The honest truth is that a honest selfless and educated nigerian (as you put it) will never want to risk his life protesting for the seat of the president in an election that is full of violence, corruption, rigging and even pre determined before the election starts. and even before the election alot of dirty games happen like assasisination and the stupid Godfatherism.

You have to be spiritually strong, corrupt and ready to cheat to win an election in nigeria. A Normal Qualified Person has no chance.

Sorry for our Judiciary, they have now endorsed corruption. Ribadu should quit, go home and enjoy his life with his wife because Nigeria will not get anywhere like this.

lets be honest, just because we know that Dariye's is corrupt does not neccessarily mean that he was rightfully sacked, since when did 8 out of 24 become a majority vote? Only in Nigeria. That's is why the court ruled in his favour. if you want to sack someone, sack him the right way, and don't just rush and do a wuruwur job

This is a dangerous precedence, and I must add that our parliament must quickly amend the constitution. The danger inherent in this is that, as soon as another government is installed, so long as the VP have the support of the house, he can change party and continue to remain in the opposition, simply because his allegiance is not to the President but the constitution. What a flaw in our constitution! Anyway, I want to believe that the supreme court will right this error of judgment.

I think we are getting things wrong, the court did not say the VP cannot be moved from office, it says the president has no power in removing him, there are procedures i believe in removing the VP or President from office, but i doubt if they want to go down that route of impeachment as we no some senators are not interested.
