I find it surprising that those of you who took Daddy G.O Adebayo at his word that he miraculously drove his car for hundreds of miles without fuel and believed Pastor chris' tall tale of driving a car on water are suddenly skeptical of an equally tall tale of a man who managed to stay alive without the need for food and water for 70 years.

I rily. Don't av a problem with bro frosbel uploading the video afterall he didn't make it, but I have a big. Problem with his approach.
Its ok to upload the video and put it side by side with the word to show us where they got it wrong, but to call the people names(fake charlatans)like he did n discredit their ministries is just plain wrong.

I have been blessed at one point or the other by some of this ministries(Hagin,Copeland,Hinn) but in recent time I started questioning quite a number of their teachings putting them side by side with d word n I found out some weren't accurate and some others were. Now I didn't throw away the baby with the bathwater by discrediting this ministries, I just took the truth and left out the rest.
Personally I don't believe in following any MOG blindly, I believe in following the word. MOGs r human, they make mistakes too...

In Nigeria, there quite a number of practices and doctrines in churches today that don't line up with the word yet it still doesn't mean the preachers are charlatans and scammers. Calling them names would be going to far.

I watched the full video again and honestly my spirit didn't agree with a number of things, but I won't discredit this ministries, I don't think its in my place to do that, rather I would point out wats wrong by putting it side by side with the word. Now, I have not done a personal study on manifestations yet so I would rather stay mute.

You gave a good list of qualificatn of false shepherds but I don't think this video gives enough proof that any of this preachers are false.

You are wrong to think that theses guys should not be condemned because there are some lies in their truth. Remember how the devil operates by mixing a little lie with truth just as he did with Eve. The bible tells us that Satan disguises himself as an angel of light to deceive people and he does this by being partially truthful. would you not expect his disciples, those whom jesus would tell on that day that 'go away from me i never knew you' to also use disguise?
My friend, do not be naive, satan is a counterfeiter, so he will always try to present himself as the genuine article. God's word is truth, adding a little leaven to it is enough to ferment the whole lump that is why i will advise you to be particularly practices that don't align with the word of God, had Adam and Eve followed the word of God to the letter as Jesus did the world would never have descend into chaos.

Just poking fun at the ridiculousness of the claim that there are 1.3 million miracles for this year and the fact that if true (i believe the right number is zero)it won't go round because of the shear number of his followers asking for miracles.

Though the supply for miracles is limited to 1.3 million meaning that not everyone will get theirs this year, but you should not worry if you are among the top tier partners, you are given priority over the ordinary members.

How can a reasonable person watch this video and still think of these comedians as men of God? Just imagine the man at 4:50 minutes being lead on a leash, walking on all fours like a dog. Didn't you find it disgusting in a house of worship?
You guys talk like jesus did not warn that there will be lots of counterfeit christians in the last days of this world. that the number of unsaved people will far outnumber those saved. That is why it is even more important for us to use the scriptures to question beliefs and practices before accepting them as truth.

@ITbomb: The most dominant quality of a christian is supposed to be love, jesus singled it out as the identifying mark of his followers. I will advise that you should not allow superstitions to harden your heart to the plight of your neighbor preventing you from offering a helping hand even when it wouldn't cost you anything.

Read my post again and tell me if it supports the pastor action in anyway. Your comprehensive skills must really be poor if you couldn't understand that i was showing the absurdity of using a similar kind of defense for pastors like Adeboye and co. when they are accused of impropriety.

Why do we want to attract curses to ourselves by judging the anointed servant of God. Should we not leave judgement to the God that called him? Remember touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm. So my advice to you all is to thread carefully and with respect when talking about matters conerning MOG, lest we bring everlasting damnation to ourselves.

Note: I do not subscribe to the above arguement, I only made it to show the absurdity of using similar arguement when the gross error of other so called MOG are talked about here.

This issue really needs to be tackled. i have had a similarly bad experience of noise pollution when a small church opened opposite my house in the 90's.
Whenever they were holding church service which was more often than not, my window used to vibrate, watching tv was impossible even at the highest volume unless the doors and windows were completely sealed and on a hot and humid night with no nepa light, it was the closest to hell that i have experienced.
There was this day my elder brother came home from university, tired from his journey he went to sleep soon after having his meal. So you can imagine my surprise when moments after he began his siesta, I saw him explosively burst through his room door and made a mad dash through the living room for the front door with his eyes wide opened like he was running for his dear life only to stop at the last moment angrily saying - sh.t!...sh.t!...Oh!...sh.t!
Just as i was about ask him what the matter was, the answer hit me and i just could not hold back the flood of laughter.
My brother taught that there was a fire outside and was only running to help as quickly as he could. The church pastor was screaming Fire!..Fire!..Fire... Holy Ghost Fire!
It was when he said holy ghost fire that my brother realized that he was just fired up for nothing because, there was actually no fire.

I have seen too many faith liars to simply take someones word about their story as fact.
The few such stories i have investigated proved to be a lie that is why i will continue to believe this one to be no different until proven otherwise.

Infertility is a medical problem that affects many couples and in most cases can be treated with ease. It is no different from say malaria, appendicitis, asthma, or indeed any of the myriads of deffects and ailments we would normally seek medical help without shame. So why the cover ups, why the lies whenever couples are treated for fertility issues?
Until i begin to see less people in our crowded hospitals and an amputees limb restored, i will cintinue to insist that i have a near absolute chance of being right that the pastor couple lied and their miracle babies was indeed a miracle of modern medicine.

My friend, based on what you have said about the couple being "blessed" with tripplets after a long wait of 15 years, i can tell you with a high level of certainty that the couple are beneficiaries of fertility treatment.
Fertility drugs works by over stimulating the womans ovaries to produce lots of eggs per cycle as opposed to one, hence the prevalence of multiple birth compared to natural conception and other other types of Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART).
Your pastor simply lied by claiming it was God's miracle instead of modern science.
The same way my neighbor of long ago in Benin was advised by my sister to seek medical help after three years of trying with no luck. She took my sister's advice, got pregnant within a few months of therapy and gave birth to a boy and a girl. So you can imagine my sisters surprise to hear her give a completely different testimony in church about how she paid a kind of seed believing God for her miracle and claiming the prophetic utterance of the pastor helped her to concieve.

What I do find baffling with all these so called Men of God is the ease with which they tell lies, from the phantom testimonies of miraculous healing they tell their members to the numerous made up stories of seeing Jesus, going to heaven, driving a car on water, fasting without food for forty days....and more and more. It is as if they think that we are stup!d, perhaps we are indeed stupid as a people for believing such stories

It is not compulsory for the wives of Pastors to become Pastors, but it is necessary for the long term viability and family ownership of the church business for not just the wives alone, but the sons and daughters as well to receive the calling. And if the church is very big with huge turnovers, then you can add in-laws and cousins to the list of pastors.

A big congratulation to Goshen360 for winning this section and also to his core supporters (campaign team) for coming up with the tactical plan of making the election not just a vote for 'who you would like to win' but also against 'who you would hate to win'. It was a stroke of brilliance, marking the very beginning of the unravelling of what was once a very promising prospect of Logic boy's chances of winning the election and draining support from Mr Anony, relegating him further into oblivion like he didn't matter.
Logic boy should be proud for finishing a strong second, with probably more votes 'for him' than any other person. Likewise Mr Anony, he should be proud to know that his dismal number is not representative of his popularity in Nairaland, that he is highly regarded for his intellect and candor. I hope he does better next time.

Once again, big congrats to goshen, my statements above is not trying to take anything away from your victory which was well deserved, but to put things in perspective from my point of view.

My vote goes to Logic boy, because i think he is the person whose absence from Nairaland would be felt the most. We may love him or hate him but we all seem to have an opinion of him one way or the other, good or bad, but never boring.
There are quite a good number of people who make naira land an interesting place to hang out and in my opinion logicboy is number one, that is why i am voting for him. My vote is in no way an endorsement of his belief or lack of belief but as a recognision of his contribution to this forum.
