There is no comprehensible tennis reason that Serena should lose to Jokovic who
struggles to reach 90 mph serve.

And did you see Niemenen against Nadal. Some of his second serves should earn him
a ban from the tour. angry angry angry angry

Pace and desire. Something that is decidedly lacking in our frontline at the moment.

Serena lost to Jokovic. No one was more surprised than Jokovic herself.

36 unforced errors says it all I think undecided

adjustments have to be made with this team. . .

I suggest we go to a three man defence if we cannot get a right back
to replace that Apam. I dread to think that another right back is worse than the guy.

Our full backs just made no attempt to go forward. I reckon Taiwo had no choice but to stay
back because he had no left midfielder to play with. Our attacking game really suffered on that account.

Kanu playing midfield is one of the daftest innovations I have ever seen.
A player who barely has the stamina to play upfront given the responsibilty in the midfield.

That Getafe player has to play. He is one of our best dribblers and he can come in on the left. It would give us
a distinct advantage.

Havin Makinwa playing on the wing is also stupid. Who is he crossing for? Martins and Yak are not tall enough.

If we are going to play Utaka then I suggest up the middle. His attitude sucks when he plays on the right of midfield.
He only plays when the spirit moves him. He is forced to be more involved when he plays up the middle.
And he is crucial to our chances I feel because he is our most skillful player outside of Kanu.

I was pleasantly surprised by Taiwo's defending considering the tricky players he had to face.
But gosh it is suicidal leaving him one on one against wingers without protection.

Up front I think Osaze showed dynamism when he came on. I think he had the desire most of all.

Unlike people who think the Ivoriens have a better team I would beg to differ.

Their players might be playing for the bigger clubs but I do think on reflection we are on a par.

Their goalkeeper is a disaster waiting to explode and their defence can be stretched given the chance.

But our coach was a dodoyo Proper M U M U angry angry angry angry angry angry angry angry

Letter to Berti Vogts

In order not to give yourself hypertension, you need to know the following things about the country you work for:

1 - every Nigerian is an arm chair coach! They know more than the coach who stayed with the players 2 weeks and decided to field his best team

2 - even when you lose to a team that is better than you, the fact that they are better is too painful for Nigerians to swallow, hence find a suitable culprit to blame! (insert your name in place of culprit) cheesy grin grin

3 - lose a game and its predictions of doom, if you do not win each and every one of your games, woe unto you cheesy

If you take these three rules to heart, you won't have any problems.

@Kobojunkie.

If only it were that easy. What plans can you put in place when credit facilities are witheld and you have foreign reserve shortages.
Economic mismanagement preceded the imposition of sanctions but you cannot for the life of me argue that the situation has not been
exacerbated by by the economic sanctions.

http://www.newzimbabwe.com/pages/sanctions36.13187.html

Besides. . .

The only reason Zimbabwe has been singled out in such a manner is because the victims of what is an African wide phenomenon of power hungry
dictators are white in this instance.

All over Africa such drama of corruption and blatant opportunism are played out everyday and yet they are supported by aid agencies.

I wouldn't take KG because he sure has a lot of help on that team.

I still think Brandon Roy and less so Chris Paul(David West) have done more for their team
relative to the talent around them.

Roy is a class act folks, across the board unlike one selfish brother that plays at Staples.

I am in no way absolving Mugabe of any responsibility in the situation in Zimbabwe. . .

But these sanctions need to be eased. The point has been made and some of the suffering has to be alleviated.

You guys might find comedic value in the economic crisis, but Mugabe, despite his obstinacy
isn't singlehandedly responsible for the Zimbabwean crisis.

The sanctions that have been placed on the country have been the catalyst for this economic collapse.

yes i have read the interpreters
Well thats a surprise. I have tried without sucess to get people to read the book and
after the first few pages they give up complaining its too difficult.

Personally I think its one of the best books I have ever read and his best book although people
rate the sentimentality of Ake over it.

The comedy is what sets it apart. . .especially Sagoe's 'voidant' disposition. The language was difficult in parts
but it had that rarest of qualities:it made you think and when you did there was a delight to be found.

I am also partial to the book because it is centred around the sixties, my favorite period of Nigeria's history.

Anyway. . .how about yourself----------what did you think of the book?
