Most schools accept candidates from any background for Social works but know this, it is a very competitive course so the requirement is high; not really academic requirements but more of extra-curriculum activities like working in related settings (Nursing homes, orphanage, welfare agency etc) either paid or voluntary for minimum of 3 months. Most schools require minimum of 6 months. Asides from this , other requirements are expected. Check the schools to confirm.
Some Uni don’t even allow international students apply for the course as they might find it difficult to confirm genuine character of the applicants while those that allow them apply, might accept very few or zero.

Please gurus in the house, can you recommend any university that can offer me masters in social work with accounting background.
Thanks

Tobexin:
management courses isn’t in shortage occupation list hence UK don’t need more of those that studied such courses. Search for the list on google then chose those courses you can blend your background with. There are lot of courses as a person with a management background can blend into in the shortage list.

please do they require IELTS

Tobexin:
Teesside University is one of the Cheapest University in Uk If not the cheapest. Middlesbrough can not be compared to other major cities such as London, Manchester and so on. The cost of living in Middlesbrough is considerably low compare to those Cities. As a laid back city it is still better than Lekki In Lagos as the citizens aren’t deprived the necessity of life such as good roads, pipe borne water, constant electricity and so on. I have seen students who came here to study without their complete school fee but where able to offset this billl close to 3 million within one year just by doing these common student jobs which you will definitely find here if you are ready to work. For me the term laid back is subjective and not objective and it depends on what you are looking for.

Please is graduate cert. equivalent to post graduate diploma here in Nigeria?

Qudkom:

They both have similarities. They are post graduate programs that require a post secondary qualification (Bsc). The post baccalaureate acts as a bridge to further graduate programs and also helps in adding extra credits to the previously acquired Bsc degree. It is most suitable for non-business degree holders who went to acquire knowledge in a business Field. For example engineering graduate who want to study business administration can do a post baccalaureate program.

The Graduate Certificate is similar to an Msc program just a little streamlined, doesn't require a thesis and less expensive compared to an msc program.

The 2 programs also guarantee a PGWP( Post graduate work permit)

This is False.

Linzo:

And what pleasure do you derives in dishing out false information applicants, yes IRCC requires an applicant to show a proof of fund up to about certain amount which could be less, equal or above the stated figures. The main concern of the IRCC as mandated to Visa officers is to critically examined the sources of such fund, and of which a sponsor pay stub takes care of that. So in essence, if an applicant sponsor is able to show a proof of fund of about N1.5m with adequate source of income then the applicant is good to go.. It's very wrong to advice against 6.5m POF.

Yes on Saturday I leaked a vital information which we don't let out to the public but you counter it, and I gave you an assignment to refer or quote how many students from top federal universities I listed that got visa rejected. I repeat again the IRCC have the list of universities in Nigeria which they give preference for study permit and if you're not a graduate of these institutions, then it will be very difficult but not impossible to get study permit approval hence the many refusals from Nigeria.

Mr man, I'm not debating with it I'm educating you on what you don't know and I will advice to learn and not forming James bond for me.

Finally, in as much as I appreciate and give you kudos for the guide you've offered in this forum, I will advice you to welcome every information you get from other members especially those contributions that seems to be contradicting your point of view.
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by dubajek: 3:16pm On Nov 25, 2019
hmmmm. what information are you trying to pass here.

Linzo:

Why should it be ignored? When your refuses to address the real issue in the quest to positioning yourself as authority that you're not. Some of you trying to claim an authority here don't even have accurate knowledge of how the Canadian immigration system works, but rather result on conjecture, the best advice you gave is to tell applicant that without having thousands of millions of Naira in the sponsor account their application will not scale through. You will have to show landed property, this or that bla bla.

Let me ask you, how many of your generic advice here have yielded positive results. You people will want to paint the whole process look as only the highly rich and rich can access Canada. Let me sink this into you, the Canadian authority does not care how rich you're or how you submitted all the assets worth millions from Nigeria, but all they check is your intention and they got to know all that with all documents submitted and information filled.

So the earlier you learn from other persons who may probably have the information you are not privilege to then the better you will guide people accordingly. Someone must not only move to Canada through study route as they are other surer routes to migrate to Canada as @dare111 pointed out yesterday's.

this payment for transcript verification should stop!! It's pure extortion. you pay for transcript processing and pay for its verification. too bad, just to send an email confirming the transcript. What a country!!!

MINTss:

Lasu verification is 27700.
Go to lasu.edu.ng then click on the payment link then click undergraduate or postgraduate link and proced with your payment.......after payment bring your online payment reciept ICT building to the exam and records department for processing
