Became home sick, decided to give Uber a try today. Did four trips, back to back, between 9am - 11am before going back home after seeing the number of uber cars idling away. The trips were all between Lekki and Ajah. It felt so good being out there. I was happy going out to work and overcoming my fears.

But some Nigerians are something else. You literally have to force them to wear mask. They wear it for five minutes, then pull it back down. You seriously have to keep telling adults to wear back the mask. Lol

It's one of these prophetic ministries. I made some money after a prayer there which I can no longer account, and immediately they noticed things were improving for me, they started demanding money to do this or that in the church.

I had to practically shun all of them and blacklisted their numbers last two months.

Anything that will make me spend unnecessarily now, I will cut it off. My gf knows I can break up with her if she bugs me financially. I'm not her papa. If I decide on my own, I spend on her but I'm not sure I will spend a dime till things improve again

I have been dating a girl for about 18 months now. Very pretty but my brothers, let me tell you...look before you leap when it comes to pretty girls.
From the minute I met this girl it has been one money request after another. If it was small sums I guess I wouldn't really mind, as I have always worked for blue chip companies and can afford it. The thing is, her requests are always very big!.....20k this, 20K that.....but my brothers, I have to tell you the one that has made me even disappointed in myself.

She lives with her parents and they are the most dysfunctional family I have ever heard of...Everyday one person is fighting the other, and this my girlfriend, as fine as she is, is the most arrogant, prideful, violent & rude person I have ever met. She hounded me everyday that I must get her an apartment of her own, so she can escape her home, and I agreed to but by saving monthly.

Would you believe, one night, when she was working at a bar as an usher for guinness, she gave her number to 2 different men just because of this apartment. my spirit kept telling me that she gave her number out, but she kept lying...only for me to catch her texting one of the men when we were at church of all places.......she even went as far as going to meet this rich man at a hotel, but the man ran away when she made that request, and I as a fool decided to finally do it for her. (I suspect she cheated on me that night and I always tell it to her face because she has cheated on me twice before)

I live on the Island and tried to get her to rent here as well, as I really want to keep an eye on her.....She has too many guys around her who live in that area and she is this kind of person who cheats out of revenge, even over small things.....this girl refused and threatened to break things off!....bro, as a mumu I sent the money to her to rent the place and for other things, about 400K.....

Ever since that money left my account, it's like my eyes cleared!!! I couldn't believe that instead of saving my hard earned money, I went and sent it to a girl that has cheated on me twice (or even more), lied to me, slapped me and done so many things.....but I just decided to leave everything for God, seeing as she was desperate.


The problem now is that the demands for that apartment is now becoming too much!!! The expenses just to get the place finished are such a burden on my financial and mental state...The worst happened about two days ago, she wanted me to pay 20k....Infact I just got so tired of bills that I kinda was stalling on it, but what happened next truly shocked me.. ....would you believe this girl started punching me, slapping me and even tore my shirt cos of 20k.....she even threatened to break my office laptop (working from home) until I sent the money, after that she left........now she is trying to apologize so that I will pay for bed and gas and the remaining things....my brothers, I know u will say am a fool!...I accept...I am a handsome guy, studied abroad, I just don't know why loneliness made me fall in love with such a sadistic user...my only problem is, do I pay for the bed and just finish what I started or just free the whole thing and the nearly 500K I have already spent...please help!

Right from when I was a child my father has always been irritated by me he has never seems to see any good in me I’m his first son and he doesn’t even act like it... I’ve seen my friends father-son relationship and I can’t but envy them my father hardly talked to me about life or About growing up he never cared to know what I do or cared to know who I hang out with I made a lot of mistakes growing up from 15-22 I got enveloped on drugs I had a tattoo on my forearm which till today he has no idea I’m not proud of it I had it when I was 16 I’m getting a laser removal soon I made a lot of mistakes growing up Mistakes that would have been avoided if I had some type of guidance he keeps up with the payment of my school fees and allowance and other financial benefits but it’s not all about that you know I’ve never been 24 before I don’t know what to expect but he has some sort of experience but he doesn’t share He was always quick to punish me as a kid and by punishment I mean flogging me with a hanger or with broom or with a tree branch he’ll flog me till I lose my voice from crying it was horrible growing up that the best moments of my growing up was when I went to the hostel away from home now he can’t obviously beat me so he switched to verbal assault he insults me at every opportunity he gets he curses me says I’ll never amount to anything he says things like I’m a bastard mind you he has been verbally assaulting me since I was little he calls me bastard as a normal insult I try to act though like it doesn’t get to me like his words don’t mean anything but deep down in my heart I’m broken I battled and conquered drug addiction on my own I was lost in secondary school sucked dick and was sucked but no penetration I’m not proud of this but I did it I’m mind you I’m not homosexual I was just bicurious and really Hot back then all this mistakes I made I’ve overcome and still trying to overcome them on my own I just feel it would have been easier if my dad had some sort of love for me

When would we Abians rise to the occasion? This so called fly over was inaugurated weeks before Gov. Dave Umahi started the first fly over at Preco junction in Abakaliki that was in 2012. Now Umahi has constructed and infact commissioned not only that one but 4 more and has completed 3 new ones around other cities in Ebonyi waiting commissioning and many other fly overs yet at various stages of construction. There is this girl I've been dating for over two years. When she comes to my house, she's as respectful as a woman can be.
She cleans everywhere, cooks, does her best. She has a twin sister.

One day, according to the story I heard, the mum called the sister and asked her to clean up the house. But she murmured and refused. The mom started shouting and saying angry words, and my GF supported her sister against their own mother.

The sister then said that she can always present herself as a good girl when she is out there in the public.

Her mum then made a statement. She said that her any woman who puts on a bad attitude when she is with her family, and then puts on a good attitude when she steps out of the house will be exposed sooner or later.

Her mum really respects me and she called me to complain about the attitude of her daughters. She was so heartbroken that she spoke to me on phone for 37 minutes. She cried the whole time. She's a widow and she brought up these twin daughters alone since their dad died.

I then called my girlfriend and told her that she is restricted from coming to my place for two months for the insults she gave her mum. Babe flared up and said that I should have heard her own side of the story. Lol. She said that my relationship with her doesn't involve anyone including her mum.

She insisted that I should have heard her own side of the story first before judging. I said okay. Sorry Nne, cos that's what she wanted.

I then told her again to go and apologize to her mum. The tears of a mother can cause a great catastrophe in a child's life.

This morning, I called again to find out if she has apologized. The young woman said that she will do so when she feels like.

People of Nairaland, I am not a sissy guy. I recognize red flags in a relationship. This girl appears to have a heart of stone. If she can't apologize to her own mum, then it is a great red flag indeed.

Some children behave very well in the open, or in a man's house, but when they get back to their own family, their true color comes out. If I wasn't close to the mother, perhaps I would never have known that she is like this.

I think when dating a woman, or a guy, one should try to relate with other members of the person's family so that you may know some things about that person that you're dating.

I'm thinking of ending this relationship. A girl in her 20s who finds it hard to tell her mum sorry is a great danger indeed.
