skydeep: Nigerian men dont have time for women with vocabs. All they want is a good cook, romantic, clean and faithful women. Then every other thing shall be added unto it grin
lol, u really are funny and must have a low opinion of Nigerian men. On the contrary most of them do care, if the lady can communicate or not. I know 4 sure that all my enlightened pals do care alot and all have very enlightened chicks as wives.
Celebrities › Re: Are Sungirls Models Or Randomly Chosen Girls? by drnoel: 10:51am On Mar 31, 2012
MRbrownJAY: @OP
the sun girl, or page 3 girl as it is commonly known, was something that they use to do in the UK. it was strictly next door girl posing in the newspapers (mostly topless). since Nigeria like to copy copy, they started doing their own version of such practice, with just about anyone out there seeking to be a "star" for a day, regardless of their look, appeal etc.
there is nothing wrong in their copy copy as long as they don't damage our eyes with the type of girls they put on their newspaper. The sun girls are just randomly picked normal people.

Obiagu1: His prayer would be answered. A new Usman Danfodiyo would come to liberate the North from this union with infidels and create the great Islamic Republic of Arewa.
It won't be an Usman Danfodiyo. These people should not bother themselves about where the person should come from or if the person is male or female. What is important is the persons mind set.

UK Bobo: She is a product of her environment and expects such. My girlfriend Funmi (she came from Nigeria five years ago) also had similar cultural views but now understands that we have to work as a team. Funmi has two friends who married women back home and they both broke up within the first three years, due to excessive expectation and differing expectations of what a partner should provide and cater for. Money issues are in the top three of relationship breakdown excuses so you need to find out her world view and gauge whether her mind is open to change, reason and discussion. If she is the stubborn type, RUN and don't look back.
The Nigerian environment doesn't help matters at all. I had the same problem too but thank God my woman is finally getting the picture.

Politics › Re: Elrufai Predicts Coup In Nigeria by drnoel: 12:00pm On Mar 25, 2012
These people are sore losers. they've been in power all this while while the south-south has just sat and watched but that that while they just enriched themselves and did nothing 4 the country and now that the south-south is in power, they are crying foul. That coupe will not happen, if it does it will be bloody cos the south-south will not sit and just watch like they did previously. Anyone who has brain in his head should have realized that by now. Anyone calling 4 coupe in Nigeria is a bloody traitor and should be treated as such, an enemy of the state. The person should be hunted down like an animal. Have we not learnt anything 4rm history, what has the numerous coupes done in Nigeria brought Nigerians, nothing. GEJ is now in power, I am not happy with his government but its his time now to rule. He has made some good moves and some bad ones, its best we support him 4 the growth of the country. Though, I think he should use more force on these militants and not go greasing their pride.

Guys, am sure u guys saw the post 4rm our own NL Mr. Cork (Why Do Males Pretend They Never Check Out Other Mens Nyansh??) http://www.nairaland.com/894883/why-do-males-pretend-they

I didn't think I should really comment on his post cos it didn't agree with me but I have noticed myself and many of my guys have also confirmed that they've caught women checking up their ass. Question is why do ladies do this? Ladies, why do u check up a guy's ass, what do u think when u do so? Guys if u've had similar experience mention it here.
Romance › Re: Where/how Did You Meet Your Spouse? by drnoel: 7:14pm On Mar 23, 2012
Mogten: seeing how unwilling people are to commit to relationships these days, I wonder if relationships, especially from the university could transit to marriage.....pls share your experiences on where/how you met your spouse, and how long it took before you got married....your experiences might serve as a hope-giver.
hmm, this one is not so easy. I married my uni girlfriend though. But this does not work for everybody since people fxn in different ways so Confucius says "concentrate not on where u meet the girls but on her characters, qualities and how u both feel 4 each other, cos that is what will hold u guys 2gether in the end.
Romance › Re: How Can You Tell A Guy He Is Way Too Nice And It Is Turning You Off? by drnoel:
Cosmass: There is a very sweet, nice guy you like which initially was good but as time went by, he is still very nice and when I mean nice, I mean "VERY". Even when you do something bad,he takes the blame, always lets you decide everything at the end, could compliment you 10 times in a day everyday, ready to overplease you at his own cost always etc

P.S I'm not saying it's bad but to some extent, he should also be able to stand for himself and sometimes please himself

How can one change or tell him he is being way tooooo nice?
This is one topic that is even too difficult 4 Confucius and he finds it so confusing. Confucius says " nice guy or not, women will just not understand. Its not about how nice the guy is but how they relate in the relationship"
Romance › Re: Is She A Virgin Please? by drnoel: 1:36pm On Mar 21, 2012
jobfront: Met this cutie recently at a shopping mall, gave her ride home, etc, etc, we checked ourselves out & it seems we kinda attracted romantically, mostly she, me too I am anyway.

We've been going out so often since the last few days we met, and finally, I took her to my place for the 3rd time now, and she is falling and I am equally falling before this incident.

The incident: we ended up cuddling and fplaying, & when both of us were down & supposed to bonk, she said HOLD! THAT SHE IS A VIRGIN. Lo & behold, I confirmed, and she has some portions of the hymen still in place. I told her blatantly that I don't like virgins for so many reasons best known to me, that if we must move on, I must punture d nylon, she said no, that thats y she parted with her ex, that they only romance, fplay, cuddle, lick n suck...n dnt bonk, & that same will be applicable to ours now. At this point, i got shocked, cos she equally wanted me to do same, which included kissing, necking, petting, erotic romancing, etc. She on her part, gave me Mouth Gig, romanced me so expertly I almost pumped out hot fluid from my borehole, but she said a big NO to penetration, saying that SHE promised her God that SHE will only be devirgined by her husband on her wedding night, I laughed, and I am still laughing....

My question is this: pls my fellows, is this girl a VIRGIN? when she romances, licks, sucks, kisses, etc? If so, is this the kind of virgins we have nowadays? If thats the truth, tufiakwa!!! aru!! This one no be for God Almighty sake o, na for Husband Mighty sake....what do you guys think?
see WACE question. did u not confirm wit ur hands and eyes, why are u still asking us.

ZUBY77: I know where this thread is heading. Women vs men but i still have to spill it.
When a man go to the market and buy a goat or a dog, he owns the animal. When a man buys a house or a piece of land, he owns it but when a man goes to a woman and pays bride price, ladies will start to shout that he doesnt own her. They will remind us that this is 21st century as if we forgot. I am not saying a man should maltreat his wife or even his dog but ladies should get it.
You are all for sale and when we buy you, we take you to our own families.
Let the war begin.
and one if those threads, make sure u tell ur wife so when u marry her. I am sure she will make sure u sleep on the floor till ur back is sore

Life is what you make it, it seems like NL is the life of most Nigerians. People can't post experiences to share becaue ya'll always have something bashing to say. You think WE are mad because WE got dumped. Plz, it's always the other way around! You are quick to draw conclusion that our story is false. Our experiences are just as much as important as your experiences that you post here.

Most of the time the mentality of the post is school talk. Being on this site is enertaining for me and my co-workers. To hear you cut up eachother the way you do, I expect no special treatment.
and u won't get anyone I tell u. Its nice 2 know u derive fun 4rm seeing how people tear themselves and others up here on NL. Atleast, u'd understand it got nothing 2 do with u, only when u make rather silly statements like u previously did.

blacklion: This is beginning to sound like Tales by Moonlight. A family meeting will be held in two months time to discuss what is at worst a minor infraction by a newly married wife due to ignorance or inexperience? These people get time on their handssmiley
I told them the same thing. I also told them am glad that it was not my family cos I would have told everyone involved off, uncles and elder brother inclusive. What bullshit. But looks like these things do happen, cos the couple involved are family friends. U know sometimes I understand why most white people don't care so much about family cos of all this minor complications that are turned to major ones.

Fhemmmy: May i ask what part of that animal would have gone to her husband?
How come the family that knows it all cant be the one to do the distribution since they are the one that are expert in how to distribute parts of an animal.
Besides, what is her husband saying in all these, cos it is what matters most.
Her hubby was initially upset with his family 4 giving his wife so much stress over what she didn't know.
When it finally downed on him that she was actually asked 2 distribute the stuff by one of his uncles that was against his wedding her (the uncle wanted him 2 marry the daughter of one of his rich business partners) he suspected foul-play. Then he told me one of his younger cousins overheard the said uncle gloating later 2 another uncle that this time they would make it so hard 4 her that his nephew will see how untrained she is, it was clear his wife was given the task cos they knew she would mess-up due to her inexperience.
I don't know what part of the animal her hubby was 2 get nor did her hubby know. Like I said he is the youngest of the brothers. The situation is tense now sha, but the hubby is very sympathetic with his wife but is saying nothing 2 his family. He told me he simply wants the stuff 2 blow over. The problem is, the extended family has told him formally that they would call him 2 discuss the issue in a few months and the couple is worried about what the uncles and elder brothers would request of his wife 2 make-up 4 the mix-up.

this is interesting

Ilekokonit: Human Papilloma Virus linked to rise in oral cancers
More than 6,000 cases a year

Oral cancer cases in the UK have risen to more than 6,000 a year for the first time, new figures from Cancer Research UK show.

Experts think an increase in Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) infections, transmitted through O.ral S.ex, are behind the rise. Around two thirds of cases occur in men.

Experts say that an increase in alcohol consumption by Brits cannot fully explain the rise in oral cancer rates, suggesting other factors are involved.

Up to eight out of 10 people in the UK are infected with HPV at some point in their lives. Many strains of the virus are harmless, and the infections often get better without treatment. However, a few "high-risk" strains, such as HPV-16, can persist and cause cell changes which can develop into cancer.

Richard Shaw, an expert in head and neck cancers at the Liverpool Cancer Research UK Centre, said: "We have seen a rapid increase in the number of HPV16-positive cases of oral cancer.

Politics › Re: Port-Harcourt, Awka, Enugu, Or Owerri? (Relocating To East) by drnoel:
I was raised in Lagos, but schooled and worked in most of the south -East, south-southern states. So I got 2 know most of these palces very well. I would recommend owerri cos of its peace and quiet and if its fun u want, the city rocks, the girls are fine and willing. U'd have a ball there if u got a nice car and some cash 2 burn. Aba was nice, but their nightlife can't be compared 2 owerri, besides Aba city has some crude things about it. I won't recommend u live in aba, but if u stay in Owerri u can always go 2 aba or PH to party (we used 2 do that a lot). Calabar and Uyo was where most of my friends while we where in the University a long time ago lost their Virginity. This places will take ur breathe away, life is very nice there but too dull and slow 4 a guy like me who grew-up in Lagos. Their party life is just nice, but the girls, men the girls. That was an experience.
Enugu, can be fun too, and I actually enjoyed a few moments there. If its drinking u want 2 do, then Enugu is the place. If its party and girls, em may be u try another place. Awka and Umuahia, really should not be in the map at all. Its depressing to go to those places. Nothing is happening there, u'd regret it if you go to live there (with all due respect 2 guys that are from there). Onitsha, is another drinking town, night life is not just there.
I don't know about Warri, Delta,or Benin.
