The game of politics is about interest, interest ranges from that of the overall populace, a group of people, individuals etc. A close look at both the ruling APC, the Sheriff factional PDP and that of the victorious Markafi camp clearly point to the interest they all represent- The Political Elite

When you look at both the PDP and APC constitutions, they clearly tilt to favor the political elite in both parties. In fact, it is difficult (if not impossible) for an outsider to emerge candidate through a transparent process without the dictate of political gladiators or godfathers in both parties. These aspirants emerge candidates, win elections and continue to protect the same interest of the elitist group. Hence, the phrase, "All of them are the same".

Before the launch of APDA on June 5, 2017, I was of the opinion that the party is neither a PDP fall-back or a plan B for the Markafi camp, the judgement has clearly given the APDA an opportunity to affirm what they stand for as a party.

The APDA, unlike the APC and PDP, has a constitution that surrenders power to their the people. This is a party whose constitution erode delegate system to entrench direct primary system that will see all members of the party to partake in the election of party leaders, candidates and other elective representative.

The APDA as a party allows for a minimum of 25% elective and appointive slots of members of Youth age (18-35) in all public and party offices. It further state a minimum of 30% for women and 5% for people living with disabilities.

Why then should Nigeria people, youths and women continue to waste their time, resources and votes on the parties (APC, PDP) and factions (Sheriff and Markafi) that only protect the interest of the political elite at the expense of the common man?

I am very happy that PDP crises has settled and PDP political heavyweights will concentrate on their party. I am very happy that the Nigeria electorates will now have the privilege to discern that APDA as a party means business.

One truth we must tell ourselves is that, whether Markafi or Sheriff, PDP is DEAD!!! It has gone 6 feet in the Northwest, it is hopeless in the Northeast, it is the equivalent of Ebola in the Southwest, in the Southeast Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB calls the shot even when PDP controls government (due to the fact that APC is/was no option). In the Southsouth, the governments in power are as incompetent as the government at the center, the story is not different in the Northcentral.

The ruling APC has failed but the only option for Nigeria in 2019 is to embrace a party that they can be active stakeholders in determining candidates for elective positions, so as to have emergence of leaders whose loyalty will be to the Nigeria people not the political elite.



We are STRONGER TOGETHER!!!

Years ago, had this flashy chick I was so interested in. That was until her bestest friend betrayed her and told me the truth about what I had been unaware of. Her friend told me plainly that she herself liked me and that the one I was interested in was not for me.
Told me the girl had a main guy that she was down for, that infact she calls me assistant boyfriend. Funny enof, when the heart wants what it does one is blind to certain things. The girl never gave me nothing, I was the one spending my parents money on her. I didn't even see her pants, nothing.
Anyways after her friends told me what she does and says, I visited them in school and her own friends set her up for me. I was at the door and overheard all their conversation. I heard all she said about me and how she referred to me. It hurt like hell, I thought I was gonno die from the pain. I didn't. I travelled back to my base and thought about my life. I made up my mind then that no more would I ever love any woman so blindly. I threw away her contacts.
This was until she got stranded in my city and came knocking at my door by around 10 pm. I had no idea she was even in town. I almost didn't open the door for her but I was still a nice guy then. I opened the door and even feed her sef.
What knocked me crazy was that what she started saying later, how I abandoned her in school and don't ask about her again and how I didn't care for her. I just told her the story of her life and told her to leave first thing in the morning. Later that night she started touching me, I initially tried to resist but kongi na bastard. I suddenly wanted to blast her, some guys will say atleast with the mindset of collecting back all I had spent. For where?
It wasn't meant to be. She let me get to first base but I never crossed to second base. She refused getting completely naked and never let me even get to her pants. Initially I was devastated but before she left that morning, I knew it was best cos I may have continued playing that fool. Anyways it was one thing that made me hard and mean to women for a long time after that.
Funniest part of the story was that she actually returned after a year, then she was cooling off from a break up with her main boyfriend. She offered me everything, even got naked infront of me around 1 am, hoping to seduce me. I just threw her out of my house. She still calls till date, telling me what a fool she was and how she lost the most wonderful guy that could have made her happy. I alway just roll my eyes.

Be that as it may, we used to sleep not only with one eye open but with two eyes open which is now a thing of the past since the Boko Haram has been effectively degraded by the superior firepower of the Nigerian military. The Nigerian military has been able to effectively combat the insurgency in the northeast.
I had to digress in this piece because I often read on the pages of Facebook what Kanu's Facebook soldiers always say that the Nigerian military does not have the capability to confront Nnamdi Kanu's soldiers in the event of a full-blown war with Nigeria.
Since they are of that view, that is the surest way to quickly realise Biafra. I will advise Nnamdi Kanu to capitalise on the purported weakness of the Nigerian military and declare the Republic of Biafra and use the soldiers he is training in the 'USA and Israel' to overrun Nigeria.

There is no one single Nigerian leader he has not insulted and under normal condition, can he insult any of his mates or even a child and expect the child to swallow the insult? Certainly not. We want to hear more from him before he is finally crushed once and for all. It is better for him to remain in the south-east where he is presently an overlord because leaving that region for any other part of Nigeria will be too risky for him because of the insults he has heaped on every region. We will do this when all is set for the final battle to destroy all forces of evil which he and co-travelers represent. Our radar is on his sponsors who we know one by one and we want to identify more of them.

What good will come out of this meeting? Its not like they haven't met before but this show of being together is probably important now that they see the masses slowly flocking behind that Ipob charlatan, some people's supreme commander. The funny thing there is this, igbos should ask themselves if its better to remain under the present situation that is heavily northern based or if they should flock behind Ipob and struggle to achieve or realize a better arrangement or if secession is best for them. I keep telling people that Nigeria is not a sane country. In a sane country a call for referendum from the people governed is respected by all. Look at what is happening in Spain and Catalan? Has anyone killed anyone over a referendum but in Nigeria, threats of death and war has been the norm since ipob called for same. The world is watching, we are watching. People should know that ipob now has a very large followership but that is just less than 30 percent of the igbo population. What will happen when they all unite under a common banner? There are still many igbos that are indifferent to ipob but still want a change of the present structure. Time will tell but no brother will see his brother being killed and fold his hands.

Not necessary, u can't expect someone who is catholic all his life to suddenly convert. Anyway, my dad was a Knight, a real worker of the church and builder of the church in Lagos and the east. Still they delayed burying him till we his children pay off outstanding dues and imagine this, promises he made to the parish in the east. Is that not madness, we almost freaked out. I came from a staunch Catholic family, my dad is a knight, he has held many positions in various catholic association, right now he is down with partial stroke for the past nine years now.

In 2014, I got married to my Anglican husband with the full support from my parents,but my daddy's only sister, who lives in the village,was strongly against it,she fought our kinsmen when they secretly anchored our first for the fear of being reported to the church, threatening to report to the parish priest, saying that Catholics are not allowed to marry non Catholics in our village,she went ahead and reported l and my parents to the church.

Due to my dads condition, they couldn't go, so i went alone but was shocked at what the priest told me, he made me choose between the two churches, making it clear that if i wed in Anglican, that I have chosen darkness over light.

To cut the long story short, I successfully got married but my aunt made her own family and our kindred not to attend my traditional marriage, it was rather attended by the non Catholics, and also the church made my parents not to attend my white wedding, that if they attend, that they will not bury them when they die. But now, even without attending my white wedding, the church still insists that they will not bury my parents if they die since they allowed me to marry an Anglican, except if they openly apologize to the whole church.

My question is apologize for what? Please am not trying to paint catholic black, I was a devoted catholic even till now, but this?? pls NL, I need the address to the head of catholic church in Nigeria,I need answer to this please question

Pls careful how u portray this issue. When u say the church, it has nothing to do with the church itself cos am sure u mean the parish Priest and probably parish council and not the catholic church itself. This ur situations sounds very familiar with Catholic Priests in the southeast and most esp Nigerian Priest.
Please note that what ever they intend to achieve is not in the catholic doctrines or dogma, its just their way of trying to teach you people a lesson. I am catholic but completely dislike pompous priests, I can't stand them. Another thing u should remember is that they deal with lots of people that tend to worship them, people that take their word as law so it tends to put em out of touch with reality. Believe me I know, I have many ordained in my family and grew up with many of them. Our problem in Nigeria is that we don't know our right. From ur oratory its obvious that u are very depressed about it so push the stress back their way. Pen a letter with the full information to the Papacy and copy ur Bishop and the parish you attend and follow the latter up with rejoiners. If that doesn't reset their heads, nothing will

i tried such some years ago. but i dont want.to.discourage u. pray to.God first. get the form.at ilorin or zaria but i advise u go.for ilorin. pass their test but i know u ll pass in case of ilorin. get the admissio. letter and write to some of the airlines in nigeria. u have to visit the airlines yourself. then try your state govt.
