I thought Papa Oyedepo has single handedly wiped out Bokoharam and Iswap with his powerful curse. |
This thread, despite being a front-page topic, has very little engagement. Any thoughts on why? |
Hello my people, let’s talk about this thing o! If God gives you a second chance to turn back time, would you still marry your current husband or wife? For me, it’s a big YES! After many years with my wife, living with her has been far better than I ever imagined—sweet pass even my wildest dreams. Even the small small drama we get sometimes just adds flavor to the love. The mere thought of one alternate world where I didn’t marry her fills me with dread, my heart go just dey do gbim gbim! I love her more every day, no joking. So, what about you? Would you say ‘I do’ again or japa sharp sharp? Share your gist, abeg, let’s hear your mind!" |
sulasa07:Are you saying that it was OK for Oldman Mo to have sex with 9 year old pre-pubescent Aisha because there was no child protection law at the time? It was wrong for Mo to sleep with a child then, and his Alah should have stopped him if indeed he is a righteous God. |
The are four sections, and each sections has 6 triangles, making a total of 24 triangle. |
Your statement is clearly incorrect. Following the discontinuation of the US space shuttle program due to safety concerns and escalating operating costs, the United States was primarily reliant on Russia for human space access. Among the three rockets available for satellite launches at that time, two were dependent on the Russian RD180 family of engines, recognized for its advanced features such as the partial flow oxygen-rich stage combustion engine cycle, offering unmatched propellant efficiency for a kerolox engine. SpaceX revolutionized this landscape with the Falcon 9 rocket, powered by the American-made Merlin 1D engine. Despite being an open cycle gas generator engine, inherently inferior to the closed cycle RD180, the Merlin engine's simplicity, reliability, and highest thrust-to-weight ratio made it a formidable competitor. With SpaceX's Dragon spacecraft, Americans gained independent access to space, breaking the reliance on Russian technology. Currently, SpaceX boasts the most advanced engine ever created by humans—the Raptor engine. This engine will be incorporated into their next-generation rocket, Starship. Distinguishing itself from the RD180, the Raptor engine is a groundbreaking full flow staged combustion engine that employs methane as fuel and oxygen as the oxidizer. This marks a significant improvement in space propulsion technology |
Lamentations of Sodom by Tera Kota is a great song that is missing from this great list. |
KiNg0G:The behaviuor you're describing is often seen in individuals who don't have a stable source of income and rely on easy money from questionable sources. People who work hard for their money understand the value of it and don't squander it on vices like gambling, women, and booze. You really need help |

tehilah92:Bringing a child into the world without the ability to properly care the child is an act of cruelty. If the time is not right then don't bring a child to surfer for your failure. |
daniel5711:Must you have a child now? Growing your family in the midst of severe economic hardship severely reduces your ability in taking actions that can pull you out of poverty. Why can some people not wait to sort themselves out before getting married, or having kids? |
tehilah92:Two daughters on 25k? That is so messed up. I would not even contemplate having a child on that kind of income, not to talk of two children. I consider it an act of loving kindness to only bring kids into the world when you are ready and equipped to become a parent. |

LilMissFavvy:What you said about Jehovah's Witness here is very wrong, I wonder how you came to believe that we do not consider the teachings of Paul/Timothy as part of God's inspired word the bible. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, I can tell you that we believe 100 percent in the teachings of Paul. So, please stop spreading falsehood about our believes. |
HardMirror:That is not what I am saying at all, my statement was just about rocket engines in general and not to support one country over the other. I was only saying that until very recently, Russians made the best kerolox engines because they were the only ones that could make an ORSC engine. Engines made in the US were of the inferior open cycle engine, but it doesn't mean that they could not build orbital rockets based on those engines. In fact, the famous F1 engine that powered the first stage of the Saturn V rocket that sent astronaut to the moon is an open cycle gas generator engine. The fact that an engine is less efficient and expensive does not mean that you it cannot be used to launch rocket to space, it just means that it will be expensive and less efficient to use it, hence American reliance on Russian engines. The metallurgy for making ORSC engine has never been patented, the Russians made it a trade secret instead. As I said before, America now know how to make the alloys necessary for making an ORSC cycle engines, and SpaceX applied this knowledge to make an even more advanced and more efficient engine cycle for their Raptor engine. I love rockets, it is something I follow, whether it is the history or the technology, i just love everything rocket. I was only trying to make you understand something i thought you might not have known from your statement i responded to. |
HardMirror:Until recently Russia was the only country able to make an oxygen rich staged combustion (ORSC) engine. It is the most efficient engine cycle for a kerolox rocket engine, which was thought to be impossible by the west until after the cold war when they were surprised to learn that the Russians had mastered the technology. The reason why it is difficult to implement is metallurgy. You need materials that can withstand the high temperature oxygen rich environment in the turbine of an ORSC engine otherwise you will burn the engine along with the fuel in what in known as engine rich combustion. when that happens, your engine will explode. And until recently, only Russia had the technology to make such materials. SpaceX, BlueOrigin, AerojetRocketdyne, and the Chinese can now do it. With this new knowledge of metallurgy SpaceX has been able to make the most advanced rocket engine ever made, it is a full flow staged combustion engine they call the Raptor, you can google it. Previous American rocket engines were open cycle gas generators, they were quite inferior to the closed cycle ORSC engines like the Russian RD180. The only closed cycle engine built by the US before now was the RS25 which was the main engine of the Space Shuttle. It uses a fuel rich stage combustion cycle which is very efficient and does not require exotic metals to make, but this cycle only works for a hydrolox engine. |
