david, just because they know the use and function of condoms and such DOES NOT mean they will have sex. That's the kind of thinking that gets these pastors with their daughters dealing with baby mama drama.

will deal with everything else in a few. tongue

One of my fav songs on that album.

The first being "Fantasy" which he SHOULD do a video for cheesy

The name of this song is NOT Hallelujah Btw. It's called "Second Chance".

Was the boy sef raised in the North, he speaks Hausa in alot of his songs.

teach wetin? Me self, student.  cheesy

You work at a clinic osisi, I'm sure just by eavesdropping alone, you've learned enough.  wink

Add On:

Seriously though, my problem with very religious families is how in denial they are about sex. I guess that explains why most of the time their kids end up mentally disturbed. Why are they always so sexist too? I've never really heard of these people discussing how "honorable" it is if a guy waited for marriage too, always the females. why? Do the same words that concern fornication in the Bible not extend to males as well, what exactly is it? The same guys that complain about "sinful dressing Delilahs" are the same people sleeping with these same girls yet have the audacity to scream for purity and chasisty and how the word is so sex-obsessed, yada yada yada.
You mentioned in one thread that before your husband was saved by Christ, he had been with various women. I wonder if he had felt the same about you had it been the other way around and you too later was reformed thru Christ. Highly doubtful

Hard as it may be why cant THEY have self control? Why is such a thing only placed on the women. We all go thru puberty, we all have hormones, I know most people are in denial and ignorant but here's a secret: women have sexual urges too, why are they the only ones who have to supress until their wedding day? I will never understand.
You'd think these so called relkigious families will shed light on this but instead they lock the girls under lock and key and expect her to stay in the cage. Doesnt work that way.
You can be like "um sex is adult matters" and expect the child to forget about it and never be curious cos they will be and they will end with the wrong information cos they are so afraid to ask questions. What exactly is it that they (these parents) are afraid of? Would they really rather their kids come back with STDs then dare mention the word "condom" or pill in their homes?

Pretty people are allowed to be arrogant/full of themselves. After all they are nice to look at

Now ugly people however like MonaLis Chinda and such should stay in the basement and never come out. eyesores.
Christianity Etc › Re: Sex: An Enigmatic Subject? by Dreloaded(f): 11:01pm On Jan 24, 2008
you know in this thread you people continued to prove why it's an "enigmatic" topic right?

all this talk of burning in hell fire isnt gonna make people open up. The same people banishing fornicators into hell fire are usually the same that still wont go beyond missionary when they are married anyway.

Then of course you have the ever so self righteous ones who immediately believe that if you discuss sexual matters without blushing or with a ring on your hand, then you must be a prostitute. I guess the only way I can discuss the history of Japan is if I live there.

Anyway I guess if i have to go by that list, Im NSR.

Marjolaine:
I started to get interested in Nigerian cultures as I had a relationship with a Nigerian man.
However, he turned out one of the worse men I've ever met in my entire life. The only thing I got out of it was my interest in the Nigerian country.
Rofl. Was his name Mr. Pataki? tongue

Seriously tell us more. Then yiou'll know what to avoid during your visit.

Same way he believes that such an action is "fine to do to women", I have the same right to believe he's evil. Like he said we are all entitled to our opinions, abi? A dupe. We thank God for that

shapey:
okay guys,i've been with my husband all through the day-we are still a bit like strangers.you know just like we are getting to know each toher again.the sister knows about the restraining order.her brother told her and she was speechless.we'll be going back home tomorrow.we are still in my cousin's place-no food in my house.
we have also decided to start trying for babies-just one anyway. cheesy. i'm looking forward to a new beginning, and you guys on nairaland will also take credit for that.i would never have done it without you.i've introduced my hubby to this site, and when he's got the time,he'll visit.
It's a good thing you live around supportive family members, most women in these kinda situations have to deal with it alone sad
Lol being the one that likes watching drama, his siter not knowing about the order until she tried her madness would have been quite amusing but at least she knows and maybe now she'll behave herself. Luckily in England they respect the laws, she'll remember that she's not in Nigeria if she wants to try any nonsense angry

Best wishes with the new beginning. if you like you can name the baby after me. tongue

Paraki, My papa was president of that organization for 3 years jare. Ekiti Kete  grin tongue We no deal with cowards! shio

amsky, yes joshjosh was quite supportive of your cousin's plight which was nice, I wont deny that and I can see how you are grateful and such even though he's not the only one who did.

But a person who can run their mouth about female circumsion and act like it's "no big deal" is a BARBARIAN in my book and I have no respect for such a person. It's very obvious he doesnt know what he's talkkng about and instead of admitting it, he has the audacity to try to argue with me. He can keep trying to fool himself and others but I can see through his nonsense. All his passage quoting and parables arent going to change anything.

Alailojuti.

joshjosh:
ifthere would still be groups of people doing circumcisions. it is not because they want to mutilate their kids that is what is difficult for the sex obsessed people to believe. but that is the truth.
Yes because only "sex-obsessed" people are against destroying the female body. Just look at the garbage, "just because skin has been streched", you are really comparing destroying the nerves in the clit to "skin streching", It's SO obviously how ignorant you are on this topic. You're mentally twisted and there's no point in discussing this with you. All the Jesus talk in the world isnt going to change that.

Who cares if this was written in 2005, your stance obviously hasnt changed hence the incredibly idiotic statement you just made. Only reason I brought it up is because amsky and co were wishing women on you whereas i wouldnt wish my worse enemy to be with you or to even have a daughter WITH you.

Anyway back to topic. Witch is gone and a home has been saved. Wishing shapey and co all the best in their marriage.

amsky:
yeah guys how are we'all doing?the soceress of a sister in law has been slammed with a restraning order-earlier than we thought, and as for shapey, she'll be moving back to her home tonight.her husband must be having a hard time digesting what has just gone on.but like i always say there's always a lesson to learn.shapey is with her husband, the guy is desprately trying to win her heart back.
and i'm busy getting jealous sad wink
Lol. Thank God. smiley They shouldnt even let her know they have a restraining order against her. Anytime she's near they should just call the cops. Psycho tart.

amsky, just that some Nigerian situations are so predictable. Like I said, I'm mostly happy for shapey that she and her husband mostly patched things up before going to Nigeria.

Romance › Re: Is It Right To Ask A Girl If She Has A Boy Friend by Dreloaded(f): 4:58pm On Jan 24, 2008
Oh please

Let me tell you the lame line most guys say in order to check if your girl is single.

"you are quite prettty, YOUR BOYFRIEND is very lucky" or something along those lines where they try to imply that you must have a boyfriend already

They say this to see if you would say "Yes he is" or "Thanks but I actually don't have one"

I hear that garbage all the time, you'd think they'd come up with some other trick by now.

Family › Re: Tell Us About Your Marriage by Dreloaded(f): 4:06pm On Jan 24, 2008
whatever AJ, most people here who wrote about their marriage were also questioned about various things they have written, if you read thru the thread completely you'd see that. Not sure why geegee should be an exception.

She doesnt have to respond obviously, I was personally just curious, not looking to bash her or some crap.
