Hello. @the bolded statement is not true.. There are people that have submitted hard copy statement and gotten their visa. Fake statement has nothing to do with the app you mentioned Cheers bigtt76: Yup ...I'm even seeing the banks are adopting the use of a third-party platform to send bank statements directly to Embassies and High Commissions - https://www.visa-mybankstatement.com/ scroll down and see the list of banks there. This means if its not from this platform, it would regarded as fake |

Hello
@the bolded statement, yes mistakes do happen and it won't be the first but the probability of making another mistake even after going for an AR is 0.000000000001%
Cheers [quote author=WatchYourSix post=113990263]I hope i find that guys post that used an immigration lawyer to get the UKVI....like i said...it might be more than the statement...
they used silent tactics for months only for them to later give the guy him visa without saying anything about the issue again.. They are human beings in UKVI oga... and I kid you not when i say this is not the first time its happening...[/qu ote] |

Hello, I will advise to wait till your CAS is out. You may not need to ask this question. Cheers jtgpt: I'm curious about this date issue please. I haven't gotten my CAS yet , but on my offer letter, I have: Start date: 26/09/2022 End date: 31/08/2023.
This is not up to a year. If it is maintained like this on my CAS, what implication does it have please? Especially as it concerns the chances of getting a post graduate visa after my studies? |

Hello That is clearly a ban, you have also requested for a review and they have upheld their decision You will keep getting refused no matter what you do, even with a million cover letters. You have to leave any application to the UK for now (serve your 10years ban) and focus elsewhere Cheers damiplovR: This is what I got in my first refusal |

Hello, Did you get a ban in your first refusal? Reapplying with a cover letter will not help, it will be stories that touch. Confirm first if you were banned?? Otherwise you will keep piling refusals Cheers damiplovR: Hello guys. Please I'm in a delima right now. Applied for student visa since March. Got refusal in may saying they aren't convinced that my bank statement is genuine. I did an AR in June only to get an unsuccessful AR response that they still don't believe our bank statement from heritage bank is genuine. Saying it was deceptive pls does anyone know what I can do? Or if I can reapply using a cover letter proving that the bank statement was genuine @justwise |

Hello Premium lounge or Flexi appointment? They are 2different services. Have you tried to add the flex request after selecting either the assisted or self service? Try and select a date and see if you can add flex appointment once you have done so Cheers . Davidandgo: As a background, this is what I saw when I was able to book yesterday. It keeps preventing me from booking Premium Lounge for the MA because it’s not listed as a service offered on his profile. |

I have been given an appointment date (12/07/22) and time without any payment details.

Hello,. Hopefully someone in RGU can respond to your first question For the second,it seems your course is quite intense, not sure what you are studying, that's why you have the 20hrs per week restrictions. If you add your 30hrs study plus 20hrs work that's 50hrs. The average work time per week is usually 48hrs, you would be overstretching yourself to do both (as study is sort of work) It really will be better to have funds handy to keep you going and not need to work 20hrs, target 15hrs per week. You don't want to be burnt out working and with not much energy to study. You have holiday time, (please confirm the dates from your school) to rest and make up the work hours. Stress and mental health issues are real in the UK.Take care of yourself first Cheers Mamalistic5: Good morning everyone I got an offer from RGU bit someone told me that the rate of employment for students is low and that people have to go very far to get an employment
I also discovered that my course is 30 hours in a week How do people cope with that and work. Please someone should respond to my question@ Duchess90 and Justwise , thanks so much for your impact here |

Hello, It would depend on your Uni and what they are happy to receive. You could begin the process using what you have (statement of result), if your certificate is requested for you can explain the strike situation. Besides when did you graduate? Keep an ear on the news so when strike is called off you can process your certificate asap Cheers anozie09: I have my transcript but not my degree certificate (cos of the strike), can my statement of result stand in place of certificate for the entire process.. i.e: from admission to form A to visa application? Thanks

Hello, The latest time is when the dependant is ready, as long as it is done before the MA applies for post study visa. It might be worth ensuring you apply in time (when the MAs current visa validity is still within 6-4 months just to be safe). Abit of research on post study work visa processes will give you the answer to why. Cheers LORETA: Please advice , the latest time to apply for a dependant visa . MA resumes September 5th for a one year masters program.
Please explain a bit why I should apply at that particular time. Thanks |

Hello, Happy to respond to this Fully funded PhD in most cases will either be tuition and a monthly stipend for the international student Or if it is a full funded PhD for home (UK) student but open to international students, tuition will be paid as home (UK) student and the difference between the fees of a home and international student will have to be paid. So the first question is, when her funding/contract is ready you will see what it covers and that can tell what evidence of funds you will need to provide(POFs) Because you have to still apply for your visa, the PhD student will need to pay visa fees and IHS, although you can claim this back if the funding says so. 2. It doesn't cover dependants. 3. As per your Plab journey, it is for you and your wife to decide Cheers stanvesco: @Justwise
You are doing a wonderful work here. Kudos to you. I have some burning Questions please.
Would a fully funded PhD cover dependents visa, IHS etc
My wife's expecting two fully funded PhDs and I am anticipating acceptance. Why? Excellent undergraduate result and an MSc of 6.9/7.0 from a very topnotch federal University in Nigeria. I have deeply prayed and now I want to do my own part.
Please back to my question please. Paradventure she secures one of the two fully funded PhDs and from what I read here so far she doesn't need proof of fund and IHS.
However I as the dependent and one child. Are we covered by the funding? Do we ( me and my daughter) both need the POF and IHS?
The major wahala is I need to prepare the POF account in advance paradventure her acceptance and CAS comes in any moment. (We dream of emigrating together)
Please I want to be lazy and wait for the outcome of the admission process. However the oversabi mediko in me wants to plan everything out in advance and it's stressing me! Your advice would help greatly Biko.
Summary; 1) would the 2 dependents to someone offered a fully funded PhD require POF and IHS 2) Should I go now as a dependent or wait to follow my Plab pathway?
Please I have stayed too long in this "about-to-japa" pathway |

Hello, Accommodation at the moment seems to be a bit of a drag across England, not sure how it is in Scotland, Wales and NI. Target website like Zoopla, Rightmove, Open rent, sign up with letting agencies so you are contacted when accommodation is available in the market. Bear in mind that seeing is truly believing, some pictures may be too good to be true. You may wish to plan for an air b n b for max a month while you sort out the accommodation. For a couple, it might be okay to go for a shared doubleroom or a studio (room, toilet/bathroom and kitchen) accommodation Cheers Ugmama: Lol! Please advise how it's done over there and the one I should look at for?
You know Naija people dey stay for self-contain or facemeiface you .

Hello, It's not my decision to make its the OPs Cheers babey543: It is better she come to UK to avoid unnecessary expenses.
Her dependant visa covers free child birth in the UK. The twins will also get UK birth certificate. When registering the twins in school, hospital and many other amenities, they will be treated as UK Citizens by people due to the UK birth certificate. Giving birth in UK does not lead to citizenship but many citizens still think so.
Once you start using visa to register your child everywhere, the children will be targeted and in school they will treat them as non citizens.
The children born in UK don't need to apply for any visa if you give birth in UK. They only need visa if they plan to go out from the UK.
If the wife worked for 26 weeks in UK before giving birth, she will get free money from the UK government. She can even work part time to benefit. This is called Maternity Allowance for nine months and it is not classified as public funds.
If the wife do not obtain visa now, she will pay hospital money in Nigeria. Very risky to give birth to twins in Nigeria due to poor medical facilities. They will also need to apply for visa for the twins to come to UK. They will also need to renew the twins visa every time before they become citizens in the UK. All these will be avoided. |
