Health / Corona Virus: 22 Reasons You Need To Stay Safe by DrP2000(m): 8:51pm On Mar 27, 2020 |
22 REASONS YOU SHOULD STAY HOME, WASH HANDS, USE FACEMASKS AND HAND SANITIZERS REGUALRLY 1. COVID-19 has no known cure. 2. It is rapidly spreading even to your neighbourhood. 3. Its no respecter of age, tribe, religion, status, class, gender nor qualifications 4. You won't know who is infected till the symptoms manifest or a test is done (so that your friend, customer, business or prayer partner may be a carrier without knowing) 5.Our population is about 200million, compare it to the number of doctors available to treat these Nigerians 6.The health workers are humans like you, have families and loved ones waiting for them (they want to be safe too) 7.COVID-19 has demystified developed nations, ravaged and caused havocs in civilised countries, think of what it will do to developing and underdeveloped nations 8.Many has been killed by this disease, I know you wont like to be one of them, am also aware that your loved ones need you alive and healthy, THINK TWICE 9.The government is handicapped at the moment 10.Many hospitals have limited WHO standard requirements as well as equipments to handle such condition 11.Cost of healthcare in Nigeria is high couple with limited availability of facilities. 12. The virus doesn't move, infected people transmit it to others, if we all can do the needful, we can stop the spread. IF YOU EVENTUALLY GET INFECTED BECAUSE OF YOUR CARELESSNESS 13. People will stigmatize you and your family (which is wrong but it will happen) 14.You may unknowingly infect your loved ones ( how will they feel to know you caused their problem?) 15.You will be forced to either stay at home isolated or restricted in a special ward in the hospital 16.Your freedom will be taken from you because anyone around you is at risk. 17. Your loved ones may be separated from you so as to prevent you endangering their lives. 18.Your recovery is at the mercy of God, your immune system, the efforts of the health workers and limited facilities available to them 19.Depending on your condition, if moderate or severely ill, you will be receiving injections and drip(intravenous fluid) as well as Oxygen everyday if need be (I know you won't like that) 20.When recovered there is risk of reinfection (not proven) so your problem may not have been completely solved 21.Money will be useless to you, food will be tasteless, life will be worthless to you 22.God forbid, if you happen to be a victim, LIFE GOES ON, life continues as usual, colleagues will discuss about you for few days, friends will only lament for few weeks, families will cry for months but it won't change anything. Though there are million and one reasons why I think you should 1.Stay at home 2.Use facemasks and use it properly 3. Wash your hand always 4. Use good hand sanitizers (that has >60%alcohol in it) 5.Observe social distancing(1.5 - 2meters away) but I choose to enumerate these few for you and me to know that health is wealth. Your life is not just precious to you alone but also to your loved ones, your family, friends and neighbours. Many have been infected, more may also be infected, its better not to be among them. I can only advise you but the decision to adhere is yours, I may not be able to stop you from going out, neither will i be able to force you to STAY SAFE but I will always do my job which is to care for you and educate you if need be. THINK TWICE STAY SAFE STAY HOME Ezekoye Pascal Dr Passy ARE WE COMFORTABLE? Never miss a good chance to help others TOGETHER WE WILL OVERCOME THIS 1 Like |

Op I may not have the best advise for but if am in your shoes,I will plead with Mum to accept the transfer and move on to the new place. God works in a mysterious ways, don't worry about the condition of the school etc , let her resume at the new place. Then for you, this has shown you that you need to work harder in life so that no one arround you will experience similar situation again. For everything that happens there is a reason and God allowed it. No matter how far the place is, let your Mum adjust and possibly relocate, God definitely has a better plan for her 6 Likes 1 Share |

You about to loose an Angel, what that babe need is support, caring and love ,then you will get all you wish in a woman from her. Pls for the sake of her health condition, if you don't wish to have something serious or future with her kindly let her be now, because if you end up traumatising her further, it will cause more damage to her brain and health. Psoul: Everything has limitations, you need to practice as a doctor to understand what we pass through. A patient going for a surgery such as one that involve womb surgery as she said has 50-50 percent chances of dying or surviving from the surgery by any slight mistake. So what is more important to you as a doctor,is it to pray for safe surgery or to sleep with her? Knowing fully well if she dies from the surgery, the stigma will be very bad, that you are a killer etc. It's not every surgery you do that you are 100% sure of being successful, that's why we request for patient or relative to sign A CONSENT before the surgery. Medical practice is not only physically or medical it's also spiritual. There are things you don't do bearing in in mind the consequences 1. He will loose his licence to practice 2. He will go to jail 3. Even if he is freed, people will start avoiding him henceforth 4. Some ailments you treat are divine favour while some are based on your years of experience and some based on medical researches If you are a man, how do you feel after sex, exhausted or energised? Surgery is energy demanding on its own, and there is no room for mistakes though it still occur because we are humans. When you have sex before an elective surgery believe you me it may not (100%) be successful talk more of when you raped the patient. A patient need to be in good and complete physical and emotional state of mind before going in for surgery except if its emergency. Someone you raped can't be in a stable condition and the operation you are going to do involvea the same system (Reproductive and Genitourinary system) Having said this, their is never a never in medicine and there is nothing impossible in life. God knows the truth and let the truth reveal itself 1 Like |

It's very shameful how we Nigerians rush to judge people on social media without fair hearing. I worked in the North as a doctor and know how sexually porous it is despite the sharia law. I will not defend the Doctor because if they lied against him, the truth must come out but I will also not dispute the woman because anything can happen. So many doctors and hospital workers sleep with the patients or even the patients relative on mutual and coded arrangement but not in the hospital, it's common in the north. They take advantage of the people Likewise so many innocent Doctors are framed up and wrongly accused by patients and their relatives for selfish gain. So for now, let's allow the investigation to go on. I have had a case a colleague was framed up that he raped a male child which was a lie, he didn't even touch the boy, he was arrested, but court discharged him. Even fellow Drs corroborated to frame him up because of personal grieviances and grudges. Just look at this case, how can someone rape you and still go ahead to do operation on you, it's not possible, DID HE RAPE YOU BEFORE or AFTER THE SURGERY. Who assisted him in the surgery(he can't do the surgery alone), who anaesthesized her, all these has protocols, somebody must have witnessed or suspected something. It's simple, she and her family may he annoyed that the man tied her womb, so to seek for sympathy and justice she will claim she was raped. Rape case is not easy case, they will examine her private parts to see evidence of the rape such as muscle tear, even remnant of the man Sperm in her vagina, the man pubic hair, infection etc. The rape in this case may be a blackmail to make the case look heavy or weighty. Now coming to the surgery, any patient going for an operation must sign a document called CONSENT (it's legal documents like undertaking permitting the Dr to do anything possible in the course of the surgery if need be so as to save the patient life) if she signed that document, she has no case, because if a doctor that wants to do a minor surgery,, he may encounter serious bleeding and to save the patient life, he will close the source of the bleeding which may be the womb or Fallopian tube,, I have witnessed that severally, a tube was closed during CS because she developed bleeding which if not done will kill her later, so you don't blame the Dr for that. Am not supporting any party in this case but let the court or medical tribunal decide, I have seen a colleague frame another colleague up because of jealousy, because his hospital controls more traffic of patient. Some of you can attest to that, you see a Dr telling you to avoid another hospital that they are killers or that they don't know what they are doing. So let's not judge yet, THE TRUTH MUST PREVAIL, if he raped her, let him bear the consequences, period but if he didn't, let him sue them for character assassination. Why will they put up his picture if its not blackmail when the case has not been judged.Theu hurriedly went to media knowing fully well that the man may be acquitted (am not sure yet) Abeg leave this people. Let's hear the doctors side of the story as well as the workers in the hospital. |

Rekyz: The known and owner of IBETO group is CHIEF CLETUS IBETO, he is from Nnewi, ANAMBRA state, he is also the owner of 8BETO CEMENT, just that he is the quite type, forget about this article, it's just to tarnish his image, he is the mentor to IFEANYI UBA(Capital oil) and he supported Ifeanyi Uba in YPP because the Governor of ANAMBRA refused to honor the agreement they had in the last gubernatorial elections, which made ifeanyi Uba to decamp from APGA to ypp and win the Senate slot. Now the YPP and PDP also wants win the house of assembly slots but APGA people are not happy, that's why they are fighting back. The truth is the incumbent governor messed the APGA party up, he drove away all the major stakeholders and election winners in the party, now they are reaping the consequences, worst of it is when he openly declared his support for BUHARI against Peter Obi who made him governor on a platter of gold. Unlike APC that sent an entourage with even the party chairman to convince Omisore. But in this case, it's a national election and what happens in this election will determine their fate I'm 2023, so they are fighting tooth and nail to regain power at the centre |

OPEN LETTER TO THE INEC CHAIRMAN (PROF. MAHMOOD YAKUBU) Goodday Prof, Complements of the Season. A time always come in life when one's creditbility and reputation are called to question, when the integrity and values of a man are put to test, when one finds himself or herself between light and darkness, between the devil and the deep blue sea. Its always a very crucial, critical, vital and defining moment but dicey, dangerous and very challenging situation. Unfortunately yours has come, not even at the local or state level but at the national and global level, presently the world not just Nigerians are watching you, waiting to know if you trully have the tenacity and qualities, the reputation and credibility, the doggedness and willpower to do the right thing. A BIG LITMUS TEST FOR HISTORY. Sincerely its not a funny situation but many has been there and proved their worth, likes of Prof Humphery Nwosu, Prof Attahiru Jega who has written their names on the marbles for standing by the truth and nothing but the truth. And all they did was simply to conduct a free, fair and transparent election without fear or favours, irrespective of the candidates or parties involves, irrespective of the status and position of the candidates involved. You have been called names, blasted by many, forsaken by all, even those you laboured to protect have sacrificed you on the alter of politics because of their selfish interest. They may blackmail you, intimidate and stampede you, even "Onnoghenised" and "Dino melayized" you but fear not for TRUTH WILL ALWAYS PREVAIL. Today, your name is now a household name, over 90% of 180million nigerians knows your name but have not physical set their eyes on you even for once, your precious name rings a bell not just in their ears but also in their heart but what impresion do they have about you? Your action from today till 23rd february determines whether it will be a positive or negative impression. God has given you the opportunity to affect positively the lives of over 180million nigerians, you may not have such opportunity again till eternity, please Sir don't waste it for a selfish few, that has nothing good to offer the country. History is about to repeat itself and those who refuse to learn from the past tends to turn the hands of the clock backwards, those who intend to acquire power by at all cost will always twist and manupulate the odds against the history. As a historian you are, which part of the history do you wish to belong Sir? Many Nigerians lost time, money and other resources because of your postponement, (which shows the magnanity of power bestowed on you at this defining moment), though Nigerians can forgive you for that but history and posterity will judge you, if you fail to conduct a free, fair and transparent election, if your actions end up sabotaging the future of our great nation. Nigerians can forgive you for what transpired in the last Osun and Ekiti gubernatorial elections which many said was a nightmare in a broad daylight but history will never forgive you if you fail them again, if you join hands to truncate our precious hardfought democracy, if you scarifice the nation whether at will or under diuress. Thanks for your effort so far in discharge of your patriotic duty. Thank you once more as you strive to distinguish yourself among equals, as you carve a niche for our great nation. Hmmm I attended to this woman here in Saudi (Dariyah General hospital) She was forced to see me being the only Nigeria that can speak hausa(though we are only 2nigerian doctors here) She was not even aware she was pregnant, was claiming Malaria, but from her history and tests, it was obvious she was pregnant. Her Saudi Sponsors begged her not to travel back to Nigeria, that they will catter for the baby just to convince her to stay. She refused, they went as far as renting a separate house for her but she insisted she wants to go back to Nigeria, that the husband will deny the pregnancy if she doesnt go now and that they are separated. The poor innocent baby has been murdered just like. A child that has a better future here. 1 Like |

ASSUMPTIONS PLS: Most likely someone is not happy about his relationship with the woman. If the woman's husband is based abroad and the woman owns an academy, now a divorcee after 3 children with one man, you dont need a prophet to tell you who is not happy with the Pastor. He may be dating the woman because of her wealth, and a lonely woman needs affection from someone close not from afar. This may have led to the woman gingering for divorce from his oversea once in a blue moon husband, which wont augur well especially if its the man that financially built the academy. The second pastor may just be a victim, may be because he was in the house with them when the assasins came, so to eliminate any traces/witness, he was also killed. Young men avoid married women even divorcee, especially Igbo women because their husbands dont find it funny to hear that you are close to their wife talk more of dating. 10 Likes 1 Share |
