And like many of us (myself included), we are born in sin and keep sinning until we repent, whereby we are supposed to grow in the knowledge of the Lord, by Love for God for starters, knowing that His Way is right and NOT our way (thus, our repentance). If we do that, great, we become Children of God, and learn how to surrounder our "self" to do the right things, such as forgive others and to stop sinning. But if we do not repent, we remain children of the devil, still in sin. That's all Cain was... a sinner, and nothing more.:

What you seem to miss, KJ, is that God's Law was still there, just as Eternal as always.

But since you live by defending your father, the devil, in your head, you don't even see that the devil also sinned, by lying to Eve.

Your father also sinned by tempting Eve to covet and steal.

Your father also sinned in other ways that day. The hope here is that maybe, just maybe you'll look a little deeper at God's Eternal Law and consider the other sins by the devil that day in defying the Eternal God and the morality contained in His Law.

I keep hoping for you, KJ, believe it or not.

I don't have any hope for the devil, of course, because his fate is sealed by his own continued rebellion.
