Though in my opinion it is unwise to bring matters like this here because it provides a cheap oppurtunity for all the fake none tithing christians and their atheist friends to portray our Daddies in the lord as a bunch of unscrupulously greedy narcissistic blood suckers.

On the contrary i think it is a very good question especially for those who believe in tithing. If you accept his premise that one can have more than one 'spiritual father' or be active in more than one church then it makes sense to ask if the tithe can be split between both pastors in whatever percentage the mugu feels led by the 'spirit'

You should ask your pastor for advice regarding this issue considering the fact that his revenue stream is likely to be negetively impacted especially when more of his herds start adopting this practice of sharing tithe.

The scripture you quoted "Seek first the kingdom and his righteousness and all other things shall be added unto you" is so very easy to understand, but sadly it is one of the scrptures that have been misapplied and abused by prosperity preachers to suck their sheep dry to enrich themselves.
Did Jesus whose word is truth mean that seeking the kingdom would make someone rich? No. If he did, it would make him a liar because peter did not become rich, neither did paul nor indeed were we told of anybody coming into material wealth from seeking the kingdom. To buttress my point a bit more think about the man that said silver and gold i have none, wasn't he a kingdom seeker? What of the man that said that the poor will always be with us, did he lie?
The truthful and simple explanation is that Jesus made that statement to show how important the kingdom is to us christians. That it is by means of the kingdom that all of mankind problems will be solved. In other words, when we get into the kingdom, we are provided with all other things.

There are different kinds of christian and i think that i am one of the lesser known kind that doesn't need magical incentive to worship.

If only they could convert just a fraction of the billions of megawatts of Holy Ghost power to elctric power, nigeria would a more comfortable country to live in. So far the only practical thing i have seen the "holy ghost" do is to dumb down their followers in other to facilitate the easy picking of their pockets.

Hmm... What can i say? By their fruits you shall know them, or in this case by their requests you shall know them. Their request was as expected, shallow and self centered borne out of their materialistic understanding of christianity.
No one is asking for really important things like the increased outpouring of God's holy spirit to empower us to become better christians, to be impartial to all men, extending acts of loving kindness to our neighbours especially the weakest among us in this increasingly hostile and competitive world.
No one is thinking of storing up tressures in heaven while in pursuit of their daily sustenance. Rather it is how to get this or how to get that.
Your only enemy is satan and his demons, and they are not out to get your naira and kobo because they know that in the greater scheme of things, it holds very little value. What they are after is our salvation- God's greatest gift to us and as christians we should pray continously and fight everyday to safeguard it. As jesus said where your treassure is the heart would be also

He was clearly guided by a spirit, we could call it the spirit of greed or thief-thief or indeed any other lying spirit. But definitely not the holy spirit.

The sad thing is that some of these guys would rather pay the patnership fee as well as tithes and offerings than pay their tax and nepa bills while bemoaning the poor state of power supply.

Crazyman deserves some credit for his effort if not his delivery. He was brave enough to step up to his self appointed challenge as mouthpiece of christians but failed miserably to deliver.
Mr Anony whom i disagree with on many issuesof faith gave a far more credible defence of God on a thread that wasn't his.
I am handicapped by my poor writing skill to mount a proper dedence of some of the questions our atheist "friends" throw at us.
Some of these questions like: Why did God not make his creature to be always good?surely one can excercise freewill in an infinte number good ways they would reply in answer to freewill defence. A friend of mine once asserted that God if he exist was evil to some extent because, he encompasses everything, the universal set if you will and every other thing a subset. That means that no thaught, action, material or indeed anything real or abstract can exist if it is not already part of god.
Questions like this are complex, as christians we should not shy away from them. finding answers to them deepens our understanding and helps us appreciate the God we serve all the more.

This goes to show the lack of substance people in churches like this have become accustomed to. In truth she is no different from the pastors, after all they all repeat words from the same boiler plate script intended to whip up emotions rather than the increase in knowledge and understanding. Words such jesus loves you, halleluyah, praise the lord and the promise of miracles and protection feeds on our emotion. That kind of worship is too shallow, it makes us to view God based on what we can get from him instead of loving him for his endearing qualities.
I know that my atheisic friends reading this would instantly point to the old testament, but that is another discussion for another day.

As a christian it is my opinion that it is very wrong for a child of that age to be teaching adults. A child of that age can't posses much understanding of the scriptures beyond the very shallow if at all any. In other words beyond parroting the words jesus loves you and john 3:16 along with a few other boiler plate verses and the promise of miracles as well as speaking in a cacophonous tongues of gibberish, he knows nothing.
Jesus did not start his ministry until he became an adult, his deciples were all adults. You might ask about Jesus being in the temple when he was just twelve years old, but do realise that he was there to learn and not to teach like that little boy. It was the depth of his questions that the adults around him found amazing.

@frosbel, ijawkid, truthislight and nedostic: you have all done a wonderful job in exposing the lie of eternal life in hellfire as something not supported by the bible and more importantly, that it contradicts God's main attributes among which are: love, wisdom, mercy and justice.
If God is love, can he subject people to eternal torture without hope of redemption?
If he is merciful, can he listen to the agonising cries of people for all eternity and not be moved to show mercy?
If he is just, then where is the justice of subjecting someone to excruciating torture for eternity as punishment for sins commited in a finite liftime?
If he is wise, where is the wisdom in giving life to people without precondition only to torment them in hellfire for failing to abide by his rules?

I disagreed with you then, because i thought you failed to make your case, but i also resented your snide, know it all, contemptuous attitude which i felt was very unbecoming of a christian and unfavorable to a healthy debate.
However, if you truly understand what love is, now is the time to use it as a guiding light to examine the hellfire doctrine and determine for yourself if the bible teaches it and if Gods love permits such a wicked place to exist.
