Health / Corona Virus: 22 Reasons You Need To Stay Safe by DrP2000(m): 8:51pm On Mar 27, 2020
22 REASONS YOU SHOULD STAY HOME, WASH HANDS, USE FACEMASKS AND HAND SANITIZERS REGUALRLY

1. COVID-19 has no known cure.

2. It is rapidly spreading even to your neighbourhood.

3. Its no respecter of age, tribe, religion, status, class, gender nor qualifications

4. You won't know who is infected till the symptoms manifest or a test is done (so that your friend, customer, business or prayer partner may be a carrier without knowing)

5.Our population is about 200million, compare it to the number of doctors available to treat these Nigerians

6.The health workers are humans like you, have families and loved ones waiting for them (they want to be safe too)

7.COVID-19 has demystified developed nations, ravaged and caused havocs in civilised countries, think of what it will do to developing and underdeveloped nations

8.Many has been killed by this disease, I know you wont like to be one of them, am also aware that your loved ones need you alive and healthy, THINK TWICE

9.The government is handicapped at the moment

10.Many hospitals have limited WHO standard requirements as well as equipments to handle such condition

11.Cost of healthcare in Nigeria is high couple with limited availability of facilities.

12. The virus doesn't move, infected people transmit it to others, if we all can do the needful, we can stop the spread.

IF YOU EVENTUALLY GET INFECTED BECAUSE OF YOUR CARELESSNESS

13. People will stigmatize you and your family (which is wrong but it will happen)

14.You may unknowingly infect your loved ones ( how will they feel to know you caused their problem?)

15.You will be forced to either stay at home isolated or restricted in a special ward in the hospital

16.Your freedom will be taken from you because anyone around you is at risk.

17. Your loved ones may be separated from you so as to prevent you endangering their lives.

18.Your recovery is at the mercy of God, your immune system, the efforts of the health workers and limited facilities available to them

19.Depending on your condition, if moderate or severely ill, you will be receiving injections and drip(intravenous fluid) as well as Oxygen everyday if need be (I know you won't like that)

20.When recovered there is risk of reinfection (not proven) so your problem may not have been completely solved

21.Money will be useless to you, food will be tasteless, life will be worthless to you

22.God forbid, if you happen to be a victim, LIFE GOES ON, life continues as usual, colleagues will discuss about you for few days, friends will only lament for few weeks, families will cry for months but it won't change anything.

Though there are million and one reasons why I think you should

1.Stay at home
2.Use facemasks and use it properly
3. Wash your hand always
4. Use good hand sanitizers (that has >60%alcohol in it)
5.Observe social distancing(1.5 - 2meters away)

but I choose to enumerate these few for you and me to know that health is wealth. Your life is not just precious to you alone but also to
your loved ones, your family, friends and neighbours.

Many have been infected, more may also be infected, its better not to be among them.

I can only advise you but the decision to adhere is yours,
I may not be able to stop you from going out, neither will i be able to force you to STAY SAFE but I will always do my job which is to care for you and educate you if need be.

THINK TWICE
STAY SAFE
STAY HOME

I may not have the best advise for but if am in your shoes,I will plead with Mum to accept the transfer and move on to the new place. God works in a mysterious ways, don't worry about the condition of the school etc , let her resume at the new place.

Then for you, this has shown you that you need to work harder in life so that no one arround you will experience similar situation again.

For everything that happens there is a reason and God allowed it. No matter how far the place is, let your Mum adjust and possibly relocate, God definitely has a better plan for her

Its very shameful, devastating

An innocent poor girl is called all sorts of name because she choose to date and love. For Christ sake she is beautiful, so guys will always chyke her , that doesn't mean she is going out with them too. Its too bad, you are treating this girl badly. You are emotionally traumatising the poor girl and this is affecting her health condition.

Pls stop hurting the poor girl, she can commit suicide because of you. Girls like this are fragile and requires up to most care and love

You about to loose an Angel, what that babe need is support, caring and love ,then you will get all you wish in a woman from her.

Pls for the sake of her health condition, if you don't wish to have something serious or future with her kindly let her be now, because if you end up traumatising her further, it will cause more damage to her brain and health.

Assume this is your sister and someone is treating her this way

I was so shocked at this whole Blessing Okoro Saga. In fact I'm still in shock. How can a lady lie this much. I'm hearing of her for the first time yesterday sef. I had to sneak into her Instagram omo this babe was still posting pictures o after being caught telling her followers that the house is hers. At a point she made another video again saying the Onye eze house and her own house looks much alike and that it's just a misunderstanding. She even showed another video saying see my own fence and gate see his own fence and gate.
What is wrong with these ladies of today? I mean what is wrong with these generations of today? Who cursed us? Who the hell did this to us? Who are the idiots following such fake low life morons online? She's called a relationship expert, what does that thing have to offer to the youths in terms of relationship just everything.

Why is the real life not appreciated anymore? I've seen ladies look down on me because of my hustle. No one wants to mingle with a young seller and Okrika hustler. Like I really care, No I don't. We shouldn't be in any race or competition with anyone. Wait sef, the men have their own blame in this too. As long as the men gives attention to all these so called slay queens, such fake low life attitudes will not stop. There will be massive increase in oloshoism and this will also increase the rate of fraud among the men because they also will want to please these so called slay queen. Guys now even compete among themselves who is with the biggest babe while the babe now compete among themselves who is with the biggest boy. Ema Jo tan ra yi. Fake life. Like attracts like. They will never appreciate good girls with legit hustling. That's why their marriages don't last because it's all about material things as in worldly possession. The type of blessing disgust me. I had headache trying to understand her actions yesterday. I can bet that that babe was never married as she claimed in her post. 8 years ago, she was 22 according to her age. I cannot do calculation for an idiot this early morning jare. Guys stop giving slay queens attention. When no one cares , all these madness will be reduced or stop.
As for the ladies with legit hustle like me, may God crown our effort with success in Jesus name. The place where our parents stop, we will supercede in Jesus name. That small business you are looking at now, keep doing it will all diligent and watch God establish it into a mighty one. Don't let anyone discourage you. Don't measure your life with that of another...

With all these, I am being led to support 3 young single mom. Are you a single mom struggling to survive daily, chat me up. Knowledge is the key to excelling in life. Even God defeated Satan with Knowledge.

Let me prepare for today's business jare.

Very inspiring

Psoul:

Doc. character is not always consistent. U knew him den does not guarantee consistency of that character. When u have some authorities under ur dispositions, you can disobey some policies. U can take a female patient in without calling in any of the female nurses especially when ur crime is premeditated.

Mistake some women do is not shouting and raising alarm as soon as u noticed such an act. If u know u will eventually tell ur husband about that, start by raising alarm instantly. It will be more difficult for the perpetrator to deny that time his conscience is still fresh on that crime.

Some randy guys will have it at the back of their mind even when writing JAMB that, "meeehn....these fine girls go hear am when I finally become a doctor." With that as one of theirs to becoming a medical doctors, they seize every opportunity to exploit.

Everything has limitations, you need to practice as a doctor to understand what we pass through. A patient going for a surgery such as one that involve womb surgery as she said has 50-50 percent chances of dying or surviving from the surgery by any slight mistake.

So what is more important to you as a doctor,is it to pray for safe surgery or to sleep with her? Knowing fully well if she dies from the surgery, the stigma will be very bad, that you are a killer etc. It's not every surgery you do that you are 100% sure of being successful, that's why we request for patient or relative to sign A CONSENT before the surgery.

Medical practice is not only physically or medical it's also spiritual. There are things you don't do bearing in in mind the consequences
1. He will loose his licence to practice
2. He will go to jail
3. Even if he is freed, people will start avoiding him henceforth
4. Some ailments you treat are divine favour while some are based on your years of experience and some based on medical researches

If you are a man, how do you feel after sex, exhausted or energised? Surgery is energy demanding on its own, and there is no room for mistakes though it still occur because we are humans.
When you have sex before an elective surgery believe you me it may not (100%) be successful talk more of when you raped the patient. A patient need to be in good and complete physical and emotional state of mind before going in for surgery except if its emergency. Someone you raped can't be in a stable condition and the operation you are going to do involvea the same system (Reproductive and Genitourinary system)

Having said this, their is never a never in medicine and there is nothing impossible in life.
God knows the truth and let the truth reveal itself

Crime / Re: How Rapist Doctor Drugged Me, Touched My Thighs And Breast - Nigerian Lady by DrP2000(m): 1:47pm On Mar 22, 2019
It's very shameful how we Nigerians rush to judge people on social media without fair hearing.

I worked in the North as a doctor and know how sexually porous it is despite the sharia law.

I will not defend the Doctor because if they lied against him, the truth must come out but I will also not dispute the woman because anything can happen.

So many doctors and hospital workers sleep with the patients or even the patients relative on mutual and coded arrangement but not in the hospital, it's common in the north. They take advantage of the people

Likewise so many innocent Doctors are framed up and wrongly accused by patients and their relatives for selfish gain. So for now, let's allow the investigation to go on. I have had a case a colleague was framed up that he raped a male child which was a lie, he didn't even touch the boy, he was arrested, but court discharged him. Even fellow Drs corroborated to frame him up because of personal grieviances and grudges.

Just look at this case, how can someone rape you and still go ahead to do operation on you, it's not possible, DID HE RAPE YOU BEFORE or AFTER THE SURGERY. Who assisted him in the surgery(he can't do the surgery alone), who anaesthesized her, all these has protocols, somebody must have witnessed or suspected something.

It's simple, she and her family may he annoyed that the man tied her womb, so to seek for sympathy and justice she will claim she was raped.
Rape case is not easy case, they will examine her private parts to see evidence of the rape such as muscle tear, even remnant of the man Sperm in her vagina, the man pubic hair, infection etc. The rape in this case may be a blackmail to make the case look heavy or weighty.

Now coming to the surgery, any patient going for an operation must sign a document called CONSENT (it's legal documents like undertaking permitting the Dr to do anything possible in the course of the surgery if need be so as to save the patient life) if she signed that document, she has no case, because if a doctor that wants to do a minor surgery,, he may encounter serious bleeding and to save the patient life, he will close the source of the bleeding which may be the womb or Fallopian tube,, I have witnessed that severally, a tube was closed during CS because she developed bleeding which if not done will kill her later, so you don't blame the Dr for that.

Am not supporting any party in this case but let the court or medical tribunal decide, I have seen a colleague frame another colleague up because of jealousy, because his hospital controls more traffic of patient. Some of you can attest to that, you see a Dr telling you to avoid another hospital that they are killers or that they don't know what they are doing. So let's not judge yet,

THE TRUTH MUST PREVAIL, if he raped her, let him bear the consequences, period but if he didn't, let him sue them for character assassination.

Why will they put up his picture if its not blackmail when the case has not been judged.Theu hurriedly went to media knowing fully well that the man may be acquitted (am not sure yet) Abeg leave this people.

Let's hear the doctors side of the story as well as the workers in the hospital.

Are you ok? I've met Mark Ibeto so I know who I'm talking about. Who owns Ibeto cement?

The known and owner of IBETO group is CHIEF CLETUS IBETO, he is from Nnewi, ANAMBRA state, he is also the owner of 8BETO CEMENT, just that he is the quite type, forget about this article, it's just to tarnish his image, he is the mentor to IFEANYI UBA(Capital oil) and he supported Ifeanyi Uba in YPP because the Governor of ANAMBRA refused to honor the agreement they had in the last gubernatorial elections, which made ifeanyi Uba to decamp from APGA to ypp and win the Senate slot.

Now the YPP and PDP also wants win the house of assembly slots but APGA people are not happy, that's why they are fighting back.

The truth is the incumbent governor messed the APGA party up, he drove away all the major stakeholders and election winners in the party, now they are reaping the consequences, worst of it is when he openly declared his support for BUHARI against Peter Obi who made him governor on a platter of gold.

Let's wait and see how Saturday will be

Brilliant article must read

Hope you know about a term named Cobra Effect?

If not, it’s time that you learn about it.

The Cobra Effect is a term in economics. It refers to a situation when an attempted solution to a problem makes the problem worse.

This name was coined based on an incident in old colonial India.

By some reasons, there were too many venomous cobra snakes in Delhi. People were dying due to snake-bites and it became scary for almost everyone to step out of their houses.

The government of the day had to get into action to stop this menace and it offered a silver coin for every dead cobra. The results were great, a large number of snakes were killed for the reward.

Eventually, however, it led to some serious unwanted consequences. After a short-term dip in cobra population, it started going up.

This was because few people began to breed cobras for the income. When the news reached the government, the reward program was scrapped, causing the cobra breeders to set the now-worthless snakes free. As a result, the cobra population further increased. The solution for the problem made the situation even worse.

The unintended consequence for a well-intention-ed idea led to making the problem worst.

Trying a new solution?

or

Planning to tackle an existing problem with a new idea?

Well, it’s time to pause and think about how people would respond to the new idea that may sound great on paper!

Specially the solutions that try to affect how people behave.
There’s always a certain group of people who have a tendency to game the system -intentionally or otherwise.

They have a tendency to take short-term advantage of any situation though that may lead to harm to them & society-at-large only in the long run.

Every solution has consequences and those consequences may lead to certain situations where rather than solving a current problem, you may end up with more complex problems.

Few more examples:
A similar type of incident like increasing cobra-population occurred in Vietnam. The rulers realized that there were too many rats in Hanoi and spread of plague was imminent They created a reward program that paid a prize for each rat killed. To obtain the bounty, people would provide the severed rat tail. After initial success, the officials, however, started noticing rats with no tails. The rat catchers would capture rats, cut off their tails, and then release them back into the sewers so that they could breed and produce more rats, thereby increasing the rat catchers' profits.

As they say the road to hell is paved with good intentions, the similar mistakes are happening around us everyday when the decision -makers fail to take a 360 degree view of all the possible outcomes of an action before implementation.

Nearly 2 years ago, city of Philadelphia in USA passed a "soda tax" -- a US $1 tax on a typical 2-liter bottle of soft-drink- as a "sin tax" in the national war on obesity. But the natives didn’t cut calories as a result of the tax on sweetened drinks, nor there was a shift towards any healthier option. Instead, most of them just drove outside the city to buy the same colas , from stores where they didn’t have to pay the tax. But the poorest paid more as they could not find it affordable to drive out of the city to buy their drinks. In the end , city suffered loss of revenue due to lower sales whereas the lower section society paid more .

The unintended consequence for a well-intentioned idea led to making the problem worst.

Even big & brilliant companies do the same mistake!

It is not that mistakes happen only with the government run programs, there're n numbers of examples in great private companies too where the best & brilliant people lose sight of certain negative outcomes due to the initial magic of seemingly great looking ideas .

The Nano Car - a small car that could never it make it big !

The car once touted as the world’s cheapest, Tata Nano, seems to be running into a dead end as sales and production is down to a trickle. The poor demand has resulted in Tata Motors shutting down the plant in last month.

A car considered as a brilliant product, launched in a segment having a billion dollar opportunity. Hope ran high , the company expected all present and potential two-wheeler owners would shift to Nano.

But they forgot to dwell deeper – a car marketed as ‘the cheapest car’ , created huge initial interest. But it never took off.

Later on, Ratan Tata admitted that the reason for failure of this idea was none other than the term which became synonymous with Nano – “The cheapest car”.

Buying a car in India is associated with social status and prestige; if a person owns a car, he is assumed to be successful and settled. But the word ‘cheap’ in its marketing campaigns spoiled everything.

The company also failed to dwell upon the competition from used-cars. Used cars (2nd hand cars) from other companies , which were much better in quality, space and mileage were available to the same customer -segment at the same or lesser price than Nano .

An intelligent team of people failed to think about the above likely outcomes because it became temporarily blind by the brilliance of such a great idea, by the idea of tapping a billion-dollar opportunity.

Apple turning sour!

In 2017 Apple admitted that it was slowing down the speed of old iPhones as the batteries of those old phones were degrading with the passage of time.To make up on loss of brand image and to saistfy its erstwhile customers, it offered to cut its US $79 battery replacement feed down to US $29 as a way of apologizing.

This lower fee led to more people in 2018 ended up swapping their batteries — instead of upgrading to the latest iPhone models thus affecting new iPhone sales. As iPhone batteries became cheaper and easier to replace, fewer people are shelling out for new iPhones that can now cost up to US $1,449.

On January 2nd this year, Apple revealed that it was expecting a $9 billion loss in revenue due to weak iPhone demand that’s partly caused by more people replacing their batteries, according to a letter issued by CEO Tim Cook addressed to investors.

Slowing down of iPhones sales can be attributed to many external reasons too (better Chines phones, better Apps on Android phones etc ), but strategy of battery-replacement was an internal idea. It would have been handled better if people at top would have thought more about it , if they would have filtered this program from Cobra effect

What's in it for we?
Next time if you or your team has some brilliant idea , get your brilliant guys together in a room and think about the Cobra- effects before implementing that idea.

We can always fine-tune the idea to minimize the negative implications by spending few extra hours/days before rushing to announce it.

think about the Cobra-effects first.

Bear in mind that not much was at stake in the case of osun , the attitude of the national body of PDP after the postponement of the few local govt, showed there were not keen on winning osun, in short they left Adeleke and Davido at the nick of time, when they needed them most. Unlike APC that sent an entourage with even the party chairman to convince Omisore.

OPEN LETTER TO THE INEC CHAIRMAN (PROF. MAHMOOD YAKUBU)
Goodday Prof,
Complements of the Season.

A time always come in life when one's creditbility and reputation are called to question, when the integrity and values of a man are put to test, when one finds himself or herself between light and darkness, between the devil and the deep blue sea. Its always a very crucial, critical, vital and defining moment but dicey, dangerous and very challenging situation.

Unfortunately yours has come, not even at the local or state level but at the national and global level, presently the world not just Nigerians are watching you, waiting to know if you trully have the tenacity and qualities, the reputation and credibility, the doggedness and willpower to do the right thing. A BIG LITMUS TEST FOR HISTORY.

Sincerely its not a funny situation but many has been there and proved their worth, likes of Prof Humphery Nwosu, Prof Attahiru Jega who has written their names on the marbles for standing by the truth and nothing but the truth. And all they did was simply to conduct a free, fair and transparent election without fear or favours, irrespective of the candidates or parties involves, irrespective of the status and position of the candidates involved.

You have been called names, blasted by many, forsaken by all, even those you laboured to protect have sacrificed you on the alter of politics because of their selfish interest. They may blackmail you, intimidate and stampede you, even "Onnoghenised" and "Dino melayized" you but fear not for TRUTH WILL ALWAYS PREVAIL.

Today, your name is now a household name, over 90% of 180million nigerians knows your name but have not physical set their eyes on you even for once, your precious name rings a bell not just in their ears but also in their heart but what impresion do they have about you? Your action from today till 23rd february determines whether it will be a positive or negative impression.

God has given you the opportunity to affect positively the lives of over 180million nigerians, you may not have such opportunity again till eternity, please Sir don't waste it for a selfish few, that has nothing good to offer the country.

History is about to repeat itself and those who refuse to learn from the past tends to turn the hands of the clock backwards, those who intend to acquire power by at all cost will always twist and manupulate the odds against the history. As a historian you are, which part of the history do you wish to belong Sir?

Many Nigerians lost time, money and other resources because of your postponement, (which shows the magnanity of power bestowed on you at this defining moment), though Nigerians can forgive you for that but history and posterity will judge you, if you fail to conduct a free, fair and transparent election, if your actions end up sabotaging the future of our great nation.

Nigerians can forgive you for what transpired in the last Osun and Ekiti gubernatorial elections which many said was a nightmare in a broad daylight but history will never forgive you if you fail them again, if you join hands to truncate our precious hardfought democracy, if you scarifice the nation whether at will or under diuress.

Thanks for your effort so far in discharge of your patriotic duty.

Thank you once more as you strive to distinguish yourself among equals, as you carve a niche for our great nation.

Politics / 2019 Election: Open Letter To Inec Chairman by DrP2000(m): 6:40am On Feb 18, 2019

They may blackmail you, intimidate and stampede you, even onnoghenised and Dino melayized you but fear not for TRUTH WILL ALWAYS PREVAIL.

Today, your name is now a household name, over 90% of 180million nigerians knows your name but have not physical set their eyes on you even for once, your precious name rings a bell not just in their ears but also in their heart but what impresion do they have about you? Hmmm
I attended to this woman here in Saudi (Dariyah General hospital) She was forced to see me being the only Nigeria that can speak hausa(though we are only 2nigerian doctors here) She was not even aware she was pregnant, was claiming Malaria, but from her history and tests, it was obvious she was pregnant.

Her Saudi Sponsors begged her not to travel back to Nigeria, that they will catter for the baby just to convince her to stay. She refused, they went as far as renting a separate house for her but she insisted she wants to go back to Nigeria, that the husband will deny the pregnancy if she doesnt go now and that they are separated.

The poor innocent baby has been murdered just like. A child that has a better future here.

Romance / Re: How Do I Tell My Fiancee That I Am Tired Of Incessant Sex? by DrP2000(m): 12:07pm On Jan 13, 2019
alizma:

first I want you to know that the way you handle or communicate your feelings on this sexual thing can make or Mar your relationship. having said that, I will advise you don't say it directly the way it is. start by taking her out once in a while when ordinarily you are supposed to meet at home. find out something she will like doing outside the room and make it fun for both of you doing it together. unfortunately you didn't state her job status, if she is not working yet, help her to secure one. if you truly love her and don't want to loose her, constantly assure her of your love as you are putting those measures in place to reduce the daily sex activities, reason being that your woman may have been made to believe that sex and food are the key to a man's heart and out of fear not to let another woman occupied her Space, she chose to feed you with sex enough to distract you from other ladies.
finally, I want you to know it at the back of your mind that the same lady who feed you with sex every day may put her life in line to resist another man from penetrating her, therefore appreciate her generosity towards you and handle her feelings with care

Amazing and matured reasoning,
Thanks for such wonderful advice

To me O

A guy that can press your ass like that and post it in social media, may not truly value or love you, he just want to show off to the world that he has chopped you wella.
When you trully love someone, as a man you protect and preserve that persons intergrity, not portraying her to the world as a sex object The guy just worked on her emotions, faked love to her , enjoy finish, dump her.
From her post, she truly love the guy. Too bad, she fell in love to the wrong guy.

For her
She has to pick up herself and move on, LIFE GOES ON
God works in a musterious way and can give her a better man. Dont be surprise one day, they guy will long or wish to have her again but then it may be too late by then

Crime / Re: Corpses At Pastor Blessed Kelechukwu's House In Abia: Updates (Photos) by DrP2000(m): 4:28pm On Oct 21, 2018
ASSUMPTIONS PLS:

Most likely someone is not happy about his relationship with the woman. If the woman's husband is based abroad and the woman owns an academy, now a divorcee after 3 children with one man, you dont need a prophet to tell you who is not happy with the Pastor.

He may be dating the woman because of her wealth, and a lonely woman needs affection from someone close not from afar. This may have led to the woman gingering for divorce from his oversea once in a blue moon husband, which wont augur well especially if its the man that financially built the academy. The second pastor may just be a victim, may be because he was in the house with them when the assasins came, so to eliminate any traces/witness, he was also killed.

Young men avoid married women even divorcee, especially Igbo women because their husbands dont find it funny to hear that you are close to their wife talk more of dating.
