RomanceRe: Why You Need Not Marry A Poor Guy by dudubobo1: 1:51pm On Aug 29, 2008
Some ladies then complain about men.

You think men dont know that if they're poor you wont marry them? If a girl marries a guy when he's rich, what makes her think he doesn't know that she only loves him because he's rich?

hopefully no guy will be daft enough to marry anyone from this website
RomanceRe: I've Had Enough Of Men! by dudubobo1: 1:40pm On Aug 29, 2008
sorry. I did not curse her. I only said she would get what she deserves.
If she wants to be a player, she'll keep meeting players

Inward examination seems too difficult for many people
RomanceRe: I've Had Enough Of Men! by dudubobo1: 1:35pm On Aug 29, 2008
@ssheryl, perhaps you should look truthfully inwards at yourself to try and determine why men treat you that way.
More often than not, it's easier for us as human beings to always blame things on other people (just like Adam) rather than looking at ourselves to see what it is about us that makes certain things happen to us
RomanceRe: I've Had Enough Of Men! by dudubobo1: 1:33pm On Aug 29, 2008
@Ujujoan, I pray that you will always meet the kind of men you deserve. I pray no innocent man fall prey to you.

What a life! A woman advising another woman to become a player
Christianity EtcRe: Preaching In The Bus by dudubobo1: 1:27pm On Aug 29, 2008
Molues are generally very noisy anyway. So it wont matter too much that someone is preaching the word. You either listen to it or switch your mind to the general noise.

kunleoshob's lunatic post had me laughing. I love sleep, and there is nothing more annoying than someone blaring into a megaphone on the streets, I don't care how well-intentioned.I bet they've precious few converts to show for something so thoughtless. There's nothing charitable or loving about disturbing other people's rest, which they'D realise if they were thinking of other people in the first place. When I do take the bus and someone's preaching, I generally don't mind and sometimes give money, if it's well-conducted. If it's annoying I read a book or stare out the window. If the person engages me in any way and ignores my not-so-subtle hints to be left alone,I'll more likely than not sock im.
you give money to who? is he a beggar or a preacher?
Christianity EtcRe: Deeper Life Bible Church: Why Avoid Us? by dudubobo1: 1:23pm On Aug 29, 2008
I agree with ib MFM is the church, i used to attend the church when i was in nigeria. The thing i love most about the church is their deliverance service. you fast from sunday and break on friday or sunday i can't really remember. There was this part they told us to shake our head and keep praying i did it all of a sudden, i could feel something crawl out of my forehead. It was a great feeling i felt free. Most churches nowadays are into fashion and going to look for guys or girls. MFM IS NOT. you go there pray and go home . But i believe 1 thing whatever church you go to doesnt matter so far deep in your heart you accept the lord as your saviour and you do the right thing after all God is not going to judge us by the church we went to but by our heart and soul
Shaking your head till you feel something come out? Is there any scriptural basis for that? I just hope many dont develop problems with their heads/brains later in life

Hey. You decide what's secondary in your scheme of things, and I'll decide mine, ja?
Exactly! and dont expect every other person to have the same priorities as you
Christianity EtcRe: Money Earned Through Gambling Given As Tithe by dudubobo1: 11:58am On Aug 29, 2008
What exactly is the bible's stance with regards to gambling?
If the guy feels alright with gambling, I dont really have anything against it; if he pays tithes, it's good for him
PoliticsRe: Afikuyomi: From Senate To State Commissioner by dudubobo1: 11:51am On Aug 29, 2008
I am angry that he became a multi-millionaire at the expence of Nigeria without contributing anything noteworthy to the nation
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Signs Nuclear Agreement With Iran by dudubobo1: 11:46am On Aug 29, 2008
My opinion is that it might be good to explore nuclear technology. Why must everybody else depend on a few countries for their nuclear energy? If we can get it, it's fine because we may be able to advance with it otherwise we will permanently be subservient to western nations who have such technology
Christianity EtcRe: Exposing Wolves In Sheep's Clothing! by dudubobo1: 11:30am On Aug 29, 2008
I have never really liked any church where the emphasis is on either prosperity or miracles. The church should preach the undiluted word of God, not things to make people feel good.

I like motivational speakers like Ashimolowo but I dont think that's the primary thing in the Church of Jesus Christ
Christianity EtcRe: Exposing Wolves In Sheep's Clothing! by dudubobo1: 11:28am On Aug 29, 2008
@huxley, having a strong followership is not necessarily a sign of God's presence.

2Pac had, and still has, a very strong followership. Even the KKK has a strong followership
Christianity EtcRe: Nigerian Churches Today Are Business Centers! by dudubobo1: 10:59am On Aug 29, 2008
That's what the church is supposed to be. . . A BUSINESS CENTRE!

A centre for God's business
CultureRe: British Born Nigerian Girl & The Nigerian Born Girl Is There A Differance? by dudubobo1: 10:30am On Aug 29, 2008
There are sure to be differences having been brought up in different backgraounds and societies.

One other difference may be that they'll probably spell DIFFERENCE properly is they are educated grin
Christianity EtcRe: Can Prayers Change Nigeria? by dudubobo1: 10:16am On Aug 29, 2008
Prayers change things.
Prayers can save Nigeria BUT we do need to do the right things as well. We can be destroying Nigeria and telling Gpd to help us build it everytime. We will reap what we sow and we seem to be sowing seeds of corruption and maladministration on a daily basis; do we expect to reap a good economy based on that?
Christianity EtcRe: These Are The Men Preparing The Way For The Anti Christ by dudubobo1: 10:13am On Aug 29, 2008

@poster

Do you know how crazy you sound? Who frigging cares about antichrists? Everyone is busy with a cause, because life is short don't you know? Feed the hungry, world peace, civil rights, enviromental issues:Instead of clanging like some defective doomsday bell at the repair shop, why don't you go find something better to do with your time?
God wants us to be careful with regard to the antichrist.
Besides, there is no cause for some of us greater than making heaven and giving glory to the Lord.
All your human rights and environmental stuff are actually secondary to this
Christianity EtcRe: These Are The Men Preparing The Way For The Anti Christ by dudubobo1: 10:10am On Aug 29, 2008
@Uche, do you have scriptures to back your antichrist claims?

It is not wise to make unsubstantiated claims
Christianity EtcRe: Nigerian Churches And Dress Code by dudubobo1: 10:08am On Aug 29, 2008
If a church doesn't want you because of your dress, either change the way you dress or go to another gathering where you are accepted.

If you are so convinced that you should be a part of them, that conviction should make you accept their conditions.

It would depend on why they dont want skimpily clad women in their gathering. Maybe they think these women are capable of derailing their men. . .I dont know.
PoliticsRe: Is Nigeria Really Moving At All With Yar Adua: We Need Anoda Man For 2011 by dudubobo1: 4:41pm On Aug 28, 2008
Why do you think Nigeria will move forward when most of us are too greedy to have any wholesome thoughts.

When we get the chance, we want to oppress but when we are not in a position to oppress we will be moaning. As soon as we get the chance to oppress and loot, we think it is God's blessing.

We need a collective repentance and covering ourselves in ashes in a genuine return to living properly
PoliticsRe: Who Is The Most Powerful Politician In Nigeria by dudubobo1: 4:34pm On Aug 28, 2008
I agree that Kwara State is something of a peculiar State in that the level of illiteracy and ignorance makes them camparable or worse than what I saw when was in Bauchi for a course in 1990 lipsrsealed
PoliticsRe: Gov Segun Oni Won In Ekiti State by dudubobo1: 4:30pm On Aug 28, 2008
Did someone say Ayo Arise rigged an election? I knew Ayo Arise (and lived in Okupe Estate with him) sometime in the late 80's and he was a very decent and upright man. I'll be suprised if he is involved in election malpractices.

Christianity EtcRe: This Is The Reason Why Christians Still Masturbate And Even Fornicate by dudubobo1: 11:59am On Aug 27, 2008
Go and watch my role model minister juanita Bynum (no more sheet) she deals on this issue down to earth without hesitation and reservation she is part of TBN ministries
@ rubi, it would be better if you share what your pastor said about this
Christianity EtcRe: Who is your Favorite Popular Pastor or Preacher in Nigeria? by dudubobo1: 11:57am On Aug 27, 2008
Because I like to hear the undiluted word of God and not just to hear people who want to make me feel good (it's alright for that to happen as well), I really like listening to Chris Okotie and I love Poju Oyemade's messages whenever I get the chance to listen to them.

Chris Oyakhilome also teaches well when he's not busy with miracles
Christianity EtcRe: Is It Biblically Right To Have Tattoo On The Body? by dudubobo1: 11:42am On Aug 27, 2008

Christianity EtcRe: Chris Oyakhilome Is A Phoney by dudubobo1: 11:39am On Aug 27, 2008
That was exactly what I said to paulipopo earlier.
He has nothing to substantiate his claim yet he is willing to shout it out from the rooftop.

@Paulipopo, Let every christian pray that God's kingdom will come and that His will be done on earth. Let Jesus alone take glory. There is nothing hid that shall not be revealed; even the contents of out hearts
RomanceRe: Do Virgins Make Better Partners? by dudubobo1: 11:26am On Aug 27, 2008
Question is very subjective.
Partnerships involve 2 or more parties and depend on the characteristics or attitudes of both parties, not virginity. If you are a personality that does not fit in with someone else, the partnership will not work. The fact that 2 people cant get on along together doesn't necessarily make either of them bad.
