The fact that a few people do something like that does not mean that all cabin crew ladies do so. How silly can u be. Guys I saw this topic from a previous NL poster "Is It Disrespectful To Serve A Visitor With Just 1 Piece Of Meat" (link: https://www.nairaland.com/891691/it-disrespectful-serve-visitor-just) and decided I should maybe ask the opinion of the forum on this event that happened 2 a friend of my cousin. This said lady got married about 2years ago to her University hearthrob so the couple knew themselves well b4 they married. Though the lady in question was raised well (at least I think so) problem is that she can't seem 2 please her in-laws. The latest event that I am told broke the camels back was an issue that involved food (meat to be specific). From what I heard, there was an event within the extended family. She was supposed to give specific parts of the cow that was butchered to her husbands uncles, elder cousins and brothers but since she didn't know who gets which parts she mixed it all up. I am told her husbands elders brothers and cousins got really upset and took it for a sign of disrespect ("among her many other sins" so they said) and since then have been very mad with her. People, when I wedded last year, my people told me about this part of tradition but didn't stress how serious it can be taken and I used to think it was just formality till I heard about the case I mentioned. What advice would u give to the lady in question cos she is really broken? Can anyone shed more light on this part of tradition pls?

OP, Sometimes the mind plays tricks on us. Your husband is probably looking for something that is not missing. He is insecure!

Some people tend to just read meaning to simple things! He'd  probably noticed something unusual and rather than asking you, he just assumed. An innocent visit has now triggered a reaction based on his initial assumption. There is definitely more to it, and until he finds a way to communicate his insecurities and assumptions to you and hears your on side, he might repeat this same behaviour in a different way on another occasion.

Don't be too sure, u could be surprised what u see in some places. I went to Vienna 4 a conference some months ago and couldn't believe my eyes when I saw our Naija doctors flexing.

People who have the best of gadgets, live in communities where everything works, good road networks amongst others would now leave their comfort to come back to Nigeria E go hard small ooooo because, so many things go need be fixed in Nigeria like: Electricity, Traffic Situation, Road Network, Security, Health care technology would need to be improved amongst others. Is the government willing to spend money to improve health care My Pastor for instance is a Doctor and each time he talks about Nigeria, himself or his family cannot come back I can bet. The 3kids now tell everyone they also want to study Medicine and they have only visited Nigeria not more than 3times though their father visits like once in 2-3years at least according to the son.

The real problems here are many, how much will they be willing to pay these doctors in Nigeria?Will they be paying them more than they pay those back home slaving away in their motherland? what on earth are they going to work with, what equipments are in place to make them function properly? Is there enough power supply to ensure work continues without glitches?I really dont think it should be a government program to take doctors back home.
If the environment is attractive enough people will normally gravitate back home.
A serious government will set the stage and attact and encourage its own.
Unfortunately i don't see that happening with this government.

Problem is not how many doctors outside but what can the health system do for doctors that are dying 2 return home and implement their knowledge. Its a vicious system that we have in naija, health and education is always regarded as the most irrelevant. Even the countries budgets speaks 4 itself. Sorry but doctors would stay where they are till things improve and the health system becomes friendlier. But we all the a doctor friendly health system in Niaja is a pipe-dream.
