Handsome777: Why You Should Be Careful When Dating Babes From Broken Homes
Be extremely careful when dealing with a woman who grew up in a family where the father walked out at a tender age.
At an early age, the father, the dominant male figure in the house, is symbolic of his gender.
Abandonment creates issues of guilt in the child, and does a number on the girl's ability to trust men and her unconscious opinion of men on the whole.
If the mother shields the girl from the full impact of the blow by not being bitter and by being careful not to tarnish the father image, or if the girl simply gets over it, then so be it. However, if the mother became bitter, then that bitterness tends to pass on to the daughter.
The daughter, in turn, later goes on to test men rigorously, trying to make them jump through burning hoops before she lets down her guard, because at a young age, her trust in men was shaken.
However, she is not necessarily attracted to the men who put up with her bullshit and stick to her even though she blows hot one minute, and cold air he next. Women who have this problem have serious baggage, and you have to decide if she is worth it.
If you decide that she is, you have to walk a tightrope. Your behavior should subtly convey that you will not hurt her, but do not jump through her hoops. Never be more than 5 minutes late for a date, and if you say you will call at a certain time, call at exactly that time. But if she is late do not wait for her, and when she is acting coldly, do not tolerate her mood swings.
In other words, you have to still be a challenge, but be trustworthy. It is a delicate balance, and few can master it. Gentlemen, this is from personal experience with such women. When you are talking to a girl and she tells you that her father walked out when she was little, proceed with extreme caution.

Or when she shot down the washmaschine by pressing all the buttons together thereby activating childlock system. It took me days to get it back up and working. Had to call customer care to put me through how to unlock it. Since then we have a make shift cover on the buttons but she still trys to pill it out to get her hands on the buttons. |

akpamuomenka: Just imagine bringing out a pair of shoes to wear and later you couldn't see one leg not knowing that the little commander in the house has taken it to the kitchen. I bought a toy phone for him and he threw it away b'cos it doesn't respond each time he says hello.. Hahaha. Hahahaha that's one is good. The epic one for us is when Mama the baby of the house took wifey's fone and dropped it in the watching machine and put it on (how she learnt what button to press still baffles me) cos wifey mistakenly poured baby food on it. We looked for the fone tire till she used my fone to call hers. "The number u are calling is not available". We saw the fone after the wash was done. Need I say more. |

Travel › Re: My Experience At Inagbe Grand Resorts & Leisure Lagos (pictures Included) by drnoel: 4:21pm On Aug 02, 2017 |
Wakaholic: I had an amazing experience with the happiest people on earth when we escaped from the hustle and bustle of the City of Lagos, to the charming Inagbe Grand Resorts & Leisure set on the serene banks of the magnificent Lagos Lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean.
This beautiful resort is a hidden paradise located on Inagbe Island, which is about 15mins boat ride from Victoria Island. We set out from the Regatta Jetty on Queens Drive (now Oyinkan Abayomi Drive) in Ikoyi area of Lagos on a charter boat and had a memorable experience exploring this stunning resort which captures the essence of nature, culture and tradition.
Pros
Customer service here is top-notch. On a scale of 1 to 10, they rate an easy 9. From the refined and warm welcome we received from the staff when we arrived at the VIP Jetty, to their cheerful attitude and willingness to assist, as well as timely response to issues.Worthy of commendation is the amazing Yinka who assisted us throughout our stay. She was pleasant and attended to our needs which included answering every question we had and taking numerous pictures of us at every angle we thought necessary…(Lol) She also checked on us first thing in the morning to inquire where we would prefer to have breakfast. The staff here are pleasant, courteous and cheerful. The resort is beautiful and peaceful. The view of the lagoon from the ‘floating bar’ and watching the sun set is a fascinating experience every visitor should have. The food was great. We had a buffet specially arranged for us at the ‘floating bar’ and we got complimentary coconut drinks. Now, that was something… We also had complimentary breakfast in the morning and that was great too.
Cons
The rooms require attention to details and proper maintenance. We checked into a two bedroom chalet that had a terrible smell. We returned to our apartment about 10pm and discovered that the tap wasn’t running. The intercom wasn’t working so we had to walk all the way to the reception to get help. Eventually we were upgraded to the six bedroom apartment shortly before midnight. I slept like a baby; my room had the ocean view so I woke up to the calmness and peace of the environment. Wifi was free but very poor. More pictures can be found on my travel blog. Where is the hot nairalander? |

Stegomiah: One thing we all know is that money is a turn on for many ladies Just like what lies underneath a woman is a powerful manipulative tool against men
Both works exclusively together..... More like a mutual relationship
So, it's a chess game.... We have the players.... The smart guys that know the right buttons to press even with little or no spending and more mugu guys that will keep spending and not get anything
It's a relationship that has favored the female genders than their male counterparts
Back to the post..... The op showed his hand.... The gal wasn't interested in chatting with you.... Then he started talking bout his ride.... The babe thinks...not bad..... Lemme see if he's another potential maga/mugu She even asked to invite her friend Since the op did not finish the story..... I can't say for certain how it went down.... But to me looks like the gal is the smart one... He even bragged about being in a mart.... Promised to buy her stuffs and take her out....
So, he just can't show at the gals place empty handed... He has already fallen into the trap Except he's a master player..... I see him as the idiot here
Well, it's a normal daily scenario.... For every relationship or potential relationships.... Someone must be the one to lose and the other profiting or it could be mutual U think? Bros not really. Sometimes u need to dangle sugar to get the ants out of their hole. Its not always about how a story begins but how it ends. |

Henryyy: This got me thinking. Igbos here are in the habit of boasting about their women being the most beautiful in Nigeria bla bla bla.I don't get it.They even call women from other tribes ugly You hear them saying things like: "When Biafra is achieved Nigeria will lack beautiful women". Is it that they haven't visited other regions or what? Because to me as a well travelled dude, Igbo women are not as beautiful as nairalanders want people to believe. Am not saying they are ugly but I can name 5 tribes off the top of my head with way more beautiful women than the igbos. My question is why do you all boast when the prettier ones lay low? I will be posting some pix of women from various tribes just to show beauty of different tribes. The only Igbo pix I will post are those that have been uploaded on NL by Igbos themselves. Dont want no accusation that I picked 'bad pics to discredit igbos' or shii like that. That's stereotyping, its not healthy |

He is ewu-nama, Do not ever compare him to Rochas. Rochas is not the best but one Rochas is better than 100 FFKs. Well I see ur point. But in the madness of FFKs statement, did u not read meaning there? Same reason i don't rule anyone's statement out as silly. To.compare Rochas to Peter Obi is an insult or Fashola. Doesn't know Oyo is the largest producer of Tobacco.
Doesn't know Ogun is the largest producer of limestone.
Yeahhhh..... I have to hold your hands showing you these are SW states.
Fookofff My son, the thing we say about children is that they are quick to insult and attack where they don't have proof especially when they can't back their claims. I repeat, show us evidence with data that ur earlier claims and those u added now are true or forever hold ur peace. I suggest u respect urself and try to be an adult cos if u refuse, I will then be forced to treat u like the child u are. Yes, those crops u mentioned are produced in the southwest but not predominantly. Don't make it sound like the collective export of a country is solely from just one region. One only has to do a little digging to see u lied. Take cocoa for example wiki is ur friends en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cocoa_production_in_Nigeria If u dont like wiki just like I dislike it then there are many other sources. Business › Re: My Giving Habit Affects My Friendship by drnoel: 10:04am On Jul 27, 2017 |
Yoshy: Abeg! Make u na help me with beta advise o
I'm this kind of person that likes to be the one to pay for every drink or for all the plates when I go out with friends. I don't do it because I seek glory, but I simply feel the nudge, like I'm supposed to pay for this, plus I don't like taking advantage of people or someone taking care of my stuff.
This applies to friends asking me to borrow them money too. I simply cannot say no to them. And this have caused me some very important relationships (I suppose), as immediately I start asking for what they borrowed, They begin to see me as the enemy.
Please how do you say NO to lending money to someone without feeling bad? Its all a mindset. Nothings stops u from being nice if u feel u have to but pipe it down, keep it moderate. I have had someone rebuff me saying "I like spending on them cos I want to show I have too much". I pinched myself there and then and made a habit of being the last to pay and not asking to pay for the rest. Some people don't like it, others regard it as outright arrogance and some feel u want to rob it on their face. Whichever the case is, remember its ur problem how u portray urself and u don't need fake friends. |

IgboSubmarine: You also noticed the fake data
Allow them to wallow in false data until Nigeria collapses and reality hits them in their faces. Any blind person could have seen the data was not predominantly for just the southwest but the whole south with portions of the north central too, I mean u didn't have to be a scientist to see it. We are here to learn so am interested in the topic too. I know the west has lots of cash crops like Cashew, I thought he would tow that line instead of giving us fake data. I dont think they are exporting in commercial quantity yet though. |
