Its not like programming or hardware where what you see is what you get. Google "sharing internet connection between two computers". That should help. Note, both computers cannot have static IPs, it wont work. The one with the internet connection will have a static ip of 192.168.0.1 and a subnet of something like 0.255.255.255 or so (i cant say if its correct) the other one has to be set to automatic, it will choose an IP by itself. |

one of the computers will be the server, that's the one with the internet connection. the other one will be the client. Enable internet connection on the Network Adapter of the server which will set its IP to 192.168.0.1. Connect the other computer using a cross network cable and that one will get an IP automatically. P.S: I cant remember too well whether its a cross network cable u use for this thing. Heck its been like 3 years i did this last. |

While at work on a location yesterday a dude from spain said same thing but i was too busy to take him seriously and the reply he got from another dude was enough. His exact reply "I'll just fucccking stop using it". I think he said 4.99 pounds or so, per month. |

That's me yea, got a problem with that or you're just jealous? I hope the next time you turn that HP On, it stays in that screen for 5 minutes and then blows up into ur face. Hey, here's the deal about that HP not getting past the POST. It musta tried booting from your HD only to notice some non-windows OS on it and it'll be like "WTF dude, look at me damn body, what part of 'Designed for windows. . .' do you not understand?  " . And mighty 4ller will have this dumb look  or this one  or likely this one |

Hi gameeaddict let me address your issues one by one. A forum and a Video streaming site can be hosted on any of the shared hosting plans. There are dedicated servers which are used to host sites for the public. the restrictions on resource usage are put in place to ensure every one on a particular server is safe and the server is healthy. gameaddict:If for instance you have a total disk space of 1GB, all the files with file sizes above 500KB should not exceed 100mb (which is 10% of 1GB). You can use up your entire disk quota if you want. This applies to only files with sizes above 500KB. This does not apply to the VPS, however. I will personally recommend you look at the VPS options if you want to run a video streaming site. There has never been a server crash on any of the dedicated servers and VPSes and I intend to keep those records clean, I also am very transparent in business that is why these things are clearly placed in the TOS. As per site backups, yes you will be able to save them yourself. Although backups are made daily on the server, the backups are not guaranteed and getting your site's backup to you is done as a courtesy service. Its better to also run you own backups. Please let me know if you have further questions. P.S: Accept my apologies for any confusions the issues raised in the TOS may have caused. In the next review of the TOS, adding some more explanations to some things there will be considered. |

Seton:Hmmmm, I dunno how to thank you o! The book is down to earth. I'm already familiar with everything in it but I learnt them the hard way (like the author did). Wish I had this book before now. Well my GF is so happy she's gone through more than a quarter of the book just today and is hitting me with questions. She has always wanted to know what I do on my dedicated servers cuz I spend more time on them than on her . This book just saved me all the wahala of explaining everything. She's gotten up to speed already and I have given her a VPS to play with |

I noticed the "suspended" thingy over a month ago because i went to some other site hosted through internetvisa and saw it was suspended, i then had to trace to the host and it landed on internetvisa and i saw that suspended too. Lets hope that doesn't happen again. |

^^ You may want to check the php configuration file (php.ini) of your local server. The option to display warnings may be turned off. Specifically, under the "Error handling and logging" section. |
