ceelog:Thank you sir, I'm actually a novice when it comes to building and this platform has been very helpful. 1&2- I'll tell the builder to look into it. I could not figure that out on my own and we didn't discuss that when he was explaining to me. 3- The dining is not going to be walled off. He said there are going to be pillars and archs there. The omission of the living room upstairs is deliberate. Its for a very small conservative family. Any idea on what to expect in terms of cost? Thank you for your contribution sir. |
What a fascinating topic to read. God bless you Op for this. For me, iI'll add; Makkah/Medina- As a Muslim, performing hajj is one of the pillars of Islam. I pray Allah make it easy for me next year. In Sha Allah |
I want the experts to pls help me criticise this design and possibly give a better input where necessary as I don't have any plan to build another residential building for personal use for d next 2 decades, at least. I still appreciate the goodwill and the passive supports I had while building the house we live in presently. I'll ask them to send a clearer picture as I'm not in the country at the moment. https://www.nairaland.com/2173772/lessons-learnt-while-building-house |
Hello Sirs, I want to embark on this project, precisely next week. We're planning to move here from our 4 year old bungalow. Same city( Abeokuta) but different environment. The land is quite small, we have another structure beside the proposed building so we are left with this piece of land to build this. The project is going to be supervised by a builder. 3 designs were sent and I chose this. I just want to have an idea of what to expect in terms of cost. I told him that I want us to do it in phases. The first phase will be from foundation to completion of the decking, second will take it to level and parapet, 3rd will be roofing and all that and we continue like that, non stop (In Sha Allah). Please what's the reasonable amount to expect in the first 2 phases? Any suggestion as regards the design? Nb: the land was sloppy but it's been sand filled to level 1 year ago

EmirAbj:Hmmm, this is not so true bro. Obj actually supported Adetunji Olurin of PDP While Daniel Supported Gboyega Nasir of PPN. Amosun won the election under the ACN. GNI had the 2nd highest votes(about 188k votes) and baba Olurin came 3rd(about 120k). There were speculations that Obasanjo used Olurin's candidacy to divide the votes coming from yewa so that Amosun could have a better chance. |
mknigeriagreat:Obj didn't work against his own daughter bro. In fact, Iyabo supported her father against Daniel. Iyabo was not returned to the senate because of what obasanjo did to Dimeji Bankole. He foiled a well planned rigging plan that fateful day and Dimeji's father, knowing that his son was going to lose quickly went for a revenge because it was so glaring that it was obj that played that political shot. There was supposed to be a massive rigging at obafemi owode in favour of iyabo but that was not made possible by the Dimeji camp. |
One day, I'll be on that list... Some of us went through a lot in the hands of our parents/ teachers in those days who made many attempts to convert us to right handers. |
justi4jesu:Noted. You are very right. Thank you. |
Dokitadotun:Okay sir. You can as well make your enquiries here unless it's highly revealing. |
SirWellington:Wow, probably the fastest in terms of arrival to engagement time ME I've heard about. God has made it possible for u, to achieve what some of us waited for 2 months to achieve, despite the harsh weather. Although, its wrong to work while you're still on visit visa but if that's the only option at your disposal at the moment, do it with wisdom. Congratulations bro and kudos to the Nairalander. |
Welcome to tye clan Saint Akpabio, your 2019 Senatorial ticket is guaranteed and you are free of all corruption charges. |
The country called lagos |
The Nigerian police are just playing to the gallery. We all know that those "good boy" were hired by the SP to win elections for the APC at various level in 2015, the presidential election inclusive. What I believe is that saraki can not go down alone with this. They'll either leave him or he'll mess everything up. |
Mammoth what This is so hilarious. |
Wilder doesn't look like the person anyJoshua can touch. |
That's great. |
Trottle:There are a lot of NGOs out there that are not sincere with what they do with the funds they raise from donors. These people feed fat while those at the receiving end (the targets) get very little or nothing. Some only come up with figures on papers to cajore the donors to keep donating. In Nigeria today, people who live on Polio don't want polio eradicated in Nigeria as fund will no longer come in. There are more people living on HIV than people living with HIV. If u know, u know. This I know and have seen. I'm a volunteer in 2 NGOs, I use my skill and little money to help the less privileged in my own little way.these NGOs are into organising free medical and surgical treatment to people who can't afford it. We do the surgery free of charge and we contribute money to buy them preop and post op medications. Rotary or Lion club is another platform to reach the unreached. |
Thats a whole lot of money that'll span for generations. He should emulate Bill Gate by donating to genuine Charity organizations. |
Happy birthday Seun, respect Sir. |
Beauty within |
Nice man, I once saw him at gold souq. |
My wife left her car in the middle of the road and escaped with my son at brewery when the flood struck them. The flood has resolved and the traffic has gone down but She's insisting that she won't return there this night, based on what she witnessed. Its there in the middle of the road, I just pray nothing happen to it till tomorrow morning, I'm just confused. |
Happy birthday to me. Although, every phase of life has its own associated challenges, I must give thanks to God for taking me this far. Since stepping my foot on UAE soil 7 months ago, its been a success story and looking at the future ahead, I believe that the best is yet to come. To everyone here, may the Lord Almighty bless our hustle and we shall not return home empty handed by His grace(amen). |
