In Matt.11:18,19

18 For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, ‘He has a demon’; 19 the Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Look, a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’ Yet wisdom is vindicated by her deeds.”

There Jesus said he ate and drank while john did neither. You might ask that if john did not eat and drink, did he starve and go thirsty? My answer to that will show that Jesus indeed took alcohol.
When we eat food, especially a well made food we derive pleasure from it as well as nourishment for our body. Jesus had both for we are told in the bible that he feasted regularly with friends and attended wedding ceremonies where meals are served. While john ate only to satisfy his nutritional needs and not for the pleasure of eating hence his feeding on locust.
John was instructed before birth not to take wine or strong drink. Luke.1:15

for he will be great in the sight of the Lord. He must never drink wine or strong drink; even before his birth he will be filled with the Holy Spirit

He did not drink for the pleasure of drinking, hence no alcohol but surely he must have had water and honey to nourish his body. While Jesus said that he drank what John was told not to drink (wine or strong drink) and it was for that reason some people falsely accused him of being a drunkard

In the OT Priest abstain from drinking inorder to enter the terbanacle of God,in the NT We(Christains) are priest and we don't go to the terbanacle because its already in us!!
We can only drink on the condition that we drop the terbanacle/Holy Spirit in us.if that is possible.

How do you then explain that part of the bible where Jesus claimed he drank alcohol going by this logic?

I love everything about me life(family,friends,career and lots more)such that if i happen to die and later be raised by a man like Jesus, i will forever remain grateful to him for giving me the chance to raise up my child to adulthood, grow old with my lovely wife and just enjoy life to the full.

Alfamann, your question would make no sense to you if you have ever suffered the pain of losing a brother or a sister or a spouse or parents to the heart wrenching coldness of death, at that point if it were possible most people would willingly trade their soul just to have their loved one back, even for a moment.
If there is any shred of human feeling left in you then it shouldn't be too hard for you to imagine how joyful lazarus and his family must have felt to be reunited again instead of your useless question about torture. Have you died before to know that we are tortured at death?

If you had a more critical mind you would not have fallen for that simple trick. I could tell you how it was done but to save me the trouble, ask yourself if you actually saw an accelerated growth of the corn or was it that a young corn shoot was displayed to the gullible public then cordoned off from their view with juju decorated palm fronds then some hours later as if by a miracle a more matured corn is put on display and same process is repeated until a fully matured corn is shown to the public.

An amazing story indeed. In spite of her disability she has done well for herself even doing better than many of her able bodied peers, that is why i am particularly very pleased for the opportunities being given to her by this nameless organisation, but I am sure that she would have been even more pleased if Daddy G.O Adeboye had used some of his holy ghost power to miraculously straighten her hands.
