This is one of the reasons Lagos state continues to do well.

This is an economic management team that has members from other states of the federation- at least I know 2 of them so well- Ken Igbokwe, an Igbo man, was the very brilliant Country CEO of a foremost global firm called PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers) until a few years ago; and Omobola Johnson PhD from Manchester Business School, from Ondo state, was the Minister of Communication (until 2015) under Jonathan. Some other members appear to be non-Lagosians too.

In 99.9% of states in Nigeria, non-indigenes can never be appointed as cleaners to members of such a committee, let alone get appointed as a member.

I live in Lagos, and I am not an indigene, but I admire this approach by Lagos State Goverment, which started right from Tinubu's tenure. For Lagos, it is all about competence; get people from any state, so far they can contribute!

Now, be educated. No law says that an elected Governor has to recognize (or belong to the same 'faction' as) ELECTED members of his party's STATE EXCO.

This is the issue:

The real Chairman and his EXCO (which has just been validated by the Federal High Court AdoEkiti), who were duly elected by PDP members in Ekiti (from ward congresses to the state congress) were fraudulently removed by Fayose (just because they were perceived to be sponsored by Senator Buruji Kashamu, Fayose's political rival even in PDP).

The best Fayose could have done was to get the National Working Committee (NWC) of PDP to dissolve the State EXCO, and organize new ward and state congresses where his own anointed cronies could be elected.

You may take Fayose as your political god, that is your kettle of fish, but do not write lies and muddle the waters.

Do not write about issues you know nothing about, or about issues you know well about, but for which you wanted to write to please your thug-god, Fayose! I may like Fayose for his outspoken mien, but on this case, he has lost flatly; and no amount of ignorant responses from the likes of Magoo10 can erase that fact.

You don't know anything about this issue. The place the accident occurred (Lekki Phase 1 Bus Stop) is NOT A BAD ROAD! It's on the Lekki-Epe Expressway and the road is as clean and smooth as any road can be. Blame the driver for over-speeding and brake failure, NOT ANY BAD ROAD!

Ken Nnamani is one of the most respected, scandal-free politicians in Nigeria (not South-East alone).

Even Fani-Kayode wrote an emotional letter to him when he (Nnamani) publicly withdrew his PDP membership one year ago.

PDP also officially sent a letter to him (published in the media) where they begged him not to resign from the party. They described him as a 'rare, honest politician'.

The same man some people (here on NR) are insulting as being corrupt and hungry.

This was someone who refused OBJ's bribe and threat of impeachment, PDP pressure, etc, and killed 3rd term for OBJ as Senate President.

The current (8th) Senate is the most cantankerous, quarrelsome, and antagonist Senate that we have had in a long while.

This Senate has consistently harassed the current President by seeking unnecessary powers and cutting so many powers of the Executive and appropriating such powers to their selfish selves.

The APC is not a political party at all; it is merely an agglomeration of megalomaniacs who sought power for its sake!

How could a Senate with majority of members from the ruling party be the same party members that are always attacking the President (from the same party). The same attitude occurs in the House of Reps!

Give it to PDP, they were very very united! David Mark, as Senate President, worked well with Jonathan. PDP FG also had its way in the 7th Senate, and PDP members backed Jonathan's government 100%. However, this current Senate is an opposition Senate in reality, but a majority Senate on paper only!

These guys at the Senate are just dumb!

Any accountancy/accounting student in secondary school (let alone any ICAN student) will tell you that "virement" is the standard accounting term all over the world for transfer of surplus funds from a budget head to another, well within a consolidated budget. In layman term, it simply means taking a vote of funds from, eg education to health, to meet any shortfall under health. It does not affect the original total budget!

The fool called Ekweremadu, a so-called lawyer, has just exposed his stark ignorance to the entire world, all in the name of lousy politics!

PDP is a party of clowns, jesters, and nitwits! Suspension galore (Ogun, Osun, Kwara, Plateau, now Ondo)! And they blame APC for their self-inflicted woes.

Cairo Ojugboh, Ali Modu-Sheriff's faction's PDP National Deputy Chairman, already stated the major cause of PDP's problem and it is an eight-letter word: "IMPUNITY"

In all of these, the most annoyingly daft and naive thing Makarfi's faction of PDP (same faction as Mimiko, Fayose, Wike) did was NOT to have appealed THAT judgement of Justice Okon Abang, which was declared since JUNE 2016! They stupidly sat on their own rights and REFUSED to appeal the judgement until it was affirmed in NOVEMBER 2016 (after 5 MONTHS); a time it was too late! Eyitayo Jegede is a SAN, how he did not know that his faction should have appealed that judgement since June 2016 is baffling! It was as if they were all under a spell, lol!

The summary of PDP's wahala (which by the way has not ended, with the gale of suspensions and counter-suspensions in Ogun, Osun, Kwara, etc) is as follows:

1. Fayose, Wike, and Mimiko made the greatest political mistake of their lives to have invited and imposed Ali Modu Sherriff as National Chairman of PDP! Sheriff had a long history of betrayal. How they did not know that remains a mystery. He was in ANPP but was giving PDP and Obasanjo all the strategies of ANPP! He was instrumental to ANPP Governors' reduction from 10 to about 4 after the 2003 elections. ANPP never recovered from that treachery by Sheriff.

2. PDP lacks internal democracy. All parties have those tendencies, but in PDP, it was/is mixed with impunity and "go to hell" mentality against those they wish to punish. As autocratic as Tinubu was/is, he still knows how to rally his troops and 'beg' them in secret, when required.

3. All parties are corrupt, but the corruption in PDP was/is monumental! They steal raw cash. I attended a session century where Dr. Shamsudeen Usman (Minister of Finance under Yar'Adua and also Minister of Budget and Planning under Jonathan) said that when he was Deputy Governor Operations at the CBN, he was always thoroughly searched upon entering and leaving the CBN vault, but he found it incredible that some persons could just drive in, enter the CBN vault, and cart away billions of US dollars under Jonathan!

4. Jonathan was a gentleman, but was evidently a confirmed weakling! Majority of his appointees took advantage of this human weakness and raped Nigeria to no end.

5. PDP may have to rebrand, change its name and find credible Nigerians to register afresh as members ahead of 2019 , else, that party is gone forever!
