Myer: 1. Spirituality: Spirituality involves the recognition of a feeling or sense or belief that there is something greater than myself, something more to being human than sensory experience, and that the greater whole of which we are part is cosmic or divine in nature. (Ref Dr. Maya Spencer) Spirituality involves the recognition Of KNOWING that there is more than your physical self! And that there are others who are themselves not physical, aside you. |

Christianity Etc › Re: The Freewill Glitch by Dtruthspeaker: 6:38pm On Jun 27, 2021*. Modified: 7:11pm On Jun 27, 2021 |
Myer: What is Freewill? In robotic terms, it is simply what robots do not have and man has.
Freewill is what separates a human being from a mindless creature which simply obeys the command or purpose for which it was designed. The difference between you and your car, pencil, phone etc. Myer: A human being with freewill has a mind of theirs and can choose between choices and make their own decisions. Note: "can choose Between Choices" Myer: This poses a couple of question for religion- especially Christoanity.
As Deuteronomy 30:15-20 says, God placed the choice between life and death on man. Do not skip the process. Before the choice of Life and Death was the Choice of Life and Life, No Death at all. Until, one woman went to add it to the List of Options. Myer: Lets us break this down comprehensicely;
1. God created Life and Death. Comprehensively, God kept death away from the List of Options! Myer: 2. He has given man the "freewill" to choose between life and death. Before the option of death entered the List of Options, God had already given man "Freewill" eg "brought unto Adam to see what he would call them. Genesis 2:19 Myer: 3. The bible says God has predestined those who will have life and those who will have death. No, the Bible did not! Your evil understanding is to blame. Myer: 4. God says he hated Esau but loved Jacob without any fault or choice of Esau. Again, Your evil understanding at work. Myer: 5. But the condition for eternal life is to believe in Jesus, repent and confess your sins and ask for forgiveness.
Questions: Can it be called freewill if the option of who gets life or death is already predestined? No! Myer: Can it really be called freewill when everyone who doesnt do God's will according to the bible is doomed for hell.
If it is truly freewill then it is not a matter of heaven or hell but choosing to obey God without consequences of not obeying him. If it is truly freewill, there should not be conditions attached. Otherwise, the obvious reality is bound to play out
. Freewill is not Absolute Freedom, it is Regulated and Sanctioned Freedom to Act.If any creation desireth Absolute Freedom, then it must create itself so that it can give itself Powers to Act in any way and manner it desireth. Until then, your freedom is always regulated and prescribed. Myer: People are forced to exercise their freewill to make the safer decision of not going to hell out of fear of burning in hell for eternity.
People are compelled to pretend until the get what they desire.
Any determined person can choose to be pious for a while if it guarantees heaven. Which is why often times after all the piety and righteousness some stop having faith due to lact of results It appears Smart! But I have bad news for them, God does not want such people. Myer: Eventually, the reality becomes that there is actually no freewill if choosing my will takes me to hell unless I choose God's will. As I have told you before, every creation has regulated and prescribed freewill. (Permissions/Rights) Exactly as your car, phone and pencil, that is what it always means to be "a creation."
You are Only as Free as your Creator has Permitted! |

If I did deviate again, please be so kind to enlighten Me if it's not too much to ask. The word "Here" in reference to my recent statement to another which you have taken up makes me take notice of your interest in the words "Forbidden". Re Cabble4:Do you call "A Choice Handed to you" a forbidden?, Google defines the word forbidden as forbidden /fəˈbɪd(ə)n/ Learn to pronounce adjective 1. not allowed; banned. I am sure you know that. So what is Wrong here? Is it my saying the word "forbidden"? Would it have been better if I had said "Prohibited"? |

12rev: What of animals? Do they fall sick and die? Do they suffer hunger also? Anyway through Genesis 1 properly, youl realise it is...for instance check Gen 1:3-5 and compare with Gen 1:14-19. The sun, moon etc were created on the 4th day, what light was created on the first day in verse 3-5? How does a day exist without the sun? What was morning, evening, night before the 4th day? Again in Gen 3:23-24 man was driven from the garden of Eden, andGod put an angel to guard the tree of life...where exactly is this? Or did God uproot the tree of life from earth?... Its all a metaphor actually. Complete Departure from Post. Nothing here is about sick animals and moon but Adam and Eve not eating that which was forbidden. |

Everytime the subject of marriage came up, you see "The Law, male and female created He them" arise and not male and females. And This was what The Law was until the son of the first murderer, Lamech, became the First to Disobey that specific Law. |

awitness41: Yes, excellent DT !
Sin is the transgression of the Law.
That answers question #3 above, thank you. Questions 1 and 2 are surely connected somehow...
I have to go now, but in the meantime I remember saying you were now reading the Bible, with the intention of reading it all the way through. May I humbly make a suggestion... or maybe it's actually a reminder of support in that endeavor ? If one starts with the Gospels of Jesus Christ in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and, John, and reads them on endless reel for life (at least 3 chapters a week, or more), 3 chapters, at a stretch, in a week? In my.respectful opinion that is not a good way to read. I think it best to read, then verify that, that specific point read, is True in Natural Living and then become an expert In Doing what you have just read. That is how I am reading the Bible and (any text) most especially as there are many what we call "little details" in there which I sometimes missed and I once suffered the consequences for not paying good attention to details. So, now I am trying my best to ensure that I do not miss any important thing which the Bible has already fore-spoken. So I started last year and I am still in Exodus 20. (And truth fully, I can not remember, at my own will, much of the matters contained in Genesis. But at least, I am certain, I have seen them and immediately I see them, remembrance occurs!) |

LordReed: You have. You wrote that god no longer talked to Abraham, that for you was Abraham destroyed. The point of your opposition to this thread was that God did Not Respond to His friends and Loved ones when they took up concubines. To which I countered that He did. Thus, I simply showed that He Responded to Abraham's sin of Concubining. |
