where the hell did mourinho regreted selling gallas?
How dare youuuuuuuuuuuuuu
you must be a MUPPET
go and watch CRICKET Let him be please. I would rather he doesn't go on another tirade while we're at it. Every follower of premiership football knows that Maurinho tried very hard to keep Willie at Chelsea when they realised that he was making good his threat to leave and Maurinho said it himself afterwards that he did not want Willie to leave. |

Raimond: I`m caught between two minds:
1.I`m happy we bought another defender to bolster our defence, and enlarge our squad.
2.Why must that defender be Silvestre.(Whatever happened to chibuzor Okonkwo;beleive me he would have been a better buy, and cheap of course)
I think AW has blown it this time, and big time too.We all Love him,but i`m beginning to think he has overstayed his usefulness to Arsenal.(Time to go Prof.)
For God`s sake why can`t we all let Usmanov inject some cash into the club and we can then get a coach that is ready to take the hypertension away.
Juande Ramos: has anybody thought of him as an Arsenal coach I take it you're kidding You want to bring an untested guy to help the youngsters out? Mikael is there to give some stability to that defence cos he wont mind warming the bench when everyone is fit |

@vicade, very well put vicade: Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger said: “We have a strong squad but a young squad and Mikael’s versatility, experience and calibre will provide the extra depth we need to reinforce our challenge for honours this season. His defensive adaptability will serve us well and it’s a big plus that Mikael has top level experience and a great understanding of football in the Premier League.”
Where else can you find a defender who has all of the following
1. Nine years premier league experience with a Top 4 club 2. Can play anywhere acrross the Defence except right back 3. Does not mind warming the bench 4. Actually cost £750,000 acording to all the newspaper reports i have read
This deal was not planned and i think wenger only hijacked him from manchester city who were closing in on him. We have only two players over the age of 30 which are gallas and Almunia. We need a cool head when things go rough and all the reasonable united fans know silvestre is a decent defender who is far better than senderros and cannot be any worse than pascal cygan.
I trust wenger on this one.All those overage ,one year contract policies should be kicked out.
I think wenger will still sign a defensive midfielder(HOPEFULLY) and i think Silvestre is a great signing if for nothing else to give the squad a balance. I read that it's 650k actually |

Talking nonsense from your mouth ''you who cannot even manage your family''. silvestre no dey manu first 11 and gallas when no sabby play football naing u take dey brag. Nonsense!!!!!!! I do not like to trade insults except when they become necessary so I wont go down that route with you now. You obviously have very little or no knowledge of football hence your rant about Gallas not knowing anything about football. What team have you played for or managed in your life to say that an accomplished manager does not know what he is doing? The same Gallas that Jose Maurinho regretted losing to Arsenal is who you say does not know how to play football. I suppose you know more about football than the manager of the French national team who includes Gallas in the team, you also know more than Maurinho who tried to keep Gallas from leaving and you obviously have more football knowledge and accomplishments than Arsene Wenger. |

This topic absolutely touches a nerve with you. Go ahead and throw all the abuses. It does not take away what you really are. If you had any brain, you'll know that this is not about what Jesus would do because Jesus did not tell us to marry against our consciences. Pharisees and Saducees always wanted to turn scriptures upside down to suit their own purposes. If a prostitute turns away from her ways, God forgives her. It's different from asking me to marry a former prostitute. Why do these people with such soiled consciences like to force themselves on others? I'm sure there are many men who will agree to marry you the way you are so please go and meet them. You met many of them before. . . I wonder where they are today I could never marry a prostitute! |

WETIN HE WON TAKE SILVESTER DO. WELL SOMEONE HAS TO STAY ON THE BENCH WHILE THE MATCH IS IN PROGRESS. We are not likely to get any other top defender who'll be willing to sit on the bench so Mikael is a good choice from that point of view. |

The English still do not realise that outside of the premiership, they are rubbish. Their players are completely over-rated by their overly biased media. The English players never do wrong in England. If they make a mistake, the commentators always have a way of making escuses for them but if an African makes the same mistake, the African is 'rubbish'. That's why English players are not good! There errors are glossed over and they dont realise that they are not nearly as good as what they hear from their media. Sky commentators are not allowed to criticise English players (so it seems anyway) and so the English players' performances dont get scrutinized like other nationals. Their inadequacies show when they are with their national teams but then again it always the fault of the coach (according to their media). They dont realise that their players as not as good as they want to believe. |

many guys here can only see the fact that Silvestre does not play first team football for mannonsense again. I think he's a good signing for Arsenal because at the moment there is absolutely little or no cover for any injury to either Kolo or Gallas. For those beefing Gallas, almost every football pundit agrees that he is one of the best defenders in England. You can sit at home and write what you like when you dont even understand what football is about. Wenger, an acclaimed manager, signs Gallas and makes him captain but you who cannot even manage your family football team say Gallas is not good. biko meshionu |

But by the way, is Osaze part of Nigeria 11? Difficult to say, because he interchanges FIRST 11 with Utaka. They bench each other depending on form.
Only Yakubu, Mikel,Yobo, and Taiye Taiwo can boast of maikng Nigeria 11 at the moment. I mean automatic shirts. Uche too appears to have laid claim to automatic place in Nigeria's 11. Yakubu does not have an automatic eagles shirt. He sodesn't fit into the Nigerian play |

IS THIS ONE OF HER BROTHERS?THE boss of banking giant HBOS has had HIS accounts frozen after a thief stole his ID and withdrew thousands in cash. Staff broke the news to shocked chief executive Andy Hornby when he was on holiday after one twigged. Fraud investigators are now scouring his accounts to work out how much was nicked. The thief is believed to have got hold of one of Hornby’s old bank statements, using it to pose as the £1million-a-year bank chief. He stole at least £7,000 in one day. It is understood he was caught on CCTV withdrawing cash from at least one branch and a cashpoint. A source said: “ They think the thief is from a Nigerian background. He certainly looks nothing like Andy. It appears he used one of Andy’s statements as proof of name and address in a branch. “He also phoned a call centre to open an account with the details but it still didn’t click, and he took cash from a hole-in-the-wall. "It’s hugely embarrassing for the head of a banking group to be so lax with personal information that someone can steal his identity. "After all, banks are constantly warning customers to guard their private details. “Bank staff had to call Andy on holiday to say they were freezing his accounts. If it can happen to him, it can happen to anyone.” Halifax owner HBOS made him head of its retail division in 2001 after it merged with Bank of Scotland. He became the group’s chief exec in 2006 and was dubbed ‘Golden Banker’ by analysts when profits rocketed after the merger. He and HBOS – Britain’s fourth largest bank and biggest mortgage lender – declined to comment last night. HBOS said: “We never comment on individual customers.” Hornby is not the first bank boss to be humbled by a conman. In January, an ID thief stole £10,000 from Barclays after persuading staff to send him a credit card in the name of its £750,000-a-year chairman Marcus Agius. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/money/article1580495.ece |

"And clients of prostitutes, don't they go on to get married, sometimes to virgins? These guys feel it's great to debase and degrade women, but when they were paying for their services, were they any better than the escorts? "
Nicely said, a guy who has patronized prostitutes will still find himself a wife (God knows from where), so why can't a former prostitute find a husband? I can't condone such a lifestyle but "let he who has not sinned cast the first stone". And if she was forced into it she is even more deserving of love. A who patronises a prostitute may decide to marry a prostitute. However, I have not come across many men admitting to patronising prostitutes. If a man admits to patronising prostitutes, do you think girls will be very happy to marry such a man? |

Good Girl: Being East-African, I am in a position to give a fair and neutral assessment of all these Nigeria men-Zimbabwe women issue. My neighbour is a Zim woman married to a Kenyan man. I can swear she is the best wife in our neighbourhood: submissive, down-to-earth, friendly to all and inviting, despite being married to a millionnaire husband. I have also met Nigeria women here in Kenya: arrogant, loud (though pretty), materialistic, snobbish, though they have good dress sense. A Zim girl is the type that rarely nags. Even their men are quite dosile. Good men with a lot of courtesy and well-mannered. A Zim girl will stick with you when you are broke as hell. Not a Nigeria girl. No! All in all, I wouldn't classify SA girls with Zim girls. SA women are just something else! Avoid them like you would small-pox. Just like Makozi? |

Was she not supposed to do anything for bthe burial. It's possible she was the first born which is why she was left to spend the money for it. when my grandfather died, the monetary responsibilities for his funeral was placed completely on my mom's shoulders. Being the first born she had to pay and cater for everything. It's not like she married a non-Nigerian who doesnt understand the customs.
