of all ages.
It is 10%. No MORE NO LESS. If you want to appreciate God by giving more, it is only seen as offering or seed of faith, thanksgiving. As it is layed in your heart, so give. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Would Judas Had Been Forgiven If He Asked Forgiveness? by dorox(m): 8:04pm On Dec 26, 2015 |
PastorOluT: Hmm, the two sceneros u painted is a sin of the flesh cos its only man alone that can sin d sin of d flesh n not spirits. The 2 men would b forgiven if they 'repented' and ask forgiveness, note I said repented n not remorseful.
Once u are a man n u have nt cross d borderline of d sin against the Holy Spirit which by d way its nt an easy sin to commit. Sinning against the Holy Spirit is not a sin u commit in ignorance, u must have come to know the secret of the devil as stated in the book of revelation.
So in conclusion on the example u cited, d issue is repentance or just being remorseful n not d sin of d flesh cos both are sin of the flesh. Hebrews 6:4-8 tells you why Judas sin is unforgivable, it is quoted below from NIV. It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age and who have fallen[c] away, to be brought back to repentance. To their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace. Land that drinks in the rain often falling on it and that produces a crop useful to those for whom it is farmed receives the blessing of God. But land that produces thorns and thistles is worthless and is in danger of being cursed. In the end it will be burned. |
