Many things can influence ur score e.g if u are working, tym invested in preparatn, materials used for prep etc.

So as not to take chances, I'll advice u fly maybe d evening b4 d interview and lodge in a hotel, as dis will make u eschew d risk of having ur flyt delayd.

For most schools, SOP is submitted electronically. Itz not required for interview, but itz d synopsis that the VO wants to hear when (s)he ask you the purpose for choosing ur course, wot ur course will do for u & why that school.

Tho, I know it myt be difficult for u getting here always putting into consideration ur class engagements, but i still believe u can always find ur way here. U've said it all. I like ur faith, u are already self-motivating. On this thread we've read diffrent testimonies, some ppl not been asked abt dere test scores and so on. Ur low Toefl score shudn't be much of an issue anyway. And ur very hi GRE shud be a booster. Keep on being positive in ur thot and d visa will be urs....Ajayi crowther univ- u mind if i send u a PM?

I left the first university due to personal reasons and I attended unilag to keep my self busy until I was ready to take a bold step to study abroad. The question is do I stand a chance of getting a visa after attending both universities? I can't lie about not attending the universities because they have my records in their system. I have a current visitors visa. I have been travelling since my childhood. What is the favourable excuse I could use for leaving both universities to study in the US? I finished secondary school since 2008. Please help me

Kinda complicated but i think i shud put mysef in d shoes of d VO now. As d VO, i can say d only subterfuge u can use to convince me is illness.Cos itz kinda difficult to jst tell d VO u left ur 1st sch cos of personal reasons, dat doesn't sound convincing and (s)he my nt see u as been assiduous- datz a quality all students must possess.Moreover I dnt tink u can be asked for a proof of dt illness. Tho, i can't tell u to say dat as it myt not go down well wit u or ur fate, and myt sound so desperate. But if u feel datz a gud way, be careful of d illness u wil mention and also rememba to add dat u've been cured... Dunno if i made little sense sha

Am nw @ a crossroad for d 3rd sch as am nw teetering between choosing TAMU (dat depends solely on ma GRE score if itz vry hi), LSU- Louisianna state univ, Univ of North Carolina @ Charlotte, Univ of California- Riverside or Univ of Akron. I tink dere tuition(and other costs) estimate all suites my wallet as i wil be self-sponsored and dere ranking isn't bad. Am a Master's applicant for Electrical Engr...Jst wanna know more abt d states dese schools are, hw ar dere cost of living, demography of blacks, dere attidudes towards africans and other info abt d sch dat u knw myt be helpful
NB: I am also researchin online but informatn can neva be too much.
