Wisdom, Buhari met and had dinner with the 4 presiding officers of the National Assembly: Senate President Saraki, Deputy Senate President Ekweremadu, House Speaker Dogara, and Deputy House Speaker Lasun. What happened (which many newspapers fully reported) was the following:

1. The CSO to the President allowed these 4 Principal Officers to bring their cars into the Villa, very near to the dinner venue.
2. Other Principal Officers and selected Senators and Reps (about 20) were asked to come down from their Coaster Bus and undertake biometric for issuance of tags (which is the normal routine) before attending the dinner.
3. The Senators and the Reps (NOT THE 4 PRESIDING OFFICERS) REFUSED to come down from their Coaster Bus and left the Villa.
4. The expanded dinner (which will involve the 20 Senators and Reps who left the Villa) has now been re-scheduled for next Tuesday, October 31.

So, it is NOT TRUE that Saraki, Ekweremadu, Dogara, and Lasun stormed out of the Villa.

The almost faultless infrastructure in some of Aregbesola's primary and high/secondary schools (including the one showcased here and the ones commissioned before now and those still under construction) in Osun are FAR, FAR BETTER than what we have in some so-called State Universities in Nigeria!

President Goodluck Jonathan, there is no need for this revisionist "I will mention the reason years after the beneficiaries must have gone" story. You lost in 2015 because:

1. You were one of the most clueless human beings to have ever presided over the affairs of a country in the world.

2. You were an irredeemable drunk, who embarrassed so many people overtly and covertly with your abject drunkenness (I have a few witnesses, but of course, I won't mention their names here).

3. You allowed certain women to hijack your government; in fact, they were the true "Presidents" under your clueless watch. They were your cantankerous, intemperate, loud-mouth wife (Patience Ibifaka Jonathan), your 'untouchable' Minister of Petroleum Resources (Diezani Allison-Maduekwe), your 'almighty, all-powerful' Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, whatever that daft title meant (Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala). They dispensed favors to whomsoever they fancied, and you dared not raise an eyebrow to rein in on them! You were that timid and clueless!

4. You were known to be gentle, but you took gentility to the level of imbecility. You were so timid, clownish, and docile that Ministers and other Advisers tossed you around like a toddler would toss around his toys.

5. You needlessly resorted to banal ethnic and religious sentiments when you allowed Ijaw militants, Ijaw ex-militants, a lost, so-called President of CAN, Ayo Oritsejafor, old-man Edwin Clarke, and others to practically take charge of your Government. Even among your South-South 'home base', you were seen mainly as an 'Ijaw President', and not a 'South-South President', much less the President of Nigeria!

6. Your timid mien, approach, and nature meant that you disgraced Nigeria countless times at global events so much to the extent that you allowed a CNN reporter, Amanpour, to intimidate you on the global stage and you started stammering like a he-goat caught stealing yams!

Major world leaders, therefore, had scant regard for you, for they saw you as a simpleton, an errand-boy President. Even in ECOWAS and African Union, you were a 'nobody and you were supposed to be Nigeria's President, the President of the country that largely funds those two bodies!

7. You were the object of jokes, derision, and fun among African and global diplomats because you had no forceful view about anything. You were too gentle and meek to be called a true leader!

8. You allowed your wife to throw insults on everybody, especially during the critical campaign period when you were expected to court the support of all parts of Nigeria.

9. You were elected largely in 2011 with massive goodwill (as a minority), but you misused the rare opportunity because your Government did practically nothing for the people of Nigeria, except a few 'positive lights' in your Government such as Minister of Agriculture, Dr. Akinwumi Adesina. There was nothing to celebrate regarding roads, electricity, education (ASUU went on strike for almost one year!), health...

10. Lastly, you ran a government that elevated corruption to the level of "formal Government policy". You goofed by stating publicly that "stealing is not corruption", and by saying "I do not give a damn" when asked by journalists to declare your assets as Yar'Adua did before you.

While it is yet to be established whether or not you were corrupt, you allowed everyone around you to steal with reckless abandon. Because they did not respect you, being too docile and meek, they just opened the treasury, sometimes stealing openly without any care in the world!

President Jonathan, please save us your upcoming "tales by moonlight", the reasons for your loss in 2015 were too glaring!

For the first time in a long while, I agree with Junaid...Atiku is very angry that Buhari administration broke the wicked monopoly of his (Atiku's) oil servicing/maritime monopoly, the company called INTELS, which he fraudulently made a monopoly when he was the VP to Obasanjo.

Hadiza Bala Usman, the young (but tough) lady at NPA, broke that evil monopoly called INTELS, when she opened up the business to others and rightly stated that NO LAW allowed INTELS to be a crude monopoly.

He is also upset that no one calls him regarding appointments.

In the past few weeks, he's convened (and attended) several trouble-shooting meetings involving several groups, with most meetings extending till 2am-4am of the following day! A friend told me that the man had not slept more than four hours in the last two weeks...

And again, this is CHANGE. This is the first time in recent history (at least since 1992) that an ASUU strike had lasted only one month (or 5 weeks)!

Also, this is the first time in recent history that a NASU strike had lasted just less than one week!

Again, medical doctors' strike lasted only a few weeks, when in the past, it could last 5 months!

Also, NUPENG strike was averted!

Furthermore, ULC labour strike was averted.

All of these was anchored by Chris Ngige's shuttle diplomacy, long meetings, and conclusion of agreements.

It had always been the Sultan's job to publicly state the day of any Eid celebration by Muslims in Nigeria, while it is the job of the Federal Government to declare PUBLIC HOLIDAYS! The FG will do that (very likely as Friday September 1 and Monday September 3) so stop being mischievous!

You and I know too well that it is so because the lunar calendar and the Gregorian calendar are different, and that unlike other holidays like Christmas, Easter, etc, dates of Eids cannot be pre-determined (they could actually be predicted either with plus or minus one day) hence the Sultan's declaration upon the advice of the Moon Sighting Committee.

The Sultan has not committed any error!
