These days for a student, confirmation letter from Uni which should be accessible in their portal, proof of address, BRP or visa vignette is all that is needed.

The term “old gen banks” are used by me (going by the 9ja parlance) here to mean older and more conservative banks while the online banks are the new banks.
For some1 looking to do more financially like accessing credits in whatever form eg getting a credit card, mortgage loans etc) you need these banks

Not sure passport will be needed for police report but you might go with it

2. If you submit any document in another language you have to also submit a translated version (English) why don't you pay the fee and get the date corrected. You don't want to pack your admission documents with affidavits all over

I studied in the Benin Republic, and my certificate was written in both French and English language. But, the year of issuance on the English translation is wrong, I have informed my school and I was told I will have to pay a certain amount for another translation but I can also do it for free if I'm ready to wait. Can I do a court affidavit to correct the date of issuance or I can submit the French certificate during the application?

I'm into HR and im also studying data analytics with IBM and google data analytics program with the cert and knowledge from these two institutions, can I get a job as a data analyst or I go on and study data analysis instead of HR for a master's program.

Yep ,you can change the wording for instance with the consent letter to use in the case of account statement will be that ABC is your husband,and he will be joining you as your dependant and that the maintenance funds in bank statement XYZ is available for him to use.

1. Yes it is a good idea, they could also apply same time with MA

2. There's no guarantee on when either will arrive. MAs could arrive first and Dependants later or vice versa or same time

May15 to June 15 is 28days. If you applied on June 10th you applied before 28days

That's a good reason for refusal

I laminated it years back but I noticed the nylon is coming out and loosing grip on the paper and at same time the ink print( photo image, name, year of exam and grades are pilling off. I used it that way to apply to different schools and they all accepted it the way it is after requesting for scratch card. Is it advisable to use it that way for Visa application.

Just looked at the calculator again.

If you select coming to the UK with dependant it will assume you are both paying IHS fee together, my guess is that's were you got the double figure,which shouldn't be because you have paid.That option would have been if you both are applying at the same time so you only pay once.

My thoughts are to select Applying to join someone,you would still need the details of your visa route down the line but it should give you the correct figure.

I also need some help as regards my IHS fee. I would be glad if you guys can help shade some light on this.
I am going for a 2 year programme with start date 05/09/2022 to 23/06/2024. I am the main applicant and I have successfully paid my IHS fee of $ 1,491.22. However, I am having an issue with the IHS fee for my dependant (wifey) as her IHS page is asking that i pay $ 2,982.44. This is a far cry from what i calculated using the IHS calculator (gbp 1,175 or $ 1,491). Could it be that I did something wrong. To be double sure, I have cancelled her application 2ce and started afresh but alas her IHS page still keeps asking that I pay $ 2,982.44 .
Has anyone being in this situation before? Glad at your insight.

I have my employment letter and have also gotten reference from my place of work where I resigned 2 months ago. In the reference it was also stated when I left the company. Not needed as they are all applying together.The consent letter is needed if the MA was using her husband's account.

She should also fill his details as being dependent on him in the relevant section during the visa application

The wife is MA and while he's a Dependant, the POF is in the wife account. Does the wife need to give a consent that the fund is av the husband or they can just submit POF since they are going together.

Your dates seems to be wrong so I assume it is Sept 2021 to May 2022.
Your visa is expiring next month?

You plan for Masters in September (2months after). This is a process you should have started while you were concluding your top up degree.

At the moment,time is against you, you will have to go back to Nigeria to apply for your masters and return.
Unless, you have gotten your new CAS and can put in your visa application before July

I just did my application.
It was at the end of the application I discovered that I placed the wrong bank as my maintenance accoun.

I used Union Bank instead of Heritage Bank.

So I cancelled the application after paying and all
as I haven’t booked biometrics.

Now I am filling a new application.
I am told to pay another IHS.

Is there a way to link that other IHS payment with this application so I will only request for refund of Visa fee.

Their offices are in ABJ n Lagos. Visit either of them close to you for a manual booking. You might be lucky to book, pay n get tested same day. In fact, if you go very early and got tested b4 11am, you might get your results same day. The rush n queues have disappeared.
