Provide the filenames of the archives and i'll get you the password.

The filenames have to be exactly the way they were from the download source.

WebmastersRe: How Do I Handle This Client by DualCore1: 1:37pm On Mar 26, 2010
All your fault bro. I cannot advice how to get out of this and I dunno why a thing like this still happens? There's more to web development than just the finished site. Maybe you should start looking to do some study on the business aspect of web development. Below is an excerpt that is included in all web design contracts I embark on and I follow the contract document to the last letter.

The document is signed by all parties involved before and after completion.

ComputersRe: Ipad: My Ideal Computer by DualCore1: 7:23pm On Mar 25, 2010
"Ideal" is a relative term.

microsoft will surely loose a lot of its market scope to this new garget.
That's the killer line for every new gadget. The dudes at Microsoft should be as bored as I am now and should be yawning their way through cuz we know what to expect with "promising" gadgets.

One more thing. To verify the request is coming from you, provide an email address with which I can mail you a pass phrase. You'll have to include the pass phrase in the mail you send to support@trudigits.com.
WebmastersRe: Made In Naija - Our Own Rss News Aggregator by DualCore1: 6:12pm On Mar 23, 2010
Hmmm,
This look nice. When you're ready to go all out with this, place an order for hosting on TruDigits.com for any of the shared hosting plans 1GB, 2GB or 3GB. You'll automatically get an email and an SMS containing your invoice number. Mail support@trudigits.com with the invoice number and your nairaland ID. I'll get you up and running. i'll get you hosted at no charge for the first year alone. You'll have to pay for subsequent years if you choose to remain. wink

Hey guys, i know this is off topic but how do you start a new topic on this thing? Im new!
Look for the "New Topic" button on each board aka section. The forum has boards, the boards have threads and child boards, the child boards (if any) have threads too.
We are at the thread level now and you wont see a "New Topic" button as you cannot create a thread in a thread. Go a step backward and you will get to the board level, then you can use the "New Topic" button.
Be sure to read the Rules if you havn't done so already!
WebmastersRe: Medical Website Needed by DualCore1: 5:01pm On Mar 22, 2010
Donpuzo, Afam and Afam4eva are 2 different people I have had dealings with off Nairaland.

And talking about Afam's qualifications, place both of us on a stand and I will plead innocent if accused of not knowing web development.
WebmastersRe: Are You Capable by DualCore1: 8:47pm On Mar 21, 2010
^^ I am not contradicting myself. You have made a statement which you should backup with facts and specifics. I do not believe in vague statistics.
As per the other incident that happened on the other thread, within the context of that thread it is bad practice to have named your client even if a non-disclosure agreement was not reached. This thread's issue is a totally different context. You have said something about some web dev companies, something that is surprising (to me, at least). It is only natural that you name the names of those doing things wrongly so others learn. Let us assume I offered a service to you and the service wasn't offered well. Will you not alert others who may be coming to me for the same service, so they don't make the mistake you made?

P.S: Be easy, I am not doing this to put you on a hot seat or right at the edge. I'm just trynna get facts right.
WebmastersRe: Are You Capable by DualCore1: 1:38pm On Mar 21, 2010
Donpuzo:
Seriously Nigerian Webdeveloment company takes the free part as free no pay.
Would you like to give names of such companies who see a freelance developer as a FREE developer?
I ask cuz I don't see how its possible that a company set out to do business and make profit will be expecting people they work with to do this on a free-of-charge basis.

Thanks for your reply, i have tried to install it through the admin dashboard but i keep getting error message.
This one humbly goes out to every one of us. When we have problems, its best to provide as much information as we possibly can. This saves time and number of posts taken to solve a problem.

Rightworld, you say you keep getting errors, how should we possibly know the error message you're getting? In your next post please, provide as much information as you possibly can about this (with screenshots, if you like). The first question bug24 asked, you havn't answered!

naijalink:
Another reason why it is not showing hyperlink properly may be that you are using MTN data service, MTN data service prevent some website from opening properly especially, secure website and Cpanel.
Yea, I second the Cpanel issue and Nigerian webhosting clients should please start understanding that this is not a problem with the host, it is MTN's problem. For some weird reasons, MTN's IPs have a problem with handling user authenticated sessions.
