Some of you here passing judgment on the senator, do that for the hate of GYB. The Senate was a successful bank executive until his people lured him to vie for Kogi governorship. He was stripped off his entire investments, denied governorship and became pauper. It took GYB's benevolence to rehabilitate him, made him a Senator for two time and recently made his son-in-law a ministerial nominee. What is wrong in simply kneeling down in appreciation for the massive elevation? Many of the people condemning his show of gratitude will roll on murky water for a mare salary job.

That was a commendable move by Phillip Shuaibu. We want our children to excel in their academic pursuits but end up celebrating immoralities like big brother Africa and nude related activities in the name of celebrities. Today, the institution is one of the best state owned universities in Nigeria. The same goes for CUSTECH established about three years ago amidst the loud cry of no money. It is one of the most sort after universities in the country. Beyond politics, If the governor sees the need for a state university in okun land, such idea should be applauded because education is the bedrock of every successful society. Every penny spent on education yields the highest return on investment. Kogi leads in educational endowment and achievement in the northern Nigeria and this is a clear testament to that. Kudos GYB
