jesusjnr2020:
It was the righteousness of Job that God bragged about and proudly displayed before Satan who was His greatest enemy. And this wasn't just once but two good occasions to show that it wasn't by accident but a very deliberate act of God. .
It is Not the Righteousness of Job, Job does not Own Righteousness but rather Righteousness as Performed by Job!
Christianity Etc › Re: Which Is As A Filthy Rag In God's Sight? Righteousness Or Wickedness? by Dtruthspeaker:
Ammishaddai:
I still have the belief that man righteousness is as a filthy rag before God. The proof of this comes from the Book of Job4:17-19.
Any Rightness as determined by man which falls short of the Greater Rightness of God will and must be Filthy.

Because, Rightness Always means the Absence of Injustice and Unfairness!

And All God's Rightness Completely and Absolutely Fulfill this Just is and Fairness Requirement
but man's own set of rightness generally falls short. Eg "Do Not Give, Else you would be Poor!"
Christianity Etc › Re: Which Is As A Filthy Rag In God's Sight? Righteousness Or Wickedness? by Dtruthspeaker:
jesusjnr2020:
I have already used the instances of Job and several others to prove that man's righteousness was not as filthy rag in God's sight as wrongly assumed by many Christians, but that it was man's wickedness instead that was as filthy rags in God's sight.

Man's Righteousness refers to Righteousness or Rightness Determined and Set by man himself, which is Mostly Very Filthy and Unrighteous.
Example, where man says that it is righteous for the first son to Inherit all his father's property to the exclusion of his siblings!

All the Righteous men in the Bible did not choose and determine righteousness but simply Feared God and Understood that His Will is that men should do Only that which is Right and Good above and over all that is not right and not good.

Therefore, it was not their Righteousness but God's Righteousness!

Additionally! Even in the sight of man, evil and wickedness is Always Always a Horrible Thing to look upon As Proven in Crime Section!

Therefore, it Must be Very Very Terrible in the Eye of The Lord, if False Rightness is even horrible to look upon!

Again, we keep saying two different things. Genesis 2 was a result of what happened in Genesis 1... meaning Genesis 1 birthed Genesis 2. Same goes with Noah's righteousness. His righteousness was a result of him finding grace in God's eyes... meaning grace birthed righteousness. Not righteousness birthing grace.

See it's fine you don't believe so. We've been going round and round since and it's become boring already. Take care wink

Christianity Etc › Re: Freewill Vs Determinism by Dtruthspeaker:

Do we have free will or is everything destined? this is the question the church never answers
Being creations, we only have Permissions and Allowances which we call Rights, As Given by our Creator!

By these Allowances thereof, we therefore have some freedom and Power to act IN ANY ONE of these Granted Allowances.

Thus, while we have been Allowed to Walk, Run and Jump, we do not have the Allowance to Fly or live under water.

On the Other hand, because we are creations, Our Creator has the Right and Power to Create us in a certain way or/and set us in a particular course of direction, which we of course MUST respond to, because we are creations like our cars and bicycles and phones, hence the phenomenon of Pre-destination!

So a man has both Freewill and Predestination, but freewill is his own natural grant until His Creator changes things!

Nah, u said Noah's righteousness caused him to have grace in God's eyes. And I said the grace that Noah found was the reason he was seen as righteous. You see the twist here?
Good! Now, it is Settled that Just like Genesis Chapter 2 Explains and Gives more information about what was reported in Chapter 1, "verse 9 of Genesis 6 Explainss Why Noah got God's Grace".

In fact Verse 12 and 13 Clearly Captures Everything.

I know you know all this now but your desire to do no righteousness or your desire to not use your own strength to willfully do only right and good things fuels you.

Note: Noah is not the Owner and Originator of Righteousness, so it is not "Noah's Righteousness" but that Noah was not Corrupt Before God, Did No Violence, was Fair (Just) and Perfect which things are Always Right and Good (Righteousness or Rightness)

It's a shame that you're so desperate to correct someone else when you have not even corrected yourself...
Stop being fraudulent! you gave no correction rather I Accused you of Wrong Doctrine and you sought to defend yourself but you could not successfully do so.

Following your failure to defend your belief, I ceased accusation but rather raised my hands to God in innocency and goodwill and dropped a little counsel.

Now you ad hominem me! I'll take it!

However, the Records here clearly show that it is you who FIRST said a wrong thing to which I and anyone here had a Right to Correct and Set Aright in the absence of a Valid Rebuttal!

So Personally Attacking me is Not A Rebuttal rather it PROVES HOW COMPLETELY WRONG YOU ARE, THAT YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO DEFEND YOUR POSITION!

YOU CLEARLY SHOW AND PROVE THAT, THAT POSITION IS INDEFENSIBLE!

Chapter 2 is a result of chapter 1 in Genesis. Noah's righteousness is a result of him finding grace in God's eyes.
At the bolded, in other words Chapter 1 caused chapter 2.

Therefore, by your statement above, you say Chapter 1 gave birth to Chapter 2 meaning, God created male and female man where God Again, in Chapter 2 "formed Another man from the dust of the ground" (verse 7) Adam and Another female obtained from Adam's rib, which clearly means Adam is not the first man but the Second, the male in chapter 1, is the first man!

And No one knows what happened to that male and female in chapter 1!!

Does that make any good sense, most especially as you accepted that Adam was the first man, which you obtained from Chapter 2 not chapter 1?

You are being fraudulent oh!

You're using the second to explain the first. It's always the first that gives way to the second. That's why "first" is before "second". Don't twist the Bible to suit your belief. Let the Bible interpret the Bible. Grace came first. And then, cos he found grace in God's eyes, he was declared righteous. I really don't have anything more to say on this, else we'd be going round and round.
Then how did you know that Adam was the first man? Was it not the second in Chapter 2 verse 7 and 20 which Explained Chapter 1 verse 26, which was First?

Yet you chose to accuse me of twisting when it is plain for all to see The Truth, if they want!

Stop arguing unnecessarily!

Is the old testament not different from the new one?
Why are you Angry? What have I said that should draw your anger? Or is it because you perceive you are Wrong?

Whenever I see A Wrong I Must Condemn it and of course ready to contend against it.

There is Nothing like Old and New Testament rather it is a Re-Presentation and A Renewal of the Grace to Escape the Anger of The Lord, if man wants!

God is Always the same and the same means Nothing about Him will change whether Goodness or Grace or Mercy or Law; None of them will ever change and they did not.

So No man has a Right to Change what God has Clearly Said He will Never Change.

jesusjnr2020:
Is the new testament not better and greater than the old one?

Does that mean it's not from the same God?

It's from the same God but different versions!

One is greater, better, more advanced than the other but from the same God!
No, Same Testament with the Only Difference being that the Present hearers No Longer knew what great things God has done, since Israel Put Away God's Grace of Law and did evil perpetually from the Beginning!

And you all still do not appreciate it!

jesusjnr2020:
The name, Jesus, is used to distinguish the difference between the old and new versions not that it's not from the same God.

One question to you two. The verse where Noah found grace, was it before he was referred to as righteous or after?
Noah was First Righteous, Before he Obtained the Grace of God to Escape God's Anger!

Which is why verse 5 first lays the ground every man was wicked but Noah got God's Grace in verse 8.

Then verse 9 Explains Why Noah got God's Grace which is because he was a fair (just) man, perfect and walked with God which means he did what God wanted him to do

I'm sorry o, I just had to chook mouth cheesy ...but wasn't Noah's time before the law of Moses was given? (Noah was in Genesis and the law was given in Exodus)

And didn't Noah find grace before God called him righteous? (He found grace in Genesis 6:8 and God called him righteous in Genesis 7:1). Doesn't that mean when we receive His grace we'll be seen as righteous?
God is Good, thus Grace given to All Offenders BUT ONLY FOR THE PURPOSE OF PREVENTING THEM FROM COMMITTING FURTHER OFFENCES, AND NO MORE.

WHEN AN OFFENDER FAILS TO STOP COMMITING OFFENCE HE SHALL BE JUDGED FOR ALL HIS OFFENCES!

HOWEVER, Grace is Also given to he who has done The Right and Good, which prevents him from being Prosecuted for Past Offences.

But, when He Commits an Offence After Grace,
He shall be Prosecuted and found Guilty!

LisaAnneMia:
So if the coming of Jesus will be like Noah's time, that means that those who received grace first like Noah and then became righteous in the sight of God (cos of the grace they received first), does it mean it's these set of people that'll make heaven? Pls explain.
You mean the Exclusive Kingdom of God not heaven, for heaven is with you and you go there frequently!

So, to your question, the Day of The Lord (Judgement Day) is A day of Great Anger, but I think those who are Righteous are fist Separated here (what people call rapture) and they are not affected by the Plagues going on in the world.

And by the Word of The Lord, "He who endures to the end shall obtain a Good Reward"!

The Law though a form of grace, is to make man know the gravity of sin committed.
The Law Shows,
1) the Gravity of an Offence/Sin
2) Dictates What an Offence/Sin
3) Dictates the Grounds for which there is No Offence/Sin
4) Dictates The-Fences (D'Fences) which can be Raised when Offence/Sin is Alleged or Occasioned!

MightySparrow:
The grace of Jesus is like a cushion effect because the Law itself failed to bring man to perfection.
It is Not The Law that Failed, it is the People who were Given The Law who Put it Aside and Covered it up.

Right from the very beginning, they never abided by The Law. Common Simple Law of Gather the Manna you need daily and Do Not Store it, They Disobeyed.

On the day before Sabbath, Take 2 portions of your daily intake and store, for no Manna will fall on the Sabbath, They still Disobeyed

So how could The Law be said to have Failed when No One has Used it?

Is it not when a thing is properly used that it can be reported that it has failed or that it did not work?

So how can you rightfully say that a thing which you and No one has ever Used, failed?

Which is What and Why Christ brought it back and brought our Attention to it, Once Again!

That The Law Condemns and The Law can Save us, which one do we want? "Behold I lay before you death and life"

MightySparrow:
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

I was with Him on the cross spirituality to meet the needs of Justice. the He bore the pain, but I the gains.
Great you said "to meet the needs of Just is" have you met the needs and requirements of Just is?

Can the one who gives offence be set to have met the needs of Just is? Is it not that just is must be taken from him.

That Statement from Lawyer Paul Above is for Only the innocent who have offended no one after learning from Christ that to give Offence renders them Condemnable.

Thus, when they stop Offending After Coming to Christ, they can therefore Raise the-Fence of Christ for they Stopped Committing Offences, Exactly as a person who was trespassing, ceasing his trespass when he saw that he was trespassing!

Which is different from a Trespasser who, knowing he was Trespassing, kept on Trespassing!

Thereby Proving My Point that beyond the Definition of it, You Do not Know the Application of Faith by the Living and as you have Truly Confessed Above neither did y care to Know About it, or rather you were not able to figure out what it Truly and Practically means, As Abraham Did.

It is sufficient for you to just use your living for living sakes and living "outside" The Law ("As I do not live by any rule"wink meanwhile, "Outside" The Law is still Covered by Law, ditto: "The Law that says that you are Outside The Law!"

But it is your own bed you make and you shall lay on it as you have made it.

However, it is Established and Written that Abraham, LIVED by Faith and living is and has always been A PRACTICAL ACTIVITY REQUIRING ACTIONS and CERTAIN OTHER ACTIONS!

It is Written "My people perish for lack of knowledge; where No Counsel is, the people fall"

Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach A Just Man, and he will increase in learning.

I Choose to Consciously and Willfully Live and not just live because I have been given life to live!
